CHAPTER 19-LUCIAN IX

I was so glad to see ate jedalion came to rescue. Rushing towards us and i saw those eyes casting a pity look on me. I slowly put down his head off my lap and ate jedalion asked me to draw a circle around him. She draw something inside and wipe lucian with a sacred water. As she began to cast a spell the place began to shook and the walls  crumbled and about to fall.

She asked me to fumbled on her bag to find the book while she's holding lucian whose gnarling and losing control-- the demon inside of him is too strong. Nagwawala na ito at napanic na kami at unti unting naglalabasan ang mga itim na usok at pinanindigan kami ng balahibo. Inabot ko kay ate ang libro at natamaan ako ng kuko ni lucian sa balikat ko.

I slowly open my eyes and saw ate jedalion sleeping right beside me. And zephylie is on the corner; nonchalantly looking at me while holding a book.

"Oh good you awake. Okay naba ang sugat mo?" Lumapit si kuya at nagising na rin si ate. Anong nangyari sakin bat nandito Sila  sa silid ko

"Its better" I replied and even my voice is still weak.

"Zephylie couldn't sleep because of y--" nabigla naman ako ng batuhin niya si kuya ng libro sa mukha  "After what happen back-- what wrong with you zep!"

I heave a deep sighed and gave em a smile. It made me realize that why would I be still upset. My body is weak and I saw some bandages. But I think I forget something. It took me an hour to processed my brain. Then it hits me "What happen to Lucian?" tanong ko at umiwas ng tingin si ate at pinakita nya ang doll

"Aside from cleansing.. he amph.." she stop and look down

"We couldn't save him" kuya continued. We manage to seal the sins but his mortal body didn't last long, it incinerate because of the beast inside of him.

I stand and went to the balcony to clear my mind first. I felt guilty for what happen. I'm sorry Lucian. We couldn't save you. It's my fault to open that box I'm gonna carry this guilt forever.As night came and the hoot of an owl was heard. They put all the pictures on the table they put a red x mark on lucian as we finish our mission to cleanse him. "Ate jeda i'm going for a walk"

"But its already 11 pm--"

"It's fine. I need a moment alone don't look for me. I'll be okay and I'll be back" i said in a low monotone.I left the building and heard shantal's voice on the balcony and throw my mask and it turns back into a flute. My eyes were sparkling to see it. Its energy is longing for me and i want to embrace it again.

I went to the darkess side of the woods to hide and wore my mask and its power is overwhelming. I change my form. Its good to be back as the sinners of the night. I was so happy to see the old me again. I walked alone under the bright light of the moon. I jumped up to the roof as I reach escavan.

I miss my body so bad. The wind chills me to the bone and the moon is covered by the clouds. The view is dull. The place is empty and full of empty barrels, trash and homeless people on the street; starving. My conscience couldn't hold it and I gave em what I can provide. What left now is my mask. Sugatan ang ibon ko mananagot ang may gawa nito. I went  to the tower bell of the town to see the clearer view of the landscape. And sat down the flocks of bird is landed beside me. The castle is beautiful and i saw her majesty having lots of party while their subjects are dying in hunger. I glanced on the bell and looked down on its rope. If i slide down this bell will disturb the people. But not for long when I saw a stair. The place is dim but I'm use to be alone in the dark. I even tip toeng so i wont make any sound as i got out of the chapel.

"I'm sorry for trespassing" I whisper under my breath i leaned back once again and saw the moon light shining in the altar. I left and close the door and as I arrive at the castle moorsheen. The guard is highly securing the castle. I hid and there's a carriage of a nobles came and I secretly crawl on the bottom to hid and the guard  slowly raising  the iron portcullis.
