"You are holding back," She said almost absentmindedly while she walked at my side, my wolf huffs and I laugh. She reached to scratch our head, and my wolf is easily at peace again. "Go ahead, run. I love watching you interact with your people," She encouraged us, and I sighed with a smile, allowing myself to merge with my wolf. We licked her hand thanking her and then started to run through the woods. We heard her giggle as she watched us, our paws sinking briefly in the dirt and grass as we jumped logs and scared rabbits. The feeling of the wind on our fur and the nature welcoming us was magic, we howled to the moon, and the nearest wolves from our pack howled back in joy.
Suddenly I heard our mate's agitated heartbeat, we stopped mid-jump and struggled to maintain balance as we landed and looked for our mate. Then we felt her yelp, and we darted towards her direction running faster than before, our mate was in danger; the earth shaking at our pace.
