MY WRISTS WERE BOUND TIGHTLY.
My eyes rolled into the back of my head as I struggled to regain consciousness. A crushing pain erupted in the left side of my head, throbbing and threatening to break my skull open.
"Shit..." I groaned lowly. "W-Where the hell am I?"
My eyes slowly fluttered open, blinking at the darkness that seemed to surround me. Dim lights flickered above me, casting an eerie shadow across the room. In the near distance, came the faint sound of water dripping into a small puddle. My breathing picked up as the walls were splattered with what looked like blood. Nausea clawed at my throat, threatening to let loose. Forcing the bile back down my throat, my stomach churned and lurched at the rancid smells that filled the room.
"I see you're awake."
A loud, familiar voice broke through the cloudy haze I seemed to be in. I blinked a few times, trying to clear my blurred vision.
"D-Dmitry?" I stuttered shakily.
