Chapter 7- The First Born

Silas opens his eyes and feels a sharp pain in his chest right where his heart is, he finds a symbol that says banished tattooed there. Silas feels a strong case of bloodlust but quickly suppresses it knowing that it would do him any good right now.

Silas now looks around at notices he in a jail-cell. Silas walks over to the door and tries to push it open but nothing happens, even if he gave all his strength. He sighed and move to the bed and laid down.

"Hmmm. It's a lot less hot than I thought it would be in hell."

"Actually that's because it's my personal jail-cell in my home."

Silas took a look around the room and appreciated the decor. It looked like a mansion with nothing but tasteful item perfectly put in the places that would maximize their beauty.

Silas then finally looked at the tall and extremely handsome man with perfectly unblemished skin that's vibrant and smooth. With a body that perfectly toned and packed with power brimming off him. He has blonde hair styled fully slicked back like a gangster, and eyes that are sky blue with hints of black running though them.

He put his hands on his chin and watch Silas. "I was wondering what that shitty father of mine was doing. But it's honestly a little hard to believe that he sent someone down here."

Silas just ignored him and sat laid down on the bed looking uninterested.

The man watched in amusement. "Well you don't really have to tell me anything since I rule this place. Name's Lucifer ruler of hell. But looking at your information, I can see that you are smart enough to figure that out…" Silas looked Lucifer in the eyes and activated his soul vision.

Silas saw a statue that looked exactly like Lucifer but it has swords run though it and fire burning all around it.

A little surprised at what he saw, Silas decided it was worth talking to Gods first born.

"So how about you tell me what your deal is? I thought that this whole job was supposed to be a punishment for you?" Silas said.

"Actually at first it was, I wanted nothing more than to go to heaven and finish what I couldn't before."

"Killing God?"

"You could say that."

No one said anything after that they just stared at each other trying to find any indication of what the other is thinking.

Lucifer getting tired of the stare off broke eye contact first and continued where they left off. "Having my own realm to rule and a ton of demons to support me, has really grown on me. So it's not really a punishment anymore."

Lucifer finished talking so he teleported Silas the actual prison in hell. Silas surprised with the sudden change of scenery looked around. And what he saw shocked him.

All around were humans getting tortured in the worse ways possible. But when Silas looked at each of the humans faces all he sees is acceptance and indifference. This surprised him even more than the gruesome torture.

Silas unable to curb his curiosity asked Lucifer a question. "Why do all the humans have faces like that?" Silas looked a random Human women in her soul and saw nothing but shattered glass in the shape of a human.

Lucifer looked over at the Humans and shrugged. "That's what happens when one loses hope and thinks that nothing with ever change. You should see how adaptable Humans are."

Silas watched it all happen without much fear in his eyes. "So does that mean that's what's going to happen to me?"

Lucifer looked at his expression and arched his eyebrows in thought. "Seriously, what is it with you? Here I thought I would finally have some fun. But you're ruining it all with that stone face of yours."

"Maybe I don't find you or all of this interesting enough." Silas quickly retorted.

"Haha funny. But you have to do better than that to rattle me."

"Who are you again?"

"…."

Neither of them said anything and just looked at each other again. Time passed and after about half an hour Lucifer finally accepted that this angel was off his rocker.

Lucifer didn't think anyone would be playing jokes on him especially with his reputation. Lucifer finding something funny about Silas and watched him a little more closely. Then Lucifer thought to himself, "I see why he got branded the sin of pride which only I've ever been able to get from the douche in the sky."

Silas walk around his cell looking at anything that would be remotely interesting. But after trying for what seemed like forever he gave up. "Hey Lucy can we go back to the jail cell in your home at least it was pleasant to look at."

Lucifer not expecting the pure audacity of Silas stood shocked. "You're asking me to move cells… Gods first born. I can't believe it." Lucifer having a bit of a breakdown try's to move past it. "I'm don't think so but if you want we can play a little game?"

Silas watched Lucifer closely trying to figure out what he means. "Don't stare at me like that I'm a little shy." Now it was Silas's turn to look at Lucifer like he's crazy. "Just a simple game with some special rules."

Silas thinking that at least it's something agreed to play. Lucifer was excited that Silas agreed so quickly. "What's the game, Lucy?"

Lucifer still not happy with the nickname told Silas about the game quickly. "It's actually a Human game, it's chess."

Silas watched Lucifer. "A human game? Fine whatever let's play."

Lucifer teleported then back into his house and set up a table in front of the cell. The chess board had both sides but all the pieces looked majestic like something only a god would use.

"Ready Silas? Let's play!" And after that you could hear nothing but the clacking of the pieces on the board.
