Preparations And Precautions As Well As A New Addition To The Family
(Lady Varian's Manor, Jack's Quarters)
Jack wakes up with a warm feeling in her chest and smiles "That was a pleasant dream" she yawns and opens her curtains to see the beautiful sun outside before walking over to her wardrobe and grabbing some basic noble clothes. Consisting of a black undershirt with a high collar, a blue shirt, dark blue gloves, dark blue tights and black shoes along with a black and blue skirt. She hears a knock on her door and opens it to reveal Aria "Good morning my lady" Aria smiles "Morning Jack". the two walk down the stairs.
(Main Hall)
Aura and Bryce stare at each other before talking "Are you sure about this Aura?". Aura nods "Of course, Moor is welcome to stay to guard against lunar beasts, especially since none of my guards have any experience against them" Bryce nods "Fair enough, I'll inform them of the decision" Bryce leaves the room and Jack and Aria enter the room and Aura smiles "Morning you two" Jack and Aura smile "Morning" Aura motions for them to sit and conjures food for them. As they are eating Aura smiles "You two made quite the impression last night, I'm so proud of both of you" Jack and Aria blush "Thank you" Aura grins and thinks to herself "I can't wait to show Jack this surprise, I'm sure she and Aria will love it".
(Near The Manor Entrance Hall)
Bryce approaches Moor and his son and smiles "Looks like you'll be sticking around Moor, Aura needs your help with the lunar beasts" Moor gasps "I-I, are you sure about this my liege?" Bryce nods "Of course, I have faith in you as does Aura. I know you won't disappoint" Bryce walks out and Aedan chuckles "Try not to get distracted by Jack during your stay" Moor blushes "Shush" Aedan laughs before leaving while Moor heads to the Barracks to go show the men the lunar beasts.
(Main Hall)
Aura leads Aria and Jack to a room and asks the two to sit and smiles "I have quite the surprise as well" Jack and Aria look at her with intrigue "What is it?" Aura smiles and hands Jack a document, Jack reads it and gasps "L-L-Lady Varian I-I" Aura smiles while Aria looks at the document and sees it's an adoption paper, Aura grins "I'd like to officially welcome you to the Varian family, Jack" Jack smiles widely as tears threaten to spill from her eyes and Aria and Aura hug her "Thank you...mother" Aura smiles and Aria smiles softly "Welcome...sister" the three hug in silence.
(Barracks)
Moor sighs as he finishes his presentation "And remember always carry sliver and a fire source on you at all times during an eclipse wether it be magic or weapon" the guards nod and Moor smiles before a maid walks into the room "Sir Moor, Lady Varian requests your presence" Moor nods "Tell her I'll be right there" the maid nods and Moor grabs his sword and helmet before heading to meet with Aura.
(Throne Room)
Moor walks in and bows "What do you need Lady Varian?" Aura smiles "I wanted to ask you a few things...one being what exactly are these lunar beasts?" Moor breathes deeply "They are lycanthropes, Werewolves and such" Aura nods "Ok, second what are their weaknesses" Moor smiles "Fire and Sliver my lady, they especially hate Sliver and won't even risk being hit by anything made of it...most of them anyway" Aura nods "Ok, final thing...is there a time where they are most active?" Moor nods "Solar eclipses and they are at their strongest during full moons" Aura nods "I see, thank you for the insight Sir Moor" Moor nods "No problem Lady Varian" Aura smiles and reaches for something, a sheath "A gift, consider it a token" Moor gasps and slowly takes the weapon and unsheathes it to reveal a double edged sliver long sword "Thank you so much Lady Varian" Aura smiles "Thank you Moor, oh one more thing she approaches him and whispers "Jack is now part of my family, I'd appreciate you keeping her safe for me...think you can handle that" Moor blushes "Of course" Aura smiles and dismisses Moor who heads outside to train with his new blade.
(Outside, Balcony)
Aria and Jack stare out from the balcony overlooking the courtyard with Jack smiling while Aria wonders what she's thinking about, they both turn when Angelica appears with tea "Morning Lady Aria, Lady Jack...I'm going to have to get used to saying that after having you work under me for so long" she smiles as does Aria and Jack "Thank you Angelica and tell the staff they did wonderful with there preparations last night" Angelica nods as she leaves, Jack picks up her tea and drinks it "I still can't believe it" Aria smiles "Neither can I, I'm so happy" Jack nods "I'm happy too" the two hear clanging and both look over the balcony to see Moor training with a few guardsman "You need to be quicker otherwise those beasts will tear you to bits...focus" Jack blushes lightly and watches him while Aria smiles "He's quite strong isn't he" Jack nods while her blush deepens "Have you considered-" Jack turns bright red "S-Sister!" Aria chuckles "Relax it was only a joke" the two continue to watch Moor until Aria leaves to check something leaving Jack alone as she thinks "He's so dreamy" Moor feels the hairs on the back of his neck stand up and quickly turns to balcony to see no one there but he can't see that Jack narrowly moved to avoid him seeing. Moor blushes before continuing his training.
(Quarters, Hallway)
Aria meets with Jack and smiles "I have some news Jack", Jack looks at her clearly intrigued "Ooo what?" Aria smiles and whispers "It seems Moor's staying to help guard against the lunar beasts" Jack blushes "Oh...///" Aria smiles "But also we are heading into town so come on let's get you changed into some noble clothing. Jack nods as she heads to her room to find maids ready to assist her.
(Jack's Quarters)
Jack looks at the outfit and gasps at it, blue and black lingerie, a blue and black corset, a white and black undershirt, blue and black dress with a black skirt, white tights, black heels and blue and black gloves. She undresses and sits at the vanity table as the maids do her make up, lipstick and braid her hair before they help her into her clothes. They help her into the lingerie before leaning her against the wall and begin tightening the corset then pulling the tights up her legs. They then help her into her undershirt and dress before pulling the gloves up her hands and getting her feet into the heels. Jack twirls and smiles "This looks beautiful" the maids smile as Jack leaves the room and remembers a time when she was just a simple maid but also what happened when she made a mistake".
(Flashback)
Jack follows Angelica in silence, slightly shaking as they had dropped a few plates which then broke which has now resulted her earning a punishment from Angelica. Angelica leads her into the room "I wouldn't worry too much it's not that bad for first time but I would advise to not get sent here again cause it gets worse the more it happens" Jack nods and Angelica leads her to a small bench of sorts before Angelica forces her to bend over the bench before chaining her hands to the floor, before going off to grab something "What is she going to do?" Angelica comes back with a blindfold and ties it over Jack's eyes before she goes off again. Jack struggles weakly before she feels something hit her butt. She groans and Angelica sighs "You might wanna keep count cause if you forget I have to redo it but with worser bindings for you" Jack squeals as Angelica continues hitting her butt with what she assumes to be a paddle of some sort. Angelica stops "How many was that?" Jack groans in discomfort "5" Angelica nods and unbinds her "I'd make sure not to end up her again because next time you'll be gagged and put in the stocks" Jack gulps "Understood Mistress" Angelica smiles "Good".
