Chapter -37.

The atmosphere grew tense. Fourth Prince Xu Bing, who had hoped for Dugu Yan's support to avoid embarrassment, found himself in a rather unfortunate predicament. With the icy stares from Evil Moon and Yan upon him, he had no choice but to continue rolling away on the ground to dodge another kick. 

Although he had submitted to the situation, Xu Bing vowed to himself that once he escaped, he'd make sure to teach those unbearable individuals a lesson that would leave them groveling at his feet.

"Xu Bing..." Dugu Yan looked at the Fourth Prince, who was acting as timid as a puppy, and her once delicate features began to harden. As a student of the Tiandou Royal Academy, she felt utterly humiliated.

"Hello everyone, I'm Shui Bing'er from Tianshui Academy, representing us at this academy exchange conference. Can I ask what's going on here?" A lovely group of beautiful women approached, drawing the attention of the royal academy disciples lying on the ground.

Shui Bing'er, with her charming face and warm, soothing voice, wore a blue-purple outfit with a flirty, short skirt and white stockings that accentuated her long legs. One leg was tied with a ribbon, adding a touch of flair to her already captivating look.

Seeing an opportunity to shift the focus, Dugu Yan introduced herself, "I'm Dugu Yan. Welcome, everyone, to the Tian Dou Royal Academy." She found herself averting her gaze from Ye Chen; his formidable presence left her feeling somewhat intimidated and cornered.

"Hello." After nodding at Dugu Yan, Shui Bing'er turned her attention to Ye Chen and the others, asking, "Are you also here for the exchange conference? Which academy do you represent?"

"Wuhun..." Ye Chen began to respond, but suddenly a big yellow figure dashed onto the scene, appearing right in front of them. It looked like a typical big yellow dog, but its speed was astounding, catching everyone off guard.

This agile dog had moved so quickly that even Ye Chen only caught a fleeting glimpse, and the others were utterly baffled regarding its origin. After sniffing around, the big yellow dog trotted over to Ye Chen, circling his feet and sniffing intently at something.

"Captain, is this your dog?" Xie Yue approached, eyeing the energetic dog with curiosity. He couldn't recall bringing a dog from the academy.

Despite Ye Chen being engaged to Hu Liena, there was still a hint of awkwardness between Xie Yue and him, likely because of their few interactions or perhaps due to Ye Chen's impressive strength that left Xie Yue feeling overshadowed, being the soon-to-be brother-in-law. 

Nevertheless, he aimed to build a good rapport with Ye Chen, considering the latter was likely to become the next Pope's successor, being the most distinguished disciple of His Holiness.

"I don't have a dog." Ye Chen shook his head, equally puzzled about why this unfamiliar dog was following him.

Suddenly, Hu Liena, standing behind Ye Chen, furrowed her brow slightly and said, "This looks like a dog from the Li Yang family, given its coloring. I can't think of anyone else in the academy who has a yellow dog."

"Li Yang?" Xie Yue exclaimed, as if recalling something important. He quickly shouted at Ye Chen, "Get away from that dog—it—"

The big yellow dog from the Li Yang family was infamous in the Wuhun Temple Academy, causing everyone's faces to pale at its mention. If not for its speed, it would have met a grim fate long ago.

But before Xie Yue could finish warning Ye Chen, the big yellow dog suddenly leapt up from the ground, opening its mouth wide toward Ye Chen. It moved so quickly that when Ye Chen reacted and tried to catch it, he only managed to grab a handful of fur.

Fortunately, although he didn't manage to hold onto the big yellow dog, Ye Chen remained unharmed.

"Ah!"

"Ah!" Suddenly, screams erupted in the square, leaving Ye Chen bewildered as he surveyed the panicking crowd.

He noticed that all the girls present were staring wide-eyed at him, hands over their mouths, faces flushed, as if witnessing something extraordinary. The boys, initially calm, soon lowered their heads, instinctively covering their lower bodies, appearing dejected as if struck by an unseen blow.

"Don't look, close your eyes!" Hu Liena quickly shielded Ye Chen, her face as red as a ripe apple.

"What's happening?" Ye Chen was about to ask for clarification when a breeze passed by, sending a chill up his spine.

Instinctively looking down, Ye Chen froze in shock. Then, filled with rage, he shouted, "Damn it, I'll get my hands on that beast!"

With that, Ye Chen stomped his foot, brandishing the Seven Star Demon Abyss Sword as he dashed after the direction where the big yellow dog had vanished, pushing his speed to the limit.

In the clear weather, a pair of bare buttocks stood out rather conspicuously in the sunlight. 

In the Royal Academy's square, Xie Yue cleared his throat a few times and gestured to Hu Liena, Yan, and Xu Ning to block the view of the retreating figure.

"Everyone, let's stop staring and head inside the academy. The captain should be back soon." Xie Yue wore an unnatural expression but tried to maintain a smile as he led his sister and teammates toward the entrance of the Tian Dou Royal Academy.

"Alright, let's all go check in at the academy." Soon, the female disciples from Tianshui Academy, hands covering their faces, hurriedly followed Dugu Yan inside the academy, with Hu Liena and the others trailing behind.

In the square, only a group of boys remained, heads down and sighing, until they noticed others leaving and climbed to their feet, assisting the dazed Fourth Prince to sneak away. 

Before long, Ye Chen emerged from the side, now appropriately dressed, casting a resentful glance behind him as he muttered, "If I catch you, you rascal, I'll definitely make you regret it!" 

Clenching his fists, Ye Chen sheathed the Seven Star Demon Abyss Sword and walked alone toward the Tian Dou Royal Academy.
