Amongst Them

A cold breeze on a winter night, the woods are covered in white, and the sound of silence is deafening. All is peaceful and calm on the border of the zoar forest, the overseer of the tower outpost seems to have become ignorant since no trouble seems to approach the border since 200 years ago when suddenly the Tower's perimeter breach alarm rang when a man on adrenaline shapeshifted in a Lycan form run ferally, and a pack of scavengers Lyrak is on a wild pursuit. 

Running seems to be only exhausting him and he knows that they'll catch up eventually and as soon as he realized that it is futile to run he decided to go on a fight, but the Lhyran would not go down easily as he grappled with the savage Lyrak for his life. This battle has been the longest fight of his life and he is falling behind his breath.

The Lyraks keep swarming by numbers and eventually, the Lyrhan wore out, a mysterious individual ordered the strongest werewolf to end his struggles, due to fatigue and severe wounds he could no longer fight, so he stood tall and spoke his last words.

"The moon shall illuminate those who seek power to protect.

A swift slash of a golden talon cuts him off, and the vicious flesh-eating lyraks start to feast, tearing from limbs to limbs till there is none but bones.

"The long night shall begin and the endless hunt shall never stop.

From a distant land in the west region of Meribah Plains, a special representative from the high council personally delivers the message to Nera the matriarch of the fallen.

"Matriarch is the Wife werewolf"

"Patriarch is the Husband werewolf"

The man that was slaughtered is Zorak, an elder Lycan and one of the members of the Lyrhan's High Council. A funeral procession was held, it is a traditional way of paying respect when a high member of the Clan dies

Not long after the funeral of Zorak, Nera gave birth to a white werewolf whom she named Zoren, everyone was shocked because a white werewolf is very rare. It is said that it is only born once after several millennia.

The birth of a white werewolf has been controversial and even reached the Capital of Lardiz Oasis.

[At the High Council, somewhere in the Lardiz Capital]

Elder 1: A white werewolf? What an interesting one.

Elder 2: Do any of you remember the prophecy?

Elder 3: Let's not jump to conclusions no one can say yet.

Elder 4: That is Zorak's little boy.

They live in a small town named Cuba in the east region of Meribah plains under the Rizrik Clan, after her Patriarch died she was forced to join the pack as a hunter to provide for his son Zoren.

The main source of living they have is joining the clan's raid and hunt, every town in the continent of Iowa is being managed by a Clan, without a clan who protects the village they can easily be wiped out by a Lyrak.

Lyrak is a vicious merciless werewolf who eats their kind, they are also known as the red werewolves and kin eaters.

They are from the Avroth Continent, and they sneak into the Continent of Iowa to hunt a Lhyran as their food.

The job of the pack is to Hunt Lyrak who lurk around Iowa or raid the Lyrak's territory to maintain peace and order in their land.

There are 4 levels of Transformation:

First is the Shapeshifters

They are the people who can Transform into a Lycan form. It is the most basic transformation.

Second is the Metamorph

It is a special transformation that turns a lycan into a Humanoid form and only a few people can obtain this form.

The third is the Mutation

This transformation is common to the Lyraks, mutation happens when a werewolf eats its kin.

Phantasm.

This transformation can only be obtained by an Alpha werewolf. It enhances all the specs of the body and boosts strength and speed.

A werewolf can obtain such a transformation by consuming the eye of another werewolf.

It is a dangerous job because it takes at least 5 Lhryan in a Lycan form to kill a single Lyrak. The strength of a Lyrak depends on how many werewolves they consumed, their size determines their strength and the bigger the stronger they are.

One fateful night, a horde of mutated Lyrak attack the town of Cuba while the Alpha Chief and most of the hunters are out and are currently on the hunt.

The Lyrak feast on the helpless villagers, an individual that is on the run who happened to pass by, heard a baby crying inside the hut she cannot ignore it so she went inside and she saw a white baby werewolf.

A loud thud of footsteps is approaching the hut she passes through the back of the hut and runs through the forest.

A few moments later, the Alpha chief and the other hunters saw the village burning from the distance so they rushed ahead and they fought the Lyraks head-on. Nera on the other hand immediately headed to their hut but her baby was nowhere to be found she only saw a mess and a sign of an attack but no track of blood. She was devastated and did not want to believe that her baby was eaten, she could only hope for a miracle.

[On the other side]

The lady who took Zoren is on the run, a big lyrak is chasing her, she heads towards the Lardiz Oasis Capital to lure the beast so that the Soldiers of the Capital would help kill the Lyrak.

The Lyrak breached the perimeter and the soldier on a post started shooting it from the distance. The lady is a maid from a noble family so she easily passed through the gates. As soon as she entered the Mansion she was questioned about what happened and why she was in a rush.

She shows them the baby and apologizes, the nobles were shocked!

"Impossible! A white werewolf?

[The patriarch said]

The Matriarch and patriarch noble looked at each other, and they went down on their knees and lowered their heads toward Rosana the maid.

Since the noble's matriarch wasn't able to carry a child in a womb due to health problems they decided to ask Rosana if they could adopt the baby. Rosana immediately agreed to the request of the Nobles and she asked for one condition. That she will be the one to take charge of the care of the baby and when the time comes she will serve directly under him.

"I am the one who brought him here, he is my biggest responsibility so please allow me to serve under him!"

The nobles agreed and hugged Rosana.

"It must be fate that brought you here our little boy! Lysandra the matriarch said."

The patriarch is happy and named the boy Lyonel Leonwollis III.
