“Ach. They took the Tetrider,” Marc muttered.
“They’re probably not going to wreck it,” I assured him.
“So, what exactly will we be doing in the meantime?” Fern wondered.
“Uhm…” I twirled a ponytail. “More investigating? In this town, I mean.”
“Hah! I knew you were just winging it,” Fern laughed. “Come on, guys. I saw this arcade while we were walking through town.”
“Neon Moon, right?” Angelina nodded. “Our skills, we can test them there.”
“Oh!” I snapped my fingers. “So it’s a training grounds.”
Angelina and Fern gave each other a look. “Something like that,” Fern said. “Marc, don’t spoil it.”
We arrived at the place. It looked fairly drab on the outside, but inside was a different story altogether: Ridiculously bright and exotic colors assailed my eyes, yet somehow it was still dark.
“What in the world is this? Why is everything so flashy? Is this really a training grounds? Everything’s so close together,” I inquired.
