After enduring that long, arduous encounter, I finally managed to register with the guild. Thanks to defeating the C-rank Fire beast, my rank was now C. In this guild, there are various rankings: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, X, Z, and even Demigod. Given the multitude of heroes and dark heroes in this world, it's no wonder there are so many rankings. However, what's interesting is that one can attain a high rank without possessing any affinity.

Speaking of affinities, there are numerous types. To begin with, there's anti-magic, magic, chi, ki, mana, and Chakra. Additionally, there are some secret ones that only a select few possess. Remarkably, I have affinities for all of them, including a very rare one that is typically kept secret. Although I can utilize a bit of Anti-magic, my main affinity remains my magic cancel skill. Previously, I would have only had that one skill, but after becoming a Nephilim, my affinity has improved significantly.

While conversing with the guild representative, I felt a sudden chill. It reminded me of Yuki, who possesses immensely powerful ice magic and obtained his demon mark at the tender age of one. His potential to become a demon lord is undeniable, but he desires nothing more than a life of relaxation. Thankfully, being the younger sibling, he don't face the same level of scrutiny from our father regarding his choices.

After that strange sensation passed, I glanced at the quest board and noticed a task to subjugate a goblin camp. I informed the woman at the counter that I would undertake this quest. She mentioned that upon completing the task, I could claim the land as my own. With that in mind, I headed to an inn and retired for the day, seeking much-needed rest.
