Della's heart shuddered and she was just about to speak when a figure emerged from the side.

Jaden yanked Ethan's hand away and pushed the man away again, saying coldly, "We don't need your help, don't come here pretending to be merciful."

Seeing Jaden appear, Della was obviously surprised.

"Jaden, what are you doing here?"

"Oscar asked me to come, he told me that you are not in a good mood, so he asked me to come over to bring you to have lunch with him."

Jaden and Della spoke with an intimacy that no one else could imitate.

Ethan's eyes dimmed completely when he thought of Della and Jaden growing up together as childhood friends.

"I'm fine, Oscar just makes a big deal out of little things ," Della said.

Jaden deliberately reached out and rubbed Della's head, smiling, "He did it for you. You should behave yourself as well."

Ethan found Jaden's action extremely harsh, and even had an urge to cut off Jaden's hands.
