The three went and sat on a table in the opposite direction to that of Dan and Florence. Sarah saw Dan but she didn't recognize it was him. They both ordered red wine and started making funny stories, laughing loudly at each other.

Dan saw her and knew if he got up from the chair she would recognize her, he was now in a dilemma and he couldn't tell Florence what was going on.

Florence sensed something was not right because his moods changed so suddenly.

"Sir, did I do something wrong or did I say something which offended you?" Florence asked him.

"No, I have just remembered I left something very important at the office and it can get land into the hands of some bad people." Dan lied about what really happened.

"I am sorry sir, let's hope it doesn't, you will get it tomorrow, it's late for you to go back now," Florence replied back.

"Sure, I will just call my secretary to keep it safe. Anyway, let's not worry about that, let me walk you out." Dan stood up but he didn't want to turn around so he was forced to hold Florence's hands looking at her in the eye. The act was just weird, Florence thought he wanted a kiss because Dan was looking at her with very sexy eyes full of love, but all Dan was doing was trying to escape from the lion's garden.

"Please not today sir, maybe not forever, so stop staring at me like that." She said to him, Florence was mature enough but pretentious, she already knew Dan was already in love with her, but it was their first date and a kiss was the last thing she would think of doing on their first date.

"I am sorry, I really didn't want to do anything. Maybe you misjudged me." Dan said to her smiling.

"Yeah, maybe, or maybe I got you," Florence replied smiling back at him

"Thank you, sir, for everything, thank you for the coffee or whatever that was, I really have to get back home now, I am already late and Mom will be so mad at me." She said.

"Thanks so much for your time Florence and for the company, and by the way, you were so stunning today, you look beautiful. Please be safe." Dan gave her five hundred shillings to use for fare, even though where she was going to was just a walking distance.

This time, Florence really wanted to give him a hug, but Dan was holding back, so she had to go back with her hug.

Dan got into the car and they left with Joe. Before they could even get out of the compound of Tintoler hotel, his phone started ringing, and it was Sarah calling.

"Hello, baby, where are you? I was roaming around and was hoping we could catch up. I am here at Tintoler hotel with some friends." Sarah said.

"Hello Sarah, I am at home right now and I am feeling unwell, I am not sure I can make it to Tintoler right now," Dan replied.

"Oh, I am so sorry hubby, why couldn't you tell me, anyway don't worry about it, let me come over then. Tell Mom I am coming." She replied back.

"You really don't have to do that, I think it's just a headache, I will be fine." Dan thought lying to her would make things easy for him, but it just made them even more complicated. Joel started laughing at him.

"No, I am coming, I will be there in ten. Remember I am a doctor and my hubby is feeling unwell. Actually, it's good I have my test kit with me. See you soon, love you." Sarah ended the call.
