Having Dinner With Her Fiancé

Huo Man glanced at her watch. It was only nine in the evening.

It was the 21st century. Why were the Huo family still so traditional?

Huo Man stopped and said disdainfully, "I'm having dinner with my fiancé. Is there a problem? If you think it's wrong, please speak to Shen Bei and tell him not to pick me up at the school gate and insist on having dinner with me."

"She must be lying to us on purpose! Maybe she's fooling around with another man!" Huo Yan couldn't believe that her Brother Shen Bei would have dinner with Huo Man. She kept repeating the same words in an attempt to convince herself.

Huo Cheng did not say a word, but his face was full of worry. If Huo Man and Shen Bei were to really fall in love, not only would the inheritance take effect, she would also have more capital behind her.

Huo Man didn't care what the Huo family thought of her. She went back to her little thatched cottage, lay on the bed, and took out her phone. She realized that Tang Qin had sent her a message.

Huo Man suddenly remembered how she had taught Sang Yue a lesson in the cafeteria the day before, and how she had beaten up those little minions after school. Could it be that Shen Tuo had suddenly become interested in her because of those things?

"I've always admired the strong. I admire you, so I want to be friends with you," Shen Tuo directly told Huo Man the reason.

Huo Man didn't agree, but she didn't refuse either. She stood up in front of everyone and said calmly, "You may enter."

Shen Tuo didn't understand what Huo Man meant and looked at her in confusion. "So... does that mean you agree to it?"

"I don't have the habit of making friends." Huo Man was still cold and expressionless like an iceberg.

The whole class sighed.

Huo Man had to be crazy! There was no other explanation for why she dared to speak to Shen Tuo like that!

The whole school knew that Shen Tuo was not someone to be trifled with, but Huo Man, this country bumpkin, was acting so arrogant to Shen Tuo on what was only her second day of school!

The crowd looked at Shen Tuo, waiting to see how he would teach this arrogant woman a lesson.

However, he was not angry. Instead, he smiled and said, "It's okay. We're deskmates anyway. We can be friends as long as we get along."

When he heard Shen Tuo's words, Lu Jie thought he was hallucinating. Since when did his Master Tuo like to make friends with others so much?
