CHAPTER ONE The Onset

"Morning dear,

don't you remember what today is?"

Diva Camilleri asked surprisingly,he was still sleeping!.She didn't know what to do because she knew because she knew he was a heavy sleeper,then something crossed her mind...her eye caught the closed blinds opposite him.She tiptoed and opened it to an extent that the rays of the sun spilled from it and erected straight into his eyes as he rubbed them turning lazily

"GRRRRRIIIIING!"

His alarm clock went which made he spring up quickly

"It's camping day!".Evan Camilleri yelled jerking up from his bed

"Lazy bones,you think you can have a sleep for the whole day..."

She figured out

"It's five past eight,so you have to go and take your shower before your mates will arrive"

It was a day he has been waiting for,he he spent the whole night packing his belongings

"I'm free now,so I think I have to..."

He was interrupted by a knock on his door

"It's open,come in"

He cried with his eye fixed on the door

"Hey, morning dude.. "

Dwight Stavros greeted as he came in giving him a handshake while sitting on the bed

".. you're still on your pyjamas? don't you know it's almost take off time?"

He asked surprised

"I know it's just that my sister just left my room upset few minutes ago before you came in"

Evan explained weakly as he rolled down from his bed

"Alright,have you had your shower?"

Dwight asked

"Nope..."

"...and now what?

Dwight interrupted quickly

"I'm just waking up don't you get it?"

Evan cleared

"Waking up?!"

He screamed astounded as the statement jerked him up

"Why're you screaming,I was about moving to the bathroom before you came in"

Evan said softly in a faint voice

"You were about going to the bathroom but I met you on your bed when I came in?"

Dwight asked almost upset

"Come on,calm down don't get upset this early morning,you're just coming okay,just relax"

Evan calmed with his hand on his friend's shoulder as Dwight looked at him sternly

"Ok,you go in there,take your shower wile I stay here and get you remaining thing set,is that okay by you?"

He asked with his eye twinkling as if they would just jump out of their sockets

"Yeah...--- I just don't want any other person to be upset with me this morning,not even my friend"

He thought.

He went in,took his bath and was out with his towel tied around his waist then he began to dress up as Dwight arranged his belongings for the adventure.Before he could finish his dressing,his name rang in his ear

"Your camp mates are already here waiting for you guys!"

It was his sister again

"They're making me feel so impatient,I can't wait to be at the island....Oh! It would be fun,we would make our tents,move around and...I think there would be amazing things there....isn't it Jasmine?"

"Oh...goodness me,you talk a lot Fiona"

Jasmine Haynes lamented as Fiona Banks ended her statements turning to her with her hand around her shoulder

"That's because I'm so excited,I feel like..."

"Can I hear a pin drop for once... Fiona?

Kyle Carew cut in authoritatively as Fiona got frightened

"Yes"

She replied softly

Everyone was already impatient to leave for the adventure,not long enough Evan and Dwight were already in the midst of the others.They set off by a train with was suffering from many illments,it needed proper attention and some paintings. Fiona who was a pint-sized blonde talked more like a parrot.Some of the old people who were close to her in the train were all being disturbed by her talks.

Hey young lady over there,can you close you unwashed stinking mouth?! we are all fed up with all those balderdash you've been vomiting"

One of the old ones gathered courage and told Fiona as she was now nothing but ashamed of her own self.She reluctantly sat down on her sit.The train made horrible and terrible noises throughout the journey.When they finally got to the place,they thanked their stars and were relieved that they had gotten rid of the horrible and noisy train.

"That train was really a threat to my impatient nerves"

Fiona finally spoke up aloud admist their comments.

"I see that the warning that was given to you by that old fellow was not a stop to your nuisance character"

Paige Stoker said.

"Paige...don't you think I have to talk as long as I'm part of this peer group?"

Paige said nothing to her before she finally broke the silence.

"I get irritated whenever I hear you talk"

Fiona was embarrassed and was quiet as if she would never talk again.

All of them going for these great adventure have reached the Diani river to get a speed boat which will take them to the other side of the Diani Island---Swahili---.

"It's really a long journey and I'm already exhausted..."

Muttered Evan

"...I'm not with any drink to get rid of this thirst"

He completed.

"I think you should...drink this island water"

Fiona suggested with her eyes wide open.

They all looked at her in amazement.She is the kind of person that cannot resist talking and having fun,it makes her uncomfortable like something is missing in and and it actually gives her goose pimples.She is blonde with a babyish oval face with charming eyes accompanied with a little sexy body like that of a professional harlot,she has a petite pinkish lip every man would love to use for a french kiss practical. having all these features,being a pint sized blonde doesn't matter.Fiona hasn't really learnt her lesson after the incident in the train.

*At the point where they would come down the boat and go over to the point they would lay their tents at Swahili*

Evan was busy unpacking his things from his bags.Fiona really loved the sight of the island .She was busy looking around having fun forgetting she would help in preparing the tent.

"We are done with our tent!"

Marilyn announced to call the attention of her camp mates after she and Ralph were done with their tents.Fiona felt a tap at her back and as she turned,she saw Evan standing with his hand at 'akimbo' casting a serious look at her.He was a no nonsense person though.Fiona is normally frightened at seeing guys getting mean to her be it in looks or actions.

"OMG.. what do I do now?"

She thought as she stood still for a moment and finally tiptoed out of his presence slowly to arrange her things in the tent.Reaching there,she met her camp mates having fun.Jasper Farrow and Paige were playing

chess,she almost forgot she hasn't finish arranging her things,she was attracted to have fun.At last she was done with arranging,not long after,she heard her name and it seemed to be coming from a bit far from the tent and before she knew it,The Chans- Sybil and Miranda came in

"We want to look around close by so we decided you'll be a better person to join us do that"

Sybil said and Fiona saw sense in it and accepted to go with them

Dwight Paid a visit to to Evan in his tent and met him snoozing and he decided to leave him so as to wake up early the next morning.He left.Paige and Jasper finished their game and slept off.

After sometime of sleep.....

"Wake up"

Paige said in a soft voice tapping Evan.He opened his eyes only to see her in a dual section

"Everyone wake up,I made dinner"

Paige continued as as they moved one after the other

"Really?"

Fiona murmured stretching her tender body.

They all sat around the peppered gizzard and juice except Fiona.

"Wow...my favourite...I can't wait to start eating"

Marilyn rejoiced as she made herself comfortable

"Aren't you eating,Fiona?"

Asked Ralph Carter in concern

"Why are you so bothered,is that a crush on her or something?"

Paige asked rudely resuming her eating

"What do you mean by that Paige,what if I have a crush on her and besides I just asked a question".

Ralph said in annoyance as Paige kept mute feeling less concerned

"Can't you apologize?"

Jasper asked

"I'm sorry"

Paige apologized taking the second spoon of food into her mouth after looking around to see everyone's attention on her

"Are you sincerely sorry or not?"

Even asked

"Of course I am"

She replied in a cool and innocent voice.By this time Fiona was already asleep and Marilyn had already finished the food before everybody knew it.She had her luck that there were left over,then they ate it and slept off.

Noises were heard the next morning from the tent of Dwight

"Happy birthday...Happy birthday"

Evan woke up and woke his tent mates and they made their way outside.it was Dynamite Brennan's birthday,she was already standing before the cake made by her best friend June Anderson yesterday night without her notice.It was really a surprise to her --she was so delighted.

Everyone got in their tents and got dressed for the party.Everyone was waiting patiently for the celebrant to step in.Not long after, everywhere was silent

"The celebrant is here!"

June announced and there were clapping as she stepped in,she was looking like a nightingale.The rays of the spotlight really gleamed on her.She was putting on a long Orange gown that covered her thirteen inches golden heel with her earrings that dangled over her shoulders,the tinge if her hair; black with green at it's tips.The gown she wore brought out her features which were her portable butts at her back side and her tender soft breast in front,she had her light make up too.Her gown which was up at the front and then sweeping the floor at the back had a rope designed in a zigzag fashion from her shoulder to her waist.Having a grey cat eyes, charming lips,she was whatever you could imagine.But guess what,she could possibly release men from great spell of love by a mermaid,socerer,witch think of anything that has great powers,her beauty is actually undescribable.A round face and pointed nose are the things which added to her beauty.Dynamite knowing very well that she has an elf ear,loved combing her hair backwards to cover to cover those ears of hers.Luckily for her she wasn't disfigured by those horrible them.

At the entrance of the arena for the party Dynamite walked with someone who was almost the same height with her --Thelca Lock.At the sight of Dynamite and Thelca the guys turned to take a good look at Dynamite curves.As she walked and noticed the eyes if people she felt shy to the extent of falling off her heel.Thelca noticed this and almost lost control of her laughter.To some guys she was the only pretty lady standing admist them.

She looked so pretty,even prettier than most of the marine girls,it was as if it was a rule there that every guy who danced with Dynamite gave her a nice flower--flattered her.To her almost surprise,Evan and expected person,didn't say words of love or compliment concerning her clothes or her makeup.He only asked her for a dance which they did,he was looking deep into those grey eyes of hers as if he was reading her mind.Throughout their dance which took about twenty minutes, Dynamite was shy and afraid that he might do or say something silly that would probably hurt her,to her surprise,none of the above happened.

The splendid party continued with all it's fantasy,gentlemen and ladies ate and drank to stupor with rock and roll music.Soon enough,the party was over, everyone began to withdraw one after the other.Dynamite went to her tent disappointed at Evan's despicament.Everyone retired to their various tents and all slept off.

The following day, everyone--every single person was up and doing for the days expedition.They divided themselves into two groups,the first group took one part of the island and the second group,the other part

"You aren't coming with me to this part?"

Dwight asked as Evan said nothing but gave a signal that he won't.They all departed and went their different ways.Jasmine who was in Evan's group loved beautiful birds and butterflies.She was admiring a butterfly which was pink in colour with purple stripes at the edge of its wings

"That's beautiful right?"

Fiona asked as she badged in to Jasmine

"Yeah ..it's so cute"

Jasmine replied smiling still admiring it

"It's time to go Jasmine"

Fiona reminded taking her by the hand

"Alright..."

She replied....and to the creature

"...bye beautiful creature"

She bided running with Fiona to catch up with the others.Liam Shelagh and Ciara Greenwood were busy with themselves taking shots of amazing things on the island,at the point they got to a place where there were three pathways and they were confused

"I suggest we follow the middle path"

Fiona chipped as they all looked at her

"Well,if you all are not going with me,then I'll go on my own"

Evan proposed they go their own way before Kyle said that they should go with her before she would go far--"after all we are not meant to be divided"

He ended and after these words they all approved it and went to catch up with Fiona.They adventured for for a long time until it started becoming late

"It's ready late and I'm sure the other group would be back to the island"

Ciara said breaking the silence

"That's true and today's adventure is just boring"

December Singh concurred with an unexpressed look on her face then they turned back and began to return to their tents,when they got to the three pathways it's seemed confusing

"Where did we come from Fiona?"

Kyle asked as they all stood to hear her out, some looking at her and few include Kyle staring at the pathways

"I think here...no there...em...I think it's err.....this way....Oh...we are lost"

Fiona pointed severally and dragged finally like someone who lost all hope.To avoid misunderstandings, they followed another path they guessed to be the path they came from which led them to Archipelago in Diani Island.As the went, December kept disturbing the others with words of her being lost in the island.Still in the process of locating their way out,they got to a place where they saw an area surrounded by tall evergreen trees like that of animations

"This is amazing..."

Dawn Legend admired as they turned to her

"...can you see that?"

She asked pointing to a direction as she went closer for a better look only for a pathway to be opened for her,they were all amazed as they all followed her to the place.On getting there,they wanted to enter into the place only to find out that there was an invisible obstacle which Dawn felt like a smooth glass which was in a cube form.They all admired the place and after sometime,Dawn felt that the glass was melting which she knew was never possible and they found themselves inside the area and as the admired further,Ciara felt her leg sinking at the middle of the place and she was scared that she saw herself on Arthur Hidalgo seeking for safety and he held her firmly to himself,then they began looking at the reaction of the strange hole, thereafter,a little flower began to rise from the hole and they all looked at the movement of the flower as it rose,they all looked without blinking because they felt any blink will make the miss any part of the show.As the watched,the flower forcefully bloomed into a tree scattering them all over as the stood up gradually to see the bloomed tree with pink branches which formed a round umbrella shape having a crystal at it's top which was never seen ,it began to shine so bright and the brightness circulated to the whole tree and it began to shimmer so bright until it's leaves began to fall and as it fell,it had a silver colour with it's leaves transparent

"It's really amazing in here"

Fiona said

"This island is absolutely magical"

Drake mater said after being short of words

They began to see what the couldn't see when the came in---they saw where they were and the glass in which they were in that Dawn felt at the first place,it had a golden door which opened and the began to leave through the door with the leaves still glittering in their hands,they held it as a proof to show the others but immediately they left the door,the leaves turned to it's normal colour--pink and stopped glittering.

"Oh...it has stopped glittering"

Fiona complained

"We can still get more"

Marilyn suggested moving towards the door as Fiona followed suit but before they could get there,the door closed and they were sad

"Now they won't believe us"

Trevor Guthrie said disappointed

"If they don't believe us then we would bring them here"

Evan said

"Yes ..Evan has a point"

Dawn chipped in acceptance

"What do we say about this?"

Kyle asked looking at everyone

"Let's take Evan's idea"

Jasmine suggested finally

The magic always took place every fifteen spring....
