Aliyah was half down the stairs screaming.

The boys came running with Jack behind them.

- I think she's trapped in a room., she was banging on the door before now I don't know she's not responding.

- What?! What do you mean?

They rushed up the stairs .

- Rose?! Which room?

Hunter was frantically knocking on doors throughout the hall.

Rose heard their voices. She got even more anxious.

- We're in here!

Irene said as soon as she heard the voices.

- Noah please get me out of here!!

Rose cried. She couldn't scream louder but she knew he would hear her.

- I'm here ! I'm here it's okay I'm gonna get you out of there okay? Do you hear me ?

She nodded her head, she knew he couldn't see her but she couldn't talk, still crying and trying to breathe she put her hand on the door.

- We're trapped in here, just call Logan at the reception downstairs please!

Irene said. Getting up from her chair.

Hunter ran down the stairs.

Noah was desperate. He wanted to kick that door down so bad. He just wanted to get her out of there.

Hunter was coming up the stairs with a tall blond man.

- I'll go get the car out in the front, you get her and we leave.

Aliyah said. She didn't want to let Rose be there any minute longer.

Noah nodded as the manager kept trying different keys to open the door of the office.

- Hurry the fuck up!!

- Hunter !

Jack didn't like swearing , he was worried too, he knew Irene better than the boys.

Finally he found the right key and opened the door. Rose was in the ground right in front of it, she couldn't breathe and she was sobbing. Irene just walked past her.

- Finally Logan !

- Sorry Mrs. Alden , didn't know you were upstairs.

- We'll talk about it in the morning.

Noah and Hunter kneeled down to Rose.

- Are you okay?

- We're here now. Its over.

- Are you okay kiddo?

Jack asked, Rose gave a slow nod.

- Get her out of here!

He said.

- Mrs. Alden, a word ?

- Yeah sure! Rose? feeling better I hope?

- The boys got her, don't worry!

Rose still couldn't breathe normally.

- Hey hey hey. Look at me, look at me ! Breathe with me ! Its okay, you're okay.

Noah said and she looked in his eyes as he breathed slowly with her, holding her hands that were shaking uncontrollably.

Hunter felt the angriest he'd ever felt before. Seeing her like that he felt like punching a wall.

- Lets get her out!

- We're gonna leave now okay? I got you, I won't let go of your hand okay?

Hunter got up. But just as Noah was about to get up, Rose held his hand tighter.

- I…I can't walk…My legs…I can't ..

She said sobbing.

- It's okay.

He grabbed her and held her in his hands. She buried her head in his shoulder and held him tighter.

The lights were making her panic more.

He tried to hold his tears.

He carried her downstairs into the lobby .

He kissed her arm.

- Its okay. We're going home, Aliyah is getting the car and we will drive you home okay?

Rose didn't respond. She was still shaking, all she could think of was that she wanted to be home at once. She didn't want to see or hear anything else. She only felt the unexplainable urge to be home.

Aliyah pulled up with Hunters car and Hunter opened the back door.

Noah sat Rose down and sat on the other side. She laid her head on his lap and Hunter sat in the front with Aliyah.

- Want me to take over?

He asked, they had to get home quick so he didn't want to overwhelm her she was already stressed.

- No I got it

She said speeding down the front drive not even looking at him.

Jack took Irene to the main hall downstairs

- What in the hell was that?

- Excuse me?

- Oh the boys might believe your act of a worried grandmother but I know better than that. I know you better than that. You locked here there didn't you?

- I don't know. You tell me. What the hell did you say to that kid ?

- Well, Mr. Bennet, let me ask you this..what could I have possibly said to have caused such a tragic response? And as per your comment regarding my role as a grandmother, I would love to know if you showed the same concern when her drunk mothers drunk boyfriends beat her each day for years on end or did this protectiveness only bloom now?

He didn't reply.

- I took as much care of her as she let me. How about you? When did your love for her suddenly appear or let me put it this way why now? I mean I get your husband, he was dying and he somehow needed the kids forgiveness. What did you need? What changed your mind?

Now before this conversations turns ugly I suggest we end it here and I don't have to fire you tomorrow.

He said and walked away and he called Hunter. He knew Noah wouldn't pick up until Rose was okay.

Aliyah was driving full speed as Rose lay in the backseat still trembling and crying.

Noah ran his hand through her hair and wiped her tears and kissed her head.

- We'll get home soon don't worry

He said but she didn't say anything, she wouldn't even open her eyes.

She looked terrified and he didn't know what to do to make her feel safe.

- Yeah dad, we're driving home…

Hunter said as he talked to Jack on the phone. Jack insisted on bringing a doctor over.

- No, just bring the car over, we left it there, the keys are in Roses purse.

Hunter could tell it wasn't anything physical, but he didn't want Rose to hear him say it.

Rose kept her eyes closed and her hands tied together.

She was trembling, Noah took off his jacket and put it over her.

- You're okay . We're almost home.

He said to her as he kept wiping her tears.

There was traffic and he grew even more worried. He just wanted to get her home already.

- Okay. You guys hold tight

Aliyah said and she made a U turn right there and went another way.

- Uh.. where are you going?

Hunter asked and fastened his seat belt.

- Taking a shortcut

She turned left into a narrow street.

- Aliyah..I think this is a one way only..

Hunter looked a bit uncomfortable not being the driver for the night

- I know smart ass but it will take us home faster and that's all I care about.

Noah was glad. He didn't care either he just wanted Rose to be okay again.

Hunter looked at her . This was so out of character for her and he didn't know what to say.

She didn't reply she only gave him an annoyed look.

Just as they approached the end of the road another car drove right up to them.

Aliyah said. She turned her head and looked at Rose still trembling and crying.

She flickered the lights. she hoped the man in front of them would back up so they could pass.

He looked at her angrily and crossed his arms clearly letting her know he wasn't going to move.

The man swore at her, rolled up his window and started backing up.
