Chapter 9: In the hospital

"So how was she?" The president asked his secretary who just enter the office. The secretary gave the folder he was holding. He flipped every page and was surprise on what he just witness. He saw a name he didn't hear for the past years. In that very moment, his eyes are full of different emotions. Anger, regret, conscience but most of all, yearning. He put down the papers on his table and turn his back and fix his eyes outside his office.

Tears fell from his eyes.

"Sir, as far as I know she is now okay since her uncle together with the young master donate the needed blood so she is now out of danger." The secretary told him. He just nods and wipe the tears from his cheeks. Only him knows the weight he has been holding in his heart for how many years.

In the hospital, after donating blood, Mr. Ru left the hospital knowing she's stable. He went out to investigate what happen to her.

Meanwhile, in the hospital's lobby..

"Shin!!!!!!!!!!" Doctor Shin turn around and saw her sister smiling at her..

"Camill, what are doing here? I thought you have a seminar.." They hugged.. Camill is Shin's older sister and is a doctor like her. They are actually a family of doctors.

"My flight was delayed for 2 hours so I personally came to see you, wait, are you busy?" Dr. Shin show her the chart she was holding. When Camill saw that, she frowned.

"But can I just come with you, maybe I can learn something from you. My genius baby.." Then she tap her head..

"Come on, I'm not a kid anymore, anyway, let's go" They went to Jilliana's room. Draven was sitting on the couch and when he saw dr. Shin, he stand and greet her.

"Hello Dr. Shin." She just smiled at him.

"Anyway, this is my sister Camill, "Camill extend her hands .

"Hello there handsome.." He also smiles at her and shake her hands. After the introductory part, Dr. Shin went straight to Jilliana and check her vital signs. Camill followed her, upon fixing her eyes on the woman lying on the bed, her expression changes into surprised.

"I know her!!!!" The two look at her.

"What do you mean? You know her?" Dr. Shin asked

"Yeah, I saw her in the hotel's parking lot 2 days ago. She's with those body guards, I don't actually know the details but I'm sure that's her. She seems drunk and I thought, those are her sentinels. What happen to her?" She long explained.

When they heard that, the two think it wasn't right and something is going on.

"Her body is full of bruises while her arm is brutally wounded. Seems like, it was smashed hard for the skin to cut open and the bone to be severely cracked." Camill cover her mouth, she was flabbergasted.

"That was vicious, If only I know, I would have save her."

"Yeah, so she will not be able to use her arm for the mean time until it healed." Dr. Shin caresses her sister's back. Draven fixed his eyes on the woman sleeping and conscience was painted in his heart. He just put a liquor on a fire. After checking her, the two sisters already left but Draven stayed.

After some time, she slowly opens her eyes and feel her body aching. She was about to sit when she saw a man sitting on the couch while sleeping.

"What is he doing here?" She thought, and remember what happen before she lost her consciousness. Before she even sits straight, Draven woke up and saw her so he drastically moves closer and help her sit.

"What are you doing? "She suddenly ask after she relaxed herself.

"I'm helping you." He answered with his eyebrow up.

"I mean, I remember you tried to kill me back then."

"Don't be so dramatic, I was just trying to scare the hell out of you. Besides, you hurt me first and I never know you're hurting." He put up a cold expression once again to cover his guilt. She looks at him with mockery in her eyes.

"tsk, you look like you'll kill me though." She whispered but he heard that so he just throws her an evil look and cross his arm on his chest. After a second, Fatima enter the room and look at the both of them questionably. When Draven saw her, without any words, he left the room.

"How's your feeling?" She put the lunchbox on the table and approach her.

"I'm fine, but you don't have to do that. I can manage" But instead of fearing her, Fatima didn't mind what she just said and fix her cover.

"Anyway, your uncle told me to take care of you." After hearing that, her eyes enlarge.

"What did you just say? My uncle?" She looks at her puzzled.

"Yeah? And he's one of your blood donor." She thought for a second. Her uncle seems to not care about her welfare so she was shocked at the same time happy that her uncle showed concern on her and even donate blood for her. But..

"One? Who's the other one?" she asked

"Draven" Fatima answered without looking at her and fix the food on the plate. That info is a big blow for her. She never thought that, that devil actually donate blood for her. That is just impossible.

"Does that mean; I'm indebted to him?" Fatima nod in response.
