Shattered Dimensions: Marvel x DC

Zombie virus swept over the world. Heroes are either dead or turned zombies. Humanity is fighting for survival, but as time passed, humans become more vicious than those freaking zombies. The lack of resources turned humanity against themselves. Among those survivors, there is a boy named, Karl. All he wanted to do was survive with his family like all others, but that changed when Karl awakened a unique System that provided him with quests and rewards. However, even with the system's boost, will Karl be able to protect what he has and face off against zombified heroes and villains with intelligence? What if the Gods themselves are corrupted by the virus? --- There's a harem. MC will travel to DC too... EXPECT 3-4 CHS/WEEK --- I don't own Marvel or DC except for my own OC. [Don't translate my work rulate site thieves & don't make audiobook of my work] --- Cover pic found on Pinterest.

[VOL-1: END] TIME TO FIGHT BACK

AN: Released 17 chs, let's see how many PS and reviews or comments I get.

----

Tyger opened the file as everyone looked into it and slowly their eyes widened. Then they looked up at my face before looking back down again.

Lisa was the first to speak up, "Is this real?"

"90% chance, yes," I answered.

"This... This changes everything," Jace said as he picked up the file and read through it carefully.

"A cure to all this madness?" Tyger whispered, her hands shaking slightly.

"Does this mean humanity stands a chance now?" Jenny asked, hope flashing in her eyes.

"Hopefully, yes. Yesterday we didn't have any hope, but right now, we do. If we manage to get to that base in LA and synthesize the cure, then we might be able to stop the newly infected from turning. At least for those who haven't turned yet. For the ones who've turned already, I don't know if this will work for them. We need to test this first before anything else. But we can't reveal this info to anyone else, not yet. We can't give them false hope. Not until we verify this info. And things might get complicated for us if those raiders get a sniff of it. They will definitely try to get their hands on it." I warned them.

"Do we know where this cure came from?" Lisa asked, curious.

"There are the files Jace found back in Kentucky when we were fighting that mutated Spiderman. It was Spiderman's last effort to save humanity before he turned into a zombie. He didn't have time or equipment to finish the cure. He wrote the instructions down for us to finish it." I explained to them.

"So, we need to go to that base and... Well, it's pretty hard to believe, but I'll take good news like this any day," Ange's voice came through the comms.

"Yup. And with some luck and research, we might just be able to create a permanent cure or something poisonous to kill every single zombie on Earth. I know it's a long shot, but we gotta start somewhere. And this is a good start." I told them.

"Wow! Ok. Well, we better keep this file somewhere safe," Jace suggested.

"Don't worry," I swiped my palm over the file, putting it into my inventory.

"Wow! How did you do that?" He asked surprised.

"One of my many powers. Anyway, let's move on to the final piece of good news I've got for you guys..." I told them about my powers and skills. In a normal world without Zombies, I wouldn't have shared this secret with anyone, but right now, if we were to move forward as a team, I need to trust them.

There was a pause... A few minutes pause as everyone's eyes are stuck on me as if I'm some endangered creature. I didn't blame them. This information would shake the very foundations of the laws of nature.

"Seriously?" Jenny broke the silence. "You can create a safe zone with your power and make it like no one can enter or exit without your permission and it can keep all danger away... No zombies can enter or humans for that matter? This sounds too good to be true. Are you sure about this?"

"I mean, don't get me wrong. A safe zone, really?" Tyger asked, doubt clear in her tone.

"Yes, I'm serious. And yes, I can create a safe zone. 12 hrs/day is my limit and I'm not so sure what this thing is, but it keeps me alive and wants me to kill super zombies. That cure, Shield's weapons, fighting mutated Spiderman, heck even the info on that safe base in LA, all that info was given to me by this thing. The risk is great but so are the rewards. If you ask me, it's as if God himself wants humanity to survive." I told them.

"Or a devil," Lisa mumbled under her breath, making me frown. She looks kinda worried.

"What?"

"Nothing," Lisa shrugged. "Just stupid thoughts. We all lost hope... We believed that this is God's punishment, you know... The big Judgement Day... But if what you are saying is true, then maybe, just maybe... We still have a chance. But I don't know, it scares me."

"Trust me, it scares me too. Who in their right mind would want to put their life on the line to fight those super zombies? But I can't avoid it. God or Devil, I don't know. What I know is that we are all still alive and stronger than anyone out there thanks to this thing looking over us. And if you ask me, that's a good thing. So, if this thing asks me to go out and fight zombies, then that's what I'm gonna do."

"So, what are you suggesting?" Tyger asked with a serious expression.

"Someone has to rise up and fight back. Someone has to lead humanity out of this mess and fight back against these zombies. I'm willing to take this responsibility upon myself. It may seem like suicide, but I think I need to do this. You know... After coming this far, I think I can do it. And I'll be glad if you guys join me in this fight. But, it's your choice. I won't force you to follow me. The journey ahead is gonna be even more dangerous than the one we took to get here," I told them everything, except for the fact that I can absorb those superpowers of the dead zombies.

"And if we don't?" Tyger asked curiously.

"Then I'll make sure to help you all reach that base in LA and give you the cure formula, and then I'll be on my way," I answered.

"Well, I for one am not gonna sit around and wait for death to come knocking on my door. I think I wanna join you. I'm willing to take that risk... I mean, what do we have to lose? If we succeed, then humanity survives. And if we fail, well, then we die trying," Tyger extended her hand toward me.

I smiled and grabbed her hand tightly and gave it a firm shake. "Glad to have you onboard."

"Well, gotta say, we are doing more than better ever since Boss took over. Food, water, action, and now safe zone power... It's been a fun ride so far and I plan to stick with you till the end. Count me in," Jace shook my hand next.

"You already know my answer," Ange's voice came through the radio. "Who will look after your asses if I'm not there?"

"Hah! Thanks, Ange. We are lucky to have you around. I knew I could count on you," I replied.

"Likewise, Boss."

"Family gotta stick together, right, son?" Lisa hugged me tight. "You know I'm always with you."

"Thanks, mom. I'm glad to have you all by my side," I hugged her back.

"What would you do without your big sis," Jenny lightly punched my arm with a smile. "Gotta make sure you don't get yourself killed out there."

"So, we all decided?" I looked at them one by one and everyone nodded in reply.

"Then you guys gather the group and break it down without revealing too much information about the cure. Tell them about my safe zone power. That should be enough to convince them. I'll go and do some more research on the cure and we are staying here for a few months till both of your wounds heal. So, make sure to take plenty of rest and leave the work to us," I glanced toward Tyger and Jenny.

Then, I activated the safe zone skill.

[Safe zone activated] I could see the 3d model of the area with the motorsports shop highlighted in green color. Now only me and others who I've marked as allies inside the safe zone can enter or exit the place. Everything else outside of the safe zone was painted red. I did a head count of forty-four people. Yup! Everything looks good.

"Oh, I just activated the safe zone. So, no one inside can leave nor anyone outside can enter. Break the good news slowly and tell everyone to rest up, ok?" I told them. "If anyone has doubts, try to go out of the front gate."

AN: Ending Vol-1 and pausing this one for the moment. Due to a lack of views, collections [1.6k collection, way too low], reviews, and powerstones, I had to take this decision. As for Vol-2: I'll stockpile the entire arc and then, I'll release it like this as a mass release of 10-20 chs together. Since I've started this, I'll give you all an ending. So, give me some time to get back to it.👍

Anyway, hope you enjoyed it so far.
