POV- Narrator

'Endurance training? That does sound good.' Velvet thought. "What do you have in plan?"

Faith smiled at her. He then brought out a piece of paper out of nowhere and handed it to her. "This is the schedule that you should follow everyday. I myself designed it and have modified it specifically for you." A hint of pride could be felt from his voice.

"First, where the hell did you get that from?! Second, how the hell did you already make a specific schedule for her?!" Coco screamed out.

"A man has his secrets that no woman should know. Anyways, are you ready Velvet?" He took it back before she could see the contents.

"But I haven't seen even the schedule."

"Don't worry you don't need to see it. So are you up for the task? Oh and don't worry, I'll do the training with you so don't be afraid. I'll help you out when you need it." He reassured her.

"I'm excited at what we would do!" She smiled happily.

Faith laughed ominously. "Yes... it's going to be exciting." He then looked at Coco and Yatsuhachi. "Do you guys want to join us? It's going to be like a group exercise."

They both agreed and continued on with classes. Nothing noteworthy happened throughout the day except a few whispers and weird looks Faith was given when he walked in the hallway.

'I guess words gets around quicker than I thought.'

The day was finished and they were all in their room. It was night and they were all going to bed. They were all sleeping when Faith opened his eyes. He soon left the room in silence to not disturb anyone. He quietly went to the tower and went to the elevator. While going there, he changed into his clothes while wearing his mask.

He went to the top floor without any hindrance as he passed through. The guards that were on duty let him go without any problems. He soon arrived at the top of Beacon Tower and was greeted with a welcome from everyone inside.

Ozpin, Glynda and Qrow were there waiting for him. "I guess I'm a bit late since even you're here Qrow."

Qrow sniggered. "Don't talk to me like that. You're making me look bad." His raspy voice was still the same.

Faith then looked at Ozpin who was looking outside the tower. "Are you going to tell me all of it now?"

Ozpin looked back to Faith. "Indeed, I will. Do you remember what I told you?"

Faith made exaggerated gestures. "You mean about the so called 'Dark Forces' that will threaten the world."

"That's right, there have been people that have been manipulating things behind the scenes. Today I'll tell you all about it." His face looked serious. "What is your favourite fairytale?"

"What?" He looked confused. 'Who the hell asks that kind of question to a teenager that is soon to be an adult? Nobody does that. Certainly not after that serious talk.'

"Your favourite fairy tail, you don't have one?"

"I was kind of busy being judged upon my race being a Faunus. I don't remember any fairytale." Faith scratched his cheek in an awkward manner.

"Well, have you heard of the 4 seasons?"

"I think I have but what is it got to do with anything?"

Ozpin ignored his question and began recounting the story of the 4 seasons. "An old hermit is visited by four sisters, who each in their own unique ways are kind to him; the first (Winter) by encouraging him to meditate and reflect, the second (Spring) by bringing him fruit and flowers as well as revitalizing his garden, the third (Summer) convincing him to step outside and embrace the world, and the fourth (Fall) by asking for him to be thankful for what he has. The old man gives the sisters great powers in return for their kindness, and the four maidens go through Remnant spreading their gifts." He talked as if he was reminiscing.

Faith narrowed his eyes at Ozpin. "You're making this seem as if they were real. To call me here and tell me some powerful maidens exist is too far down the line even for me."

Qrow took out his drink and snickered. "That's what I felt when he told me that. But I'll tell you that's it's true."

"So in your words, magic is real."

Ozpin nodded. "That's right. Qrow recently found out about an attack towards one of the maidens. She was heavily injured and part of her power was stolen. Specifically, the Fall maiden Amber. She was heavily harmed and is currently at near death. Atlas technology from General Ironwood is currently keeping her alive and stable."

"How does one obtain their power?" Faith inquired. He wanted to know about these powers. He wasn't that power hungry but the eyes was making him try to gain strength. And if he could obtain this maiden power then he will slowly grow more invincible.

Unfortunately, Glynda quickly crushed his dreams. "Unfortunately for you, the maiden's power can only be obtained through these specific rules.

1. You have to be a young girl. If you're a man or an old woman then you can't obtain it's power.

2. One needs to be remembered in that maiden's final thoughts. If that person is a man or an old woman then the power will randomly be transferred to someone else."

"Those are some dumb rules." Faith sighed. Qrow silently agreed with him.

"And we are protectors of these maidens. We have to let them live and not into the enemy's hands. Otherwise, the result can be catastrophic. What we need now is to find a compatible girl that will willingly sacrifice herself for this transfer."

"Isn't that a high requirement? Trust me, I'll never do that in my life even if it's for the world." Faith crossed his arms. "Well now that I think about it, would I sacrifice my life for the world?"

Glynda continued. "Faith, I'm telling you all this so that you can help us and prepare for a war. The enemy side wants something only the four maidens can open and those are the vaults. In each vault, a certain maiden can open it to have the item inside which is a relic. Each relic are powerful and if one falls into the hands of the enemy than that will be a devastating loss on our side. I won't go into too much detail but two gods one of light and the other of darkness made these relics representing an aspect of every human."

Ozpin then continued. "Spring has the relic of 'knowledge' and can access the Vault in Haven Academy, Fall has 'Choice' and can access the Vault in Beacon Academy, Summer has 'Destruction' and can access the Vault in Shade Academy and Winter has 'Creation' and could access the Vault in Atlas Academy."

Faith began thinking deeply. 'If what he said is true then if I can gain these powers myself, I would be an unstoppable force. But I know that it's not the limit. I need to awaken the power of my eyes but I wonder. I was reborn from a woman into a man. Does that mean that I'll obtain that power if I'm in a maiden's last thought?'

"We'll help you grow stronger and stronger just like we did with Qrow. But we want to know if you're in. If you aren't then you can just forget about what we just said." Ozpin said.

"Of course, I'm in." Faith agreed immediately. He wasn't going to let this chance go to waste. If he could gain power then he will immediately take it.
