Revealing Her True self

Her fall this time has caused a wave of panic in the hearts of Lin family. They used to restrain themselves in showing affection previously as Chujiu has an introvert and shy personality. Now they didn't bother to restrain themselves and started pouring all their love and affection.

Lin Yichen, the soft and warm-hearted third uncle, approached Chujiu with a gentle smile. "It's good to have you back with us," he said softly, his eyes reflecting a depth of genuine care.

Across the room, Lin Jianhong, the family's old master and respected grandfather, observed the scene with a mixture of pride and concern.

As the conversation continued, each family member shared anecdotes, stories, and words of encouragement. While their protective nature was evident, there was an underlying acknowledgment of Chujiu's determination to carve her path despite her perceived limitations.

As the evening wore on, the room resonated with laughter, stories, and a shared sense of purpose. While Chujiu's journey was filled with challenges, her family's unwavering support and belief in her abilities set the stage for adventures yet to come. 

Since she understood that the original soul is her own part and she is now a complete soul, it did not take much time to accept her identity. She now have all the memories of this life and her other modern life. She can use her previous life skills to compensate her loss of spiritual root.

But there is a question lingering her mind, she is poisoned and her family doesn't seem to be aware of it and they are also thinking that she had fallen in to the pond by mistake.

After a day of rest and nourishment, Chujiu felt a renewed sense of purpose stir within her. With determination fueling her steps, she made her way towards her uncle's study room, a place shrouded in mystery and privilege within the Lin household. The weight of her request hung heavy in the air, yet she knew it was a necessary step towards shaping her destiny.

As she approached the ornate doors, guarded by intricate carvings that whispered tales of the Lin family's legacy, Chujiu took a deep breath, steadying her nerves. With a gentle push, the doors creaked open, revealing a room bathed in dim light, filled with rows of ancient scrolls, war strategies, and invaluable treasures. The very essence of the Lin family's power and influence lay within these walls, guarded zealously by tradition and honour.

Seated behind a massive mahogany desk, strewn with maps and documents, was her uncle, Lin Shihong, the formidable head of the Lin family. His imposing presence was softened by a look of genuine surprise as Chujiu entered unannounced. Beside him, her aunt, Su Yingxue, glanced up, her stern expression melting into one of affection.

Upon entering the study, Chujiu took a moment to gather her thoughts.

She also wantd to include her Grandfather, she has already sent a message.

Grandfather just came in and sat in his chair.

Housekeeper Lin went outside and closed the door. He stood guarding the room.

She want to explain her situation.

"Uncle, Grandfather, aunt"… Chujiu started, her voice steady yet tinged with vulnerability.

Grandfather Lin saw her hesitance and opened up isolation array. 

She started explaining, "during my recent... incident, I had an epiphany. I remembered some details of my past life. And also some skills that I have in that life."

She explained her soul splitting and how she got fused and become complete now.

All the people in the study are shocked and it took some time for them to digest what she is saying. But they knew the world is full of mysteries. They are in the world of cultivation and people believe past lives but usually nobody remembers them.

Lin Shihong and Lin Jianhong exchanged a glance, sensing the weight of Chujiu's words. Su Yingxue's gaze sharpened and she asked, "How can you say that you are the same soul and not a foreign soul. You might have had memories of the body, how can you claim them are yours?"

She is protective of her people, young Lins are her reverse scale. So she wanted to confirm that their little jiu's body is not occupied by someone else.

Chujiu also knows about this and she had doubts before but not now.

"If a foreign soul is occupying the body, it takes at lease a few months to completely fuse with the body. Though the soul can have access to the memories, it is still easy to distinguish and you should have methods to identify such things."

"I am completely fused and all my emotions are fused, I don't feel anything foreign. You knew the previous me is introvert and always seems to be lost right?"

"I am not normal person in my previous life where there is no spiritual energy. All are common people, we only practised martial arts. But I was different, I was considered abnormal. Be it my memory, physical strength and skills, I was different from others."

"I also lack some emotions, I never knew certain things exist. For example, I never knew what fear is, what love is, etc."

"The other me also lack many things. After I got fused completely, only now I understood and could compare my both selves."

"You can test me out."

Chujiu held her head high and looked absolutely confident. She simply radiated with brightness and elegance.

All three of them can clearly feel the difference, the previous Chujiu always had her head held lower, doesn't have confidence to even meet her brothers and cousins. She is shy and has a withdrawn personality.

Grandfather Lin cleared his throat and said, "come here and give your hand"

He took the pulse and sent his spiritual energy into Chujiu to check her soul power.

After sometime, he withdraw his hand, stood up and pulled Chujiu into his arms.

"Welcome home Chujiu, you are now complete."

He always knew there is something wrong with his granddaughter but could not identify the problem and due to his love towards her, he conveniently chose to ignore the issue. For him, she is the most perfect.

Master Lin and Madam Lin are shocked for while and smiled wholeheartedly. They are truly happy for their niece.

Previously they were worried about her withdrawn personality, they did many things to improve Chujiu's condition but there was hardly any improvement.

Grandfather Lin had his emotions calm down and sighed with relief.
