Chujiu Confronts The Emperor

Lin Kai stood beside his brother like a dare devil and looked fiercely at the emperor.

It almost suffocated the him. He looked at all the people on the field, their eyes did not reveal anything but he understood that they might be laughing at him inside.

If he can, he want to kill Lin Shihong and Lin Kai a thousand times. But he had to calm down and not let the big picture disrupt.

So he finally relented, "Okay. I misspoke."

"But Lin Chujiu is my daughter in law after all, shouldn't she bow down to her father in law?"

Emperor still want to have a little edge and Chujiu seems to have been a soft target.

Chujiu is not someone who will allow others to bully her.

Chujiu stood up from her chair and came in front of her eldest uncle.

She did not wait for the answer and continued to declare her stand.

"Isn't it considered an incest? Isn't it a disgrace to our kingdom? how come you, as a responsible emperor do that?"

"As per our customs, blood relatives cannot have marital relationship. It is considered as an incest."

"Even if you can do that, we the Lin family will never bring disgrace to our Kingdom and hence I am unilaterally annulling this despicable engagement right now, right here and everybody here can be my witness."

"Our Lin family has always been the protection pillar and the pride of this Kingdom, we will never allow our East Pheonix Kingdom to become a laughing stock."

Lin Chujiu's voice resounded in the open area and everybody is speechless.

The very air crackled with authority as she spoke, her voice a melody that commanded attention and respect.

Emperor came back to his senses and understood that he is powerless in front of so many Lin family powerhouses. All of the Lin family sons and daughter in laws have higher cultivation than him.

They have 5 days and the team that collects highest number of beast crystal cores will be declared as winners and can a get reward of 3 million gold coins.

With a final exchange of words and a rallying cry of determination, the teams set off into the wilderness, their footsteps echoing through the forest as they ventured forth into the unknown. For the next five days, they would navigate the treacherous terrain, facing challenges and obstacles at every turn as they sought to prove their worth in the hunt.
