The Legacy Endures

For, after all, while Mei and her entourage journeyed through the Murim world, passing on knowledge about the Hidden Fist and extending all the help they could to whoever was in need, they did bump into a few silent pockets of resistance and shadows from the past.

In this village, Mei and her companions engaged in a fight with rival clans who, in their obstinacy, wanted to take up their land as well. Through their combined wisdom and martial ability, Mei and her companions became instrumental in brokering a peace agreement between the two clans with the common banner of cooperation and harmony.

In a different region, they discovered an ancient temple inhabited by numerous entities. Thanks to exceedingly dark spells, with bravery and ambition, they managed to clean the temple from being ridden by any influence and created it into a place that honored its glory—a treasure very much thanked for by the local population.

But even in those triumphs, Mei and her friends had had to grapple with their own moments of doubt and wavering confidence. In too many places, the road had worn them out—physically and emotionally—and left them wondering if it was possible to push on. Still, this unyielding focus held them together—as one, no matter what that strength may well come from: their bond of friendship or the teachings of the Hidden Fist itself.

In their sojourn, Mei and her comrades met other allies in whose hands they saw the dream of a new world. At every stop, they fetched like-minded people to join them in spreading the message of peace and enlightenment.

It was still the path ahead of her and her wards, extended out before them both, but it was a journey from which they would never turn away. In that world of Murim, where heroes were born and legends created, the legacy of the Hidden Fist would find an eternal dwelling place.
