Chapter 5

After the burly Awakened rock finished giving his boring speech which Mark almost dozed off halfway, they were each handed a communicator which also showed them where their dormitories were located.

Mark entered his assigned room and although not quite as big as his room in the mansion, it felt quite cozy.

He opened the closet and placed his clothes from the duffel bag beside the clothes that were given free of charge by the academy before sitting down on his bed.

'Time to check out my new toys.' Mark said before summoning both of his soul bound weapons.

Two different colored katannas appeared in his hands. One had a white seath with beautiful golden markings and radiated a heavenly aura. The other was bright purple like his eyes with the same golden markings but it radiated a destructive and hellish aura. Holding the purple katanna, Mark felt like it could cut anything.

"So this is the power of the cursed dual katannas Yama and Tushita." Mark said.

Using his (eyes of truth) attribute, he decided to check out the runes of Tushita first

"Hmmm, not bad, this sword is almost up to my standard.... Let me see if the other sword is worthy of me" Mark said with a serious expression on his face.

Description: The strongest sword wielded by the legendary samurai. Legend says that this sword can cut through to the bottom of hell.

Abilities:: [Displacement] [indestructible] [Evolution] [HELL] [locked] [locked] [locked]

Displacement]: Host can directly teleport to this sword if it is within a range of 200 meters.

[Indestructible]: This sword is unbreakable.

[Evolution]: This sword is capable of evolution of the right conditions are met.

[HELL]: This sword is extremely powerful and when it reaches maximum potential, it is capable of cutting through to the bottom of hell.

"Oi system, your basically giving me the same sword twice, that's scamming!!." Mark shouted but to his dismay, the system remained silent.

He figured out the system only responded to him whenever it felt like.

"Okay, enough of that, let's begin the real testing" Mark said with a smirk.

He unsheathed both swords.

Mark activated his [Armament haki] which coated his hands in a substance that first appeared to be jet black but had a bluish outline.

The [ Armament Haki] turned the hilts of the swords black with a blue outline but when it reached the blades, it weaved itself on them like a coiling snake.

His hands felt unbreakable and he felt his swords become like an extension his body.

Giving them a few swings, he felt them effortlessly cutting through the air.

Suddenly, he felt a strong urge to destroy. This was the will of the Tushita katanna after all, it was a sword that symbolizes hell and destruction.

But thanks to Mark's (overbearing will) attribute, he was able to override the will of the Tushita sword and completely subjugate it.

Sending the swords back to his soul sea, Mark decided to check out his armor/garment [Tyrannical Cloak].

Mark initially thought that it was just a cloak but when he summoned it, a dark grey long sleeved shirt plus black sweatpants with similar colored boots weaved themselves to existence on his body.

He waited for a few seconds but there was no cloak.

"Hey system, you better not be scamming me again, where's the cloak you promised."

[The memory has to forms of manifestation host, this is just the first form] System.

"Oh, so now you decide to talk to me. Anyway how do I get the second form"

[To access the second form, host should concentrate on the word cloak while summoning. Host should also note that all enchantments/abilities of the memory are weakened in the first form.]

Mark concentrated on the word cloak, and a beautiful black cloak with gold on the edges manifested. It reached down his knees while sporting a hood.

(think of the Eminence in Shadows cloak)

With a nod of approval, Mark dismissed the memory.

"Spying isn't a good thing you know." he said looking at a spot next to the door where a shadow was hiding.

He already knew Sunny was spying on him thanks to his [Observation Haki] but he didn't care.

The shadow left quickly and without making a sound after getting caught.

It soon returned back to the feet of its original owner who was still shocked by what he saw.

"That kid must be crazy, he even talks to himself. It will be better to stay away from him from now on.

Not even awakened rock had been able to sense my shadow but he casually did it."

Sunny said before continuing his spying activities. But he made sure never to let his shadow go close to Mark.
