Makar Nagash

A strident earthquake-like noise reverberated through the air as the world tree sprouted from within the confines of the dungeon. Lu Ye, who had been traversing the small realm jungle following a battle with a demonic bear, scanned the surroundings with a heightened sense of foreboding.

Persisting in its resonance, the noise heralded the emergence of a colossal tree, towering above. Its leaves and branches extended to blanket the sky, a dazzling display of green, red, and black foliage set against pure black branches.

"What the hell is that behemoth tree?!" exclaimed the survivors, their voices a chorus of disbelief.

Simultaneously, as the tree ceased its rapid growth, another mysterious phenomenon unfolded. The sky shifted to a surreal pink hue, and the air crackled with an unsettling energy. From the cracks, aglow with a blend of black and pink, various landscapes materialised, creating an otherworldly spectacle that left everyone in awe.

Still in the dungeon, Dobroslav sensed a change and adjusted his hand signs. Finishing his new technique, he shouted, "Open!" Xia and Pajojo, not understanding the details, stayed quiet, trusting Dobroslav. With his recent triumph over a demon lord, they felt secure under his leadership.

Meanwhile, at Lu Ye's location, a massive portal suddenly opened, revealing a vast, lush scenery. However, what sent a shiver down Lu Ye's spine was not the abrupt appearance of the portal, but rather the ominous sight beyond it. Countless orc soldiers stood ready, armed to the teeth. Some rode wolves, others mounted huge lizards, and a few even piloted mysterious, massive machines.

The beat of war drums echoed, signalling the commencement of a formidable march toward the entrance to the new world. In unison, the orc army shouted, "Death or victory!" Lu Ye, witnessing this intimidating spectacle, grinned like a madman. "Death or victory?" he bellowed, matching their fervour. With a mad smile, he charged headlong toward the approaching horde of orcs roaring "Death or victory!".

The portal through which Lu Ye charged into the orc world was not an isolated phenomenon. Numerous portals, as if by design rather than coincidence, led to the exact same orc-infested realm. The horde, like a relentless tide, surged through these portals, swiftly overwhelming the small world. In a matter of moments, they captured everyone unfortunate enough to be near the portals, leaving chaos and confusion in their wake.

Amidst this turmoil, Dobroslav and his group remained unaffected, standing untouched as the horde orchestrated its swift and efficient takeover. The small world echoed with the tumultuous sounds of the orc invasion, a stark contrast to the eerie calm surrounding Dobroslav and his companions.

Dobroslav completed the spell, and the tree bark, under the influence of his magic, contorted and reshaped itself into the form of a portal. This was no ordinary gateway like the small ones the orcs had used; it stood as a colossal and stable structure, towering over 10 meters in height and spanning 4 meters in width.

In contrast to the smaller portals, which seemed almost like void cracks rather than true gateways, Dobroslav's creation concealed the mysteries beyond. Unlike its counterparts, this expansive portal kept its secrets hidden.

Dobroslav gazed upon his creation with a satisfied smile and declared, "Preparations are done."

Pajojo, taken aback, exclaimed, "You were planning this all along?!"

Dobroslav chuckled in response, "But of course, my dear Pajojo. Did you think that I could have orchestrated everything so smoothly without any plans?" His laughter echoed through the space, revealing the strategic mind behind the seemingly unpredictable sequence of events.

"And now, onto the last part of the plan," Dobroslav said with an ominous smile as he turned around. He placed his arms behind his back and began to walk a few dozen meters.

Pajojo, puzzled, asked, "Where are we going?"

"Nowhere," replied Dobroslav, a cryptic tone in his voice. "Not yet, at least," he added.

"Then what are yo..." Pajojo started to question, only to be interrupted by the ominous sound of thousands of footsteps closing in on them. "Too many!" he shouted to Dobroslav, panic creeping into his voice. "Way too many!"

Dobroslav turned his head back, his expression exuding confidence. "Wait for it," he said with a smirk. "It's gonna be legendary," he added, a mischievous giggle escaping from him.

Xia, despite her unwavering trust in Dobroslav, couldn't help but feel a tinge of fear as the sound of thousands of approaching footsteps grew louder. The impending orcish army stirred a sense of unease within her.

However, Dobroslav remained composed, standing still as the horde closed in. The orcs approached, getting nearer and nearer until, in a remarkably short time, a formidable orcish army stood before him. Among them were average orcish soldiers, wolf riders, and some adorned in robes, evidently magicians. At the centre of the assembly, a distinctively green-skinned orc with eyes glowing a menacing red stepped forward.

Suddenly, he knelt on one knee, and the rest of the orcs followed suit. In unison, they cupped their fists and proclaimed, "Hail to the Dragon Emperor!" The unexpected display left Xia and Pajojo confused.

With an evil smirk, Dobroslav roared, "Makar Nagash! Victory to the brave!" The orcs enthusiastically shouted back the exact same words. "Genjuros..." Dobroslav addressed the green orc, "Order your warlocks to stabilise portals throughout this realm. Soon, it will collapse," he added.

"Are we going away? What about the clan?" Xia suddenly inquired.

"Don't worry about the clan. The orcs won't harm them," reassured Dobroslav. "We're starting a new branch in another world, anyway," he added with a wink, causing Xia to blush deeply.

Pajojo sighed. "Hah, leave flirting for when you're alone, please."

Dobroslav turned once again towards Genjuros. "You can stand up now," he said with a solemn demeanour. "Go tell the warchief that when he goes through that portal above the hill, he'll be inside the base of the strongest force in the world, so he needs to go prepared. Meanwhile, I'll take this army of yours and go through this portal. Join us when you're done."

"Yes, master!" Genjuros cupped his fist again and swiftly disappeared into the horizon. Simultaneously, Dobroslav commanded, "Orcs! Follow me! We are going to ravage a new world!" With Xia, Pajojo, and a multitude of orcs in tow, they charged toward the portal with a resounding shout on their lips: "Makar Nagash!" The echo of their fervent declaration reverberated as they plunged headlong into the unknown realm beyond.
