Chapter 15-After the party.

I woke up screaming.

A boy was next to me.

I was half naked.

I was in a bed.

I was In a bed with a boy, half naked. My gawd!

The boy groaned and turned his body to face me. I gasped, watching in horror as Izaak sat up, rubbing his eyes sleepily.

"Why did you scream?"

"You're- I - Why?-" I stuttered, pulling the duvet closer to my chest. My eyes welled up with tears and I turned my head to him, asking in a weak voice.

"Did we...do it last night?" I asked, and his eyes widened. Oh my gawd. " I'm not a virgin anymore?" And I burst into more tears.

"Whoa whoa whoa." The bed shifted and Izaak was in front of me in a flash. He knelt in front of me and cupped my cheeks, his expression giving off fright and confusion.

"Stop crying. Nothing happened last night."

I frowned. " We didn't," -hiccup- "we didn't "-hiccup-

"No, we didn't do anything. You were drunk out of your mind last night. I couldn't possibly take advantage of that and sleep with you. I'm not that kind of guy, Fayth." He said with an austere expression on his face. My face brightened and the tears were all forgotten. I rubbed under my eyes to dry my tears.

"Promise?"

The corner of his lips tugged up a bit, then he nodded. "Sure."

Thank heavens!

"But why," I frowned again in thought. "Why am I almost naked? and here? with you?" I was curious to know. Izaak sighed, moving his kneeling position and sitting beside me, leaving an appropriate distance.

"Well, you were drunk alright. I brought you here so you could rest, but then you kept telling me I should stay here with you and you started crying and I just couldn't say no. Then you tried taking off your clothes and no matter how hard I tried to stop you, you were so god-damned stubborn. I managed to tuck you in bed ten minutes later but you still didn't let me leave so I sat next to you until you fell asleep like you requested. I don't know how I fell asleep as well and how I ended up laying down though. But I assure you, we didn't do anything." By the end of his narration, I was flushed with embarrassment. Thank heavens I had a dark skin, I would've been tomato red by now.

"Oh my gawd." I buried my face in my hands and felt like crying all over again. But this time, with humiliation.

Did I really do all of that? Oh gawd.

"I'm never drinking again."

"Good." I removed my face from my hands and met his gaze. He was staring at me with amusement. Once again I was drawn to his dark orbs and I couldn't look away. I stared into his eyes and he stared into mine. Then I came back to my senses and looked away, biting my lip and feeling dragonflies in my belly.

"Dad is going to kill us." I groaned as Aarin and I settled at the back of Matteo's car. I rested my head on the car's headrest, exhausted. My head was pounding and that was driving me crazy.

"Aunt is going to talk our ears off. Oh gawd." Riri groaned as well. Matteo sighed from the front and increased the speed of the car. We drove in silence, listening to the podcast playing on his radio. Two people were talking about the recent increase in price of food stocks and petrol. We arrived at my home in less than twenty minutes and sluggishly made our way out of the car and into the house.

I'm so dead.

"Fayth Desirae Ikeoluwa Martins!" My Mother and Father were already waiting for us in the living room. Uncle David was also present. The three stood with their arms crossed and scowls on their faces and I suddenly felt the urge to vomit.

So dead.

"Look at the time you children are coming home! What did we tell you yesterday?! We specifically said you should be home by 8! Is this 8pm to you?!" I cringed, folding my hands into a fist as I felt Aarin and Matteo hide behind me.

"I'm so sorry, Mom and Dad,we didn't plan to -"

"You're grounded." Dad interjected. His voice was hard and cold and it sent chills down my spine.

I'd never seen my father so angry before.

"And you two have twenty minutes to pack your things and return to your various homes." He addressed the cowards hiding behind me. Riri made a funny sound and Matteo bobbed his head up and down vigorously.

"Yes sir,"

"We're so sorry, uncle."

Dad shook his head at us." Twenty minutes. Fayth, you're not allowed to leave this house unless you're going to school and church. You're not allowed to watch TV or use your phone and you're to do all the chores for the next month." My eyes widened. what?

"Yes!" Mother exclaimed, backing up her husband. "Give me your phone." She outstretched her hand. I gulped, taking hesitant steps towards them and shakily placing the phone on her palm. I took a step back but Uncle David suddenly grabbed me by the arm and.... sniffed me?

"You smell of alcohol." He just had to open his big mouth and say. My mother gasped and my father's face couldn't be any more scarier.

"WHAT?!"

"FAYTH DESIRAE MARTINS, YOU TOOK ALCOHOL?!"

«I hate you so much right now, Uncle David. So much.»

"R.i.p." I wanted to give Aarin a dirty slap for mumbling that, but she wasn't far from wrong. I was as good as dead now.

"I-I," I stuttered. "It was just one cup, I promise! Just one small cup."

"I cannot believe this!" My mother exclaimed again. She looked furious.

"You really disappointed me, Fayth." Dad said to me with a stoic expression. " You promised you'd do better. You're basically back to square one again, aren't you? This time worse." He shook his head and walked off. No, Stormed off.

My heart sank as I stared at his retreating form.

It's been forever? haha. I'm so sorry. updates will be weekly
