Chapter 17 - Omotesando Station

Third person POV

Later, they went to Omotesnado Station to exterminate those vampires. Again, Atsushi sensed the aura of the vampires below. As they went down the stairs, Yuichiro and Mitsuba tells Atsushi to stay behind the lines; this time, they mean it.

"Okay, I promise," Atsushi responded with a promise.

The Shinoa squad seems to have forgotten his Aura ability.

When they arrived there, they got ambushed by some vampires so they fought back. Atsushi, however, stayed behind the lines, as promised. Despite that, he never felt being left behind by them.

Instead, he knows the story and decided to go with the flow, but with some changes.

Then, he was called to help out, and he did, drewing out his sword and ran to fend off one of the vampires.

He used his skills to fight, and his mountain spirit gave him some strength to activate his Aura power.

Every time he activates his ability, Atsushi's eyes turns blue, and it goes back to normal once the ability deactivates itself.

It did the trick, and that vampire seemed to be overwhelmed by his strength and skills.

The Shinoa squad sees this, and were amazed by his power.

"That again..."

"What was that?"

Later after that, they are now at one part of the city, and one of them attempts to revive a vehicle by trying to create a spark with two wires.

Outside, Yuichiro and Yoichi commented Atsushi's strength and skills at that battle.

"Yeah, thanks, guys," Atsushi replied.

"Where that ability came from?" Yuichiro asked.

"Yeah, it was out of the ordinary," Yoichi commented.

"I don't know." Atsushi shrugged, hiding the fact that he has a mountain spirit within him. "It suddenly went to me last time."

Yuichiro and Yoichi gets what Atsushi said to them.

Then, later, once the vehicle was revived, Yuichiro and Atsushi were amazed with enthusiasm.

"Man, that was so cool, Kimizuki-kun!" Atsushi commented.

After that, Yuichiro give it a spin, and ended banging it instead, much to Kimizuki and Atsushi's shock.

"What are you doing?" Atsushi responded to this.

Then, Shinoa stepped in and tried to drive, but she was too short so she couldn't see the windshield.

Yuichiro and Kimizuki then laughed at her height, causing Atsushi to say, "Guys, it's not funny at all."

And then, Shinoa responded back with her weapon.

Upon seeing that, Atsushi gets out to avoid getting involved.

Later, going back to Shinjuku, Yuichiro said to Kimizuki to not make fun of Shinoa's height again.

Atsushi, who was sitting in the far back, then thought, "That what happens if you make fun of Shinoa's height."

His mountain spirit then responded with agreement, "Yeah, that was rude of them, Atsushi-kun."
