Chapter 247

Roselle sat quiet listening to the adult’s plan; the heavenly realm was not somewhere anyone could just visit without gaining permission. Though they were immortals but she, Lylic and Selom were always very curious to know how the heavenly realm would look like. When they were skills they would always fantasize their stay in the heaven realm. Now they were mature enough but it was not safe to go back home.

Clara had to be very careful dealing with her visit she had a lot plans with the two old men, after all they were experience than she was. They had experience more of this than anyone else. As for Elyrex his plan was actually very different, the rarest herbs they needed for Selom’s treatment could only be found in the demon realm and he knew the best place to find it.

He never thought a map he had kept for years would come in handy, this was actually the out sketch of the demon clan, this was a map nobody had, and it only existed in a unique form. It wasn’t just an ordinary map, it was more like a little elves which would give out direction if one seems lost. He had been away from the demon clan for over a hundred years so h had to say if anyone would be lost, it had to be him. But even at that he was still the best man for the job, the plan was to get the necessary items needed then, they would meet up at the heavenly gate entrance when the time is right.

It was now schedule that they would leave the human realm in a month’s time, Clara had thought about sending a message to her friend Tina but she wasn’t sure if she would be getting the message and it was only right they get in contact with Beatrice before leaving. Beatrice and Tina were siblings; they had more connection to themselves than anyone else. When choosing the part and the role to play in the heavenly realm everyone chose 6the brightest part. Immortals could wipe up human memories and they had the power to create whatever story they wanted, this was the same case with the immortals that landed in the human realm during the war. They immediately found good places to place themselves and also found good family to; after all they could overwrite human history since they could live more than a thousand years. They didn’t have to bother changing their identities over and over again this was because all mortals would die at a certain age living the new generation would arise, this same new generation would also grow to a certain age and then they would leave the human realm as well. This is how the circle would keep on going and nobody would be aware of their existence. There are always a million people who would bear the same name, the name Clara, Teresa, Roselle, Lylic and Selom would still be alive and live on to the same name. No human would find it strange, because their existence was limited.

After the whole discussion Teresa could tell that the old man wasn’t happy with something “Dad, is there something wrong?” she said sounding very concerned.

“There shouldn’t be” he replied “For how long have I been away?” he said looking seriously at them

“Dad, is anything the matter?”

“You’ve been away for three month, I think. The last we saw you was at the batch house” Roselle replied looking at the old man. She knew he was up to something for sure.

“Own, that was when I had treated you poison right?” he asked keeping the whole room in suspense

“You were poisoned?” Both women shouted in horror

“You didn’t know this?” Blaine said looking at them strangely, if he had recalled properly, Selom had spent about three days with her sisters and that was the same day he got the news of her pregnancy. How could they not know about such a fearful thing?

“Dad, I won’t be asking if I had an idea about it would i?” She said turning fully to face Roselle “How come I am hearing of this now? You girls kept it all to yourselves right? I am sure your mom knows nothing about this. Dad what is really going on?”

“I just want to know how long it has been since I have spent time with you girls?” he said looking at them

”Dad you are scaring me” Teresa said with a frown

“”Grandpa, it has been over a hundred years” Roselle replied

“It seems so” He said with a smile, this made the people in the room very quiet.

Blaine knew what he was up to; all he needed was to pay her a full visit now. Moving out of the room he headed straight to Selom’s room. This was just to be sure t5hat he had sensed things properly. Teresa, Clara, Roselle and Elyrex followed behind. They wanted to see what the old man was really up to. Going into the room, he was shock to see Skeleton cleaning up. “Where did they go?” he asked

“Who?” he said looking at the people present in the room.

“Should I help you remember?” he said with a glare.

“No not really, if you are asking about my master, she has gone on a stroll with the other mistress. They could be in the garden somewhere” he said busying himself with the cleaning.

Roselle hearing this gave a smirk and immediately left the room, things was no longer fun. She didn’t have to be told anything; she was already so use to her sisters disappearances. One moment they would be around and in the next moment they disappear into thin air.

“Garden?” He asked looking at the man. Who did he really think he is? Raising up his finger it flickered immediately and Skeleton got a terrible hit. This was something he wasn’t expecting at all, he had known this was coming from he didn’t weigh the gravity of it at all. Now he understood what both the mistresses meant by their words, he had actually underestimated the old man. Now just by the hit he understood the relationship between his master and this old man. Wiping off the blood from the edge of his mouth, he had no choice than to apologize to the old man. All the old man had on his face was a look of disgust.

“Dad what is really up with you?” Teresa said with a frown

“Is it really me or is it that Selom and Lylic are not here?” Clara said looking around.

“That’s true “Teresa said looking around. No wonder the old man was upset “Dad, you are really something, you would definitely get used to it. There was once a time Selom was gone for like two days straight. We search everywhere for her and she was nowhere to be found”

Elyrex couldn’t stop himself from laughing; this was more like adding fuel to the fire. He could already sense the old man’s anger. “Dad, you shouldn’t try whatever you have in your mind” Teresa said glaring at him. Really she knew what the old man was really up to. For all his girls he had something implanted in them, he could find them out in a jiffy if he really wanted to.

Blaine was left with no choice than to follow his daughter’s words, he didn’t want her to be angry but he couldn’t help but be worried. “What if something bad happens to them?” he asked with a depressed tone

“You don’t have to be worried dad; they would take care of themselves very well”

“I am still worried, I could as well check on them to make sure” he suggested

“No way, they would find their way back home. Let them have fun “Clara said with a smile. After she was done talking, she left the room. She had a lot to worry about, she had to contact her son and tell him about her plans and she also had Beatrice in mind. It has actually been a long time since they had seen each other under a good meal and knowing Beatrice very well she wouldn’t have the time to meet up with them. She was always very busy with human affairs. Just like she and Teresa coming to the human world they had chosen the part of being a doctor, after all they were physicians in the heavenly realm, so they would become the best doctor ever on earth. Beatrice on the other hand was used to handling human affairs; she was known as the goddess of rain and nature and would always visit the human world. During the war, Beatrice found it very easy to settle down on earth in a family, all she did was interfere with the records, after all she had the power to.

“Tell me dear, how long you have been together with my son? “Harley said looking at Lylic with admiration

“(Coughs) been... with you son?” she said sounding shocked. ‘I haven’t been with your son, I just love his dishes’ she said in her thoughts, she couldn’t say those words out loud, and it wouldn’t sound nice. Selom reading her thoughts couldn’t help but chuckle all she got from Lylic was a terrible glare. She immediately swallowed her thoughts.

“Yes, I can see that both of you are in love” she said with a smile

Phil and Lylic were about drinking their juice when they spilled it out immediately. It was so sudden that they both started coughing. “Here, have some water” Selom said passing her sister a cup of water. Her face was filled with smiles; she was indeed enjoying the scene.

Now this was serving one a hot plate of soup, she never insisted coming over at Phil’s place Lylic had been the one who insisted, now she would be stuck with the show for sure. Phil couldn’t explain himself; he could tell his mom was really very happy with what ever it is she was thinking about. But what could he do? He wasn’t in a relationship with her.

“Is there something, you both are not telling me?” she said looking at them. She had just met the twin girls and she had to confess she had a liking for them immediately. This was actually the first time she had seen her son mingle with women. Her son was one of the most decent men she knew ever, he was always running away from the opposite sex and from the look of things she could tell that he really had something from Bianca. Though she felt he was trying to hide his feelings, but now she was trying to give him a way out and make things more easier for him. She had feeling that he was yet to confess his feelings to this beautiful lady and she knew he wouldn’t do that anytime soon, all she prayed for now was that he would let her help him.

(Coughing)”Ma’am I think you got this all wrong, we actually done have a thing for each other. We are not dating; we certainly are not lovers at all. What I mean is that we are not in a relationship together” Lylic explained. Hearing this, Harley and Flin were very disappointed. Phil could also see the disappointment on their faces and he became displeased. Lylic words surprisingly hurt his feelings. Selom who was an overseer in the whole issue had something off her sleeves. How on earth could she let such an opportunity pass?

“Is that so? Why are you shy? You have told me you like him didn’t you?” Selom said breaking the awkward silence

“Really? You like my son? I am thrilled “Harley said with her face full of smiles

“Auntie, if you like my brother there is nothing to be shy of you know? I think my brother likes you to” Flin replied with a smile, it seems she was very happy with the news Selom had given. Lylic on the other hand cared less, she was someone who doesn’t want to cheat others and she would definitely not cheat herself. She couldn’t help but glare at Selom “YOU are dead meat, i will kill you for sure” she said through a mind link

“Darling, you love to spice things up, I am just giving you taste of your own medici9ne”Selom said through a mind link

Seeing Bianca glaring at her twin, the rest of the people saw it as Bianca being embarrassed but this wasn’t the case. The two sisters were actually at war with themselves, Lylic was glaring while Selom was smiling, “Darling, I liked you from the very first moment I set my eyes on you” Harley admitted with a sigh of relief, she was happy you know that the feeling was mutual. “Both of you would make a very good couple “she continued

“Speechless’ “auntie, I don’t want to disappoint you but what my sister just said now, is not the truth. I really do not have any feeling for your son and I am very serious about it. I don’t know what she is talking about trust me” she said glaring at Selom. She would take all the dirt while lying down. The game w already on, so she could bring it on, she was fully ready for whatever it was.

“Darling, we all know you like him. You came all the way to see him not caring about me. You know how difficult it is for a pregnant woman this heavily pregnant to be moving around but you didn’t care. You dragged me all the way here” Selom said with a sad tone. Her voice was so convincing that Lylic was beginning to believe the story line herself. “Did you or did you not drag me all the way here?” Selom asked sounding very serious. She knew Lylic well enough she would not lie about it.

 Now Lylic was in a dilemma she knew what Selom was up to, she was trying to make things very difficult foe her. She was now in a tight spot any response she gives out would place her in more trouble. What then would she do? There was nothing more to say “I have no feeling for him at all, you should not believe her words at all” she would not give an answer to the question, this would save everyone from getting hurt and also from misunderstandings.

“That is not the answer to my question honey”, “Did you or did you not?” Selom said with a smile, she picked up her glass of juice and took a sip.

“So shameless” Lylic cursed, it was once Roselle’s turn to suffer; now it was her turn. The tables are now finally being turned. It was now a fight she had to fight till the end, now she regretted bringing Selom along.
