Hoopa is a Big Boss

"Hupa? Is this Pokémon yours, Fuji?" Anko asked curiously, looking at Hoopa, and then aimed the Pokédex at it.

In the world of ninjas, many creatures can speak, so Anko wasn't particularly surprised that Hoopa could talk.

"Drip~ Hoopa (Confined Form), Psychic/Ghost type, Mischief Pokémon.

Ability: Magician (Steals the opponent's held item when it hits them with a move.)

Moves: Hyperspace Hole, Trick, Destiny Bond, Skill Swap, Psybeam, Astonish, Magic Coat, Light Screen, Psyshock, Dazzling Gleam...

Confined Hoopa is in a form that limits its power, making it appear smaller. It uses its spatial rings to move things around, especially to prank troublemakers. It stores its favorite things in a secret location using the rings, and it can teleport through them. Hoopa is a legendary Pokémon."

The mechanical voice of the Pokédex echoed as Anko, Kurenai, and Naruto listened closely.

Hearing the information from the Pokédex, the three were momentarily stunned and turned their gazes to Hoopa in disbelief.

"Hee-hee, isn't Hoopa amazing?" Hoopa said proudly, grinning as it noticed their surprised expressions.

"Wow, Hoopa! You know so many moves—like twenty or more! I can't even imagine learning that many techniques," Naruto said enviously.

At this stage, Naruto's ninjutsu repertoire was still pretty limited. He only had the Transformation Technique, Substitution Technique, Clone Technique (which he barely managed), and the Sexy Jutsu—a total of three and a half techniques. Seeing that Hoopa could use so many moves made Naruto envious.

Someday, he thought, he'd master over twenty jutsu, just like Hoopa. Naruto secretly vowed in his heart.

If Fuji could hear Naruto's thoughts, he'd probably chuckle. While Naruto would indeed go on to learn many jutsu, he would mostly rely on just a few—like Shadow Clone Jutsu and Rasengan—to make his mark in the world.

"So, Hoopa is a legendary Pokémon... it sure sounds powerful!" Kurenai remarked.

Anko, on the other hand, wasn't going to let it go so easily. "Wait a second, why does Hoopa have so many moves? My Snivy knows only five, and Naruto's Vulpix has just four! Hoopa's move list is overflowing! It's like our Pokémon are Genin, and Hoopa is a Jonin!" Anko teased, wrapping her arm around Fuji's neck.

Naruto nodded enthusiastically, clearly agreeing with Anko. His Vulpix and Anko's Snivy felt like novices compared to Hoopa, who was clearly operating on another level.

"I didn't play favorites with Hoopa! It was born this strong—it's a legendary Pokémon, after all. Hoopa is one of a kind," Fuji said with a grin.

"That's right, Hoopa was born amazing!" Hoopa puffed out its chest, arms akimbo, thoroughly enjoying the praise.

"And don't underestimate Snivy or Vulpix. They've got incredible potential," Fuji added. "While they may not compare to Hoopa in terms of raw power, they're certainly stronger than you, Anko." Fuji smiled slyly.

"Excuse me? Stronger than *me*?" Anko raised an eyebrow. "I'm a Special Jonin!"

Anko was confident in her ninja skills, and she figured Fuji, not being a ninja himself, didn't fully grasp the difference in power between a Pokémon and a skilled ninja.

If Fuji knew what Anko was thinking, he'd probably laugh. He knew very well how strong she was—but he also knew just how capable the Pokémon could become.

"What, are you saying that Hoopa is stronger than Anko *right now*?" Kurenai teased, enjoying the playful exchange.

"No, no, that's not what I meant," Fuji waved his hands, noticing Hoopa's eagerness to prove itself. "Kurenai, don't stir things up. It's not necessary."

As a Legendary Pokémon, Hoopa's power was comparable to a Kage-level ninja. It was certainly stronger than Anko, but Fuji didn't see the point in having them fight. It would only expose Hoopa's strength, which wasn't needed right now.

"See? Kurenai, you're just trying to cause trouble between me and Fuji!" Anko said, immediately turning the tables on her friend.

Kurenai chuckled, covering her mouth. "Where's the lie? You two always bicker, even without me around."

"Che, who'd be happy arguing with him?" Anko huffed, letting go of Fuji with a faint blush on her face.

Hoopa: So, are we fighting or not? Hoopa is super strong!

Naruto: I don't know what's going on either, but this is pretty funny, right, Vulpix?

Vulpix: Vulpix!

Snivy: Sniii-vy, sniii-vy.
