Amanda's POV
To get back to Remy, I did a lot of preparations. The first thing was to dye my hair.
The change in hair color would immediately make a visual difference. If a person who was a brunette suddenly went blonde, they would stand out in a crowd.
The second change was about my face. I looked in the mirror and adjusted my usual expression. Boldness and wildness were my true character.
I had been using foundation to cover a very shallow mole on my nose. Including the mole, those prominent facial features could not make me appear to be tender and elegant. I could finally reveal them.
I was both brand-new and familiar in the mirror.
It was the old me, the one Remy didn't know.
I was never gentle, and I did not want to compromise. Remy was the person I loved, and I hoped that he could belong to me alone, just like I used to belong to him.
