Chapter 10 – Escape

Danilla was still surprised, especially since she was declared pregnant. She also asked to marry her boss. But, she refused.

"We have to get married tomorrow!"

"Like it or not you have to marry me! Because, my future child is in your womb."

All the words said by Kiano danced in his memory. She also felt that her former boss was too much. Along the way, Danilla felt that someone was following her. When he looked, there was none.

Along the way the night atmosphere was very cold and eerie. She also heard voices that could raise the hairs of her neck.

"Damn it where am I? Am I lost huh?" mumbled Danilla as she reached into the pocket of her pajamas. Unfortunately, he couldn't find her cell phone. "Oops, I forgot to bring my cell phone. When I went to the mini market yesterday, I accidentally left my cell phone at the boarding house. Oops. What is my fate now? Where's the night too!" Danilla complained along the way wearing only pink polka dot pajamas. She felt that the cold night made the night even more tense.

"Hey, beautiful! Where are you going?"

"Don't get too close!" Danilla shouted driving away a bunch of thugs at the end of the street.

"It's beautiful to accompany us-we'll make you warm," the thugs began to lick Danilla's body.

"Damn, that thug!"

"You guys want me to booge!" Danilla glared with a clenched right fist, she also still remembered the martial arts theory that Akbar had taught her.

"Well, friends with us. We'll satisfy you later!"

"Don't be like that! Do you want me to scream!" Daniel snapped. "Hah?" Danilla's eyes bulged, but unfortunately the three thugs still teased her. Until laughing.

BRAKK!

Danilla was surprised, she saw Kiano was hitting the three thugs. She looked at Kiano's face which was covered with anger.

BRAKKK!

BRUKKK!

BRAKKK!

The impact shot so fast that the three thugs ran away. Meanwhile, Danilla just stared like she saw an action movie. She also saw that Kiano really looks like the main character in a drama whose hobby is fighting.

HEEM. Kiano cleared his throat, breaking Danilla's daydream.

"Fortunately there is me."

Danilla is still ignorant and squeamish. "I didn't ask you to help me."

"You have no gratitude. I have helped you."

"Who asked to be helped," snapped Danilla with a cynical look.

"I'll help you if you don't. You will fall prey to those street thugs."

Danilla turned his face away. "This is what you want, you don't want me!"

"Darn you! Good thing you're a girl."

"What's wrong with women, sir? Do you think women are weak, only men are strong?" said Danilla. "As long as you remember, that woman is able to give birth to a baby boy or girl at the risk of her life! They are never weak! Men should see the strength of women, not see their weakness!" Danilla protested. "You were born from a woman!"

Kiano was just being cold. "You are smart to find excuses!"

"I hear you, if you take care of me! My ears are not deaf!"

Danilla stepped back again, but Kiano grabbed her right arm to prevent her from leaving.

"What the hell, sir!" said Danilla.

"You don't have to be fussy if you're a girl!"

"What do you care father?"

"I only care about the future child in your womb, not you as the mother."

Danilla wanted to curse with harsh words. She felt her life was not as free as before.

Kiano also carried Danilla without consent. Until Danilla continues to rebel, because she doesn't want to go back to Kiano's house. She also doesn't want to marry, not to the man she loves.

Danilla was put in the car, then Kiano started the engine and drove the car back to his house.

Danilla was annoyed with Kiano's attitude. "I swear it's because of this world's ex-resek boss. Makes me unable to meet Mas Akbar and ask for an explanation again!" squeaked Danilla in the heart. She found it difficult to get that opportunity.

"Isn't it obvious!" cursed Danilla in the car.

Kiano just glanced at Danilla whose face was sullen. He also felt strange about her, because usually women were fascinated by what he had so far. But, why is it only Daniela who is not fascinated by him.

"I will make accept this marriage. Because that is my future child!" thought Kiano as he drove his black jeep fast.

"Master Rei?"

"Why are you still here?"

"Wait, Kiano, Mas."

"He might come home. Maybe she's the same mistress."

"Mas Rei, why say that?"

"Ra, you should open your eyes! Kiano can't possibly change, especially since you've been married for five years, but he's never touched you in the slightest. What kind of marriage are you in?"

"Vira believes in Mas Kiano. And, Vira believes that God is turning people's hearts upside down. Maybe one day Mas Kiano will be in love."

"Ra, don't get your hopes up. I memorized Kiano's rock-like attitude. It's useless to get married just to be a wife on paper Kiano."

Vira smiled, "Perhaps, this is a marriage test between Vira and Mas Kiano. But, Vira is sure that everything will go well."

Reihan also looked at Vira, he knew that actually Vira was not as strong as she seemed. In fact, he always caught Vira crying alone on the balcony of her room. He felt very uncomfortable to see it.

"Vira, say goodbye first, Mas."

Reihan nodded.

"You are too kind, La. Why did Kiano never see the sincerity of the love you gave him, Ra?" muttered Reihan who was still staring at the shadow of Vira's back. "You deserve to be happy, not to shed tears."

Reihan was still sitting outside the house enjoying the starless night. The sky is only blue. Only the moon decoration is visible. He started daydreaming about everything. Before that reality came into his life.

"I didn't think that in reality we were just friends. Even though we used to be that close," Reihan muttered.

Reihan also remembers that he used to be close to Vira before the woman was introduced as his cousin's future wife. He had felt a broken heart until he had to go to another place to heal his broken heart until it was injured.

"Why must love come so late?" Reihan muttered under the moonlight.

Reihan did not expect that he had to witness the marriage of the woman he loved the most with his cousin. In fact, he had to live with them. How devastated Reihan was at that time.

"You should live with me. Because I will wipe all your wounds and tears into a smile in the frame of happiness," said Reihan in the silence of the night covered in the remaining wounds. "Why is this so heavy, my God?"
