Tyler was in the middle of Bible study with Janice when Kayla enters the room with her baby in her arms. Ty felt his breath stops as he looks at the small bundle in her arms. "He's finally here." He whispers letting his breath out slowly. "Can I see him?" He asks, trying to control all the emotions that were running through him as Kayla approaches the bed. "When was he born?" He asks touching the baby's tiny fingers. "A week ago but your family wouldn't let me see you." She said pouting.
She gave Janice a hostile look to let her know she wasn't welcome in the room, she was hoping the stupid girl would take the hint and leave so she could be alone with Ty but Janice just leans back and fold her hands across her chest indicating that she wasn't going anywhere which made Kayla even more furious.
"When are they going to release you?" Kayla asks. "I'll be going home tomorrow, so um….am I ….his father?" He asks smiling down at the child. Kayla shakes her head slowly and he felt a sharp pain ran across his chest. "He's beautiful." He said handing the child back to her. "Ty I'm so sorry, I never meant to hurt you; I just panic, you're a very good doctor and I knew that sooner or later you would've figured out that the child wasn't yours and then you would've left me and I didn't want that." She explains and glares nastily at Janice who had just snorted.
"Baby that's the only reason I….." "You're not really trying to justify taking the life of an innocent child are you Kay?" He asks cutting her off and folding his fingers in a fist which didn't go unnoticed by Kayla. "I'm sorry baby but I didn't know what else to do." She cried. "You could've told me the truth and let me decide what to do or you could've trusted me to stand by you or better yet you could've chosen to be faithful to me." He snaps.
"What is she doing here Ty? You're not planning on replacing me with this are you?" She asks angrily but Caleb enters the room before he could answer and the look he gave her was a hundred times more hostile than the one she was giving Janice.
"You've three seconds to leave this room before I wring your damn neck," Caleb said in such a cold tone that it sends shivers down Kayla's spine.
But she stood her ground because as angry as he was at her she knew he couldn't hurt her not here, not in front of Ty. "You want me to stay don't you baby?" she asks Ty.
"Goodbye, Kayla," Ty said without looking at her. "But… baby….." "You heard him, now get out." Caleb took a step towards her and she jump back, sidestep him, and walks briskly from the room. Caleb turns back to his brother and saw that he was crying so hard that his entire body was shaking. "Come on Ty, don't let her upset you like this again please." He pleads.
"You warned me…. I… just…oh God….I prayed so hard….I….prayed so hard." Ty cried as he fight to control his breathing, Janice and Caleb looks at each other with concern in their eyes and Caleb took out his phone and was about to dial his father's number when he walks into the room. "What's going on?" He asks rushing to his son's side.
"Kayla was here, he knows that the child isn't his," Caleb explains. "I'm so sorry son, I wish I could have spared you this pain, I tried for a week but it still wasn't enough." His dad said rubbing his back. "Oh God this hurts father, it hurts, I feel like someone is twisting a knife in my chest." Ty cried. "A part of me knew that there was a chance that I might not be the father but I wanted it so badly….that I never stop hoping… never stop praying." He cried breathing heavily.
"Alright, I'm going to give you something to help calm you down." His father said reaching for his medical bag. "No…. no more drugs…. please…I just need a minute." He said with a shaky voice.

Trisha enters Kayla's living room and saw her friend pacing back and forth with her cell in her hands. "Still no answer?" Trish asks. "No, it has been two weeks Trish what am I going to do?" "Don't start panicking just yet maybe Brandon will still come around," Trish said taking up the baby who was screaming at the top of his lungs. "He took everything Trish, he isn't coming back, I need my car back Trish, what am I going to tell Ty when he finds out that it's gone?" She cried.
"God I wish this kid would shut up already.' She screams covering her ears. "Maybe he's hungry; I'll make him a bottle; so, any idea who his father is yet?" Trisha asks. "No but I'm still getting money from one that couldn't make it to the hospital, maybe he's the father but I can't mention a paternity test to him so I'll never know for sure but since Brandon robbed me blind I really need the help right now," Kayla said brushing her long hair.
"I love the fact that I'm getting money for him but I really don't want him; he's annoying and he's beginning to get on my last nerves." She said flopping down on the sofa. "Wait a minute, if he's bringing in money maybe you should keep him," Trisha said and Kayla rolls her eyes at her.
"I'm quite capable of getting money on my own thank you; I don't need the baggage or the hassle. I just need to figure out what I'm going to tell this guy before I give him away." "Do you think he's just going to let you give away his child?" Trisha asks. "I don't know Trish, all I know is that this kid is driving me nuts and I have to figure out a way to get my car back before Ty finds out it's gone," Kayla said in frustration.
"I'll never understand why you choose to live so dangerously," Trish said feeding the baby. "Look who's talking; you're the one working in an exotic club," Kayla said. "Trust me that's child's play compared to what you're doing." Trisha snorts. "Speaking of which, what's going on between you and Tina? I thought you two were friends." Kayla asks.
"We were until I realized just how disgusting she is, she tried to get my boyfriend to sleep with her and when that didn't work she began spreading nasty rumors about me at the club," Trish said angrily. "Then she began stealing my stuff at the club but what pushed me over the edge was the fact that she took one of the new girls to a private party two weeks ago and left her there and the girl was raped by three men, she was supposed to watch over her but instead she left her there," Trisha said shaking her head.
"Needless to say the girl quit the job after that and now I learned that the men that rape that girl was all Tina's friends; she set that girl up to be raped and I don't need friends like that," Trish said with scorn.
