Chapter song: Better by Khalid
"Nothing feels better, nothing feels better than this…." Ty sings and dances as he and Janice walk toward his vehicle. "You really like that song now, don't you?" Janice laughs. "Nothing feels better, oh yeah, and dancing to it was so much fun." He laughs as they got in, close the door and fasten their seat belts.
"You guys did have a lot of fun." She chuckles. "You know right? Epic party, which we knew it would be, seeing as though it's Christian's and that guy knows how to party." "That he does, as Scott says it was lit but on the other hand, Samson is a minister so maybe we shouldn't ask him to dance these seductive songs anymore." She sighs.
"I mean he's good at it but…." "Don't worry, I got it and you're right, we should tone down on the type of things we involve him in. so um…. You'll be going back to school in two days after your little break, are you ready for that?" He asks in concern.
"Yeah, I think I am. The doctor says the baby is okay, growing strong and I feel okay, so yeah, why not?" "The guy that is still out there, we still don't know who or where he is," Ty said in a worried tone. "True but the truth is, I'm so tired of waiting for something bad to happen, I just want to live my life, a normal life where I don't have to worry about anyone coming to hurt me.
I mean on one hand, there's Kayla, then there's the fact that Maya doesn't like me anymore because she thinks Caleb is too close to me, then there's this man, there are threats coming from everywhere even within our own family, and I've never done anything to anyone, baby I'm so tired." She said sinking deeper into her seat.
"I feel you kitten, I'm so worried about all these threats, I can't even sleep well sometimes but I know for a fact that God will fight all our battles for us, so yeah, you're right, lets just put our lives in God's hands and live our lives." He said squeezing her fingers.

"I saw you give her that bag of peanuts, I can't believe you're still friends with that child." Andrea fumes. "Are you really going to bring all that bitterness from last year into this new school year?" Scott asks with a groan.
"You blew us off for most of last year because of that child and why? Because her family has money? Please." Andrea snorts. "I have no interest in her money," Scott said in a defensive tone.
"Yeah, so you say but put that aside, you're in grade ten now, you should be dating and exploring your sexuality…." "I'm going to stop you right there, I've no desire to explore my sexuality, not now anyway." "You can't hold onto your virginity forever Scott." "Is my virginity bothering you, Andrea?"
"No, but….." "What, you give yours away because you couldn't wait and now you're obsessed with mine?" "I didn't give anything away I am still a virgin, it's on reserve, especially for you, how long are you going to make me wait Scotty?"
"Yeah right, keep telling yourself that but don't forget that the guy you choose to give your body to ended up spreading it throughout the entire school the very next day, which is on you, you should have waited until you're old enough to handle the responsibility of losing your virginity." He said in a serious tone. "Ugh, you sound like my father." "Good, maybe you should start listening." He said walking away. "Don't make me wait forever, Scotty." She laughs.
"God, give me strength, this is going to be a very, very long school year," Scott says with a groan.
