Chapter 124 Mob boss

On his sofa sat the exact same man he told his family wasn't a good idea to align themselves with. The man that looks scary enough to wipe his entire family out then stops to have a drink of wine before leaving the scene of his crime. The boss of all mob bosses was sitting in his living room and what's worst his baby sister was sitting right next to him.

Were these people out of their damn minds? Didn't they see who they were entertaining, I know this dude is well strapped, wha…. "Oh, hi son. This's my second oldest Caleb." His mom said smiling at him. "Come join us son." She said patting the space beside her. Caleb walks to the smaller sofa that was right in front of the man and sits down, all the while glaring at the man.

"Um, Anna could you come over here and sit beside me," Caleb asks and she frowns at him. "What for?" "Now Anna." He said in a stern tone and she reluctantly got up, walk over to him and sit down with her papers. He then glances over at Janice to let her see his displeasure when his sister asks to be excused, got up, and drags him with her.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" She demands as soon as they were in the other room. " Me? You people are the ones entertaining mob bosses. I told you all about him and still here he is sitting in our living room." He sneers coldly.

"No offense brother but you know nothing about that man. He's not a mob boss. He's a child of God and he's going through a rough time with his wife and we're trying to help him sort through it." She explains. "Why am I not surprised that his problem has to do with a woman but no problem, he's a good-looking dude he can have any woman he wants, hell, he can have ten if he wants, so problem solved, now he can leave." He said turning to head back into the room then stops and turn back to her.

"Janice invited him here didn't she?" He asks narrowing his eyes at her. "No, we ran into him yesterday and we had a short conversation which we told mom about and she invited him here so she can get to know him better so we can best figure out how to help him." She said.

"Help him with what? Do you see the man that is sitting in there?" He asks pointing towards the room. "The only thing he needs help with is counting his damn money and…." Oh shut it, Caleb." She snaps.

'looks can be very deceiving, I'm telling you, he's not who you think he is, now I'm going back in there and if you can't be civilized then I suggest you go find something else to do because all that glaring is making the man uncomfortable." She said and turns to leave.

"And why were you sitting beside him?" He asks grabbing her wrist. "I'm almost twenty years old numbskull, I'll sit where I please. Now shoo, you bother me." She huff and walks back into the room.

After a few minutes, he was about to walk back into the room when he heard the man saying he had to leave so he head outside instead and stood beside the vehicle he now realized must belong to the mob boss himself. Even the vehicle looks like something a mob boss would drive and no doubt these glasses are bulletproof. He thought looking at the vehicle suspiciously.
