Are you done?

Charlotte was taken aback by what Olivia said.

"This new attitude won't get you anywhere, girl. It would only bring your downfall. Looks to me like you're possessed. Listen to yourself. You're talking about yourself like it wasn't you." Charlotte said, feeling pissed.

"Host, for going out of character, I've decided a punishment for you." Darling said in an authoritative tone. She sounded pissed.

Olivia didn't know who to laugh at, first. Was it a bunny talking about punishment, or the woman that's making her palm itches.

Olivia felt like Charlotte would be granted some palm marks, if she wasn't careful today.

Charlotte wasn't done though.

Olivia was about to talk, but seeing the woman opened her mouth, she decided to see how far she would go. Perhaps she's craving to be beaten up.

"I will take it that you're stressed over something. Based on what you said, I apologize for threatening you, but I think we've talked about this.

I only want the best for you and you were proving stubborn. I admitted that I was wrong, but you shouldn't talk to me that way.

It wasn't easy getting you those roles as well. If you ask around, most new artists without connections didn't get it easy like you're doing.

It's either connection, your body or being lucky.

Emma, let's not go this lane. We've been doing fine all along." Charlotte said in a serious tone.

Olivia wasn't an idiot.

She knew Charlotte meant well, but it was because she knew that Emma's potential would get her far, which would be an honor to her manager.

She wasn't wrong, because there's no harm in being ambitious. It's not like Charlotte wasn't doing anything. She was indeed working hard.

She wasn't right either, because she had the motive of controlling Emma. And also, Olivia hated her because she was pretending to be a good person that picked Emma from the dirt.

If she was really nice, she wouldn't just watch Emma lifting the goods by herself and getting insulted by the store owner.

It wouldn't kill her to help her lift it, yet she just watched.

Well, Olivia would have done the same, if she were in Charlotte's shoes. She knew herself well and never tried to portray herself as a good person.

She's not good and doesn't want anyone near her, but Charlotte was playing both sides.

Seeing that Charlotte admitted to being wrong and apologized, Olivia relaxed her mind and let the urge to slap her vanished.

"Apology accepted." Olivia said and Charlotte couldn't help but look at the woman in front of her again.

She wanted to believe that something was wrong with her. Perhaps she's not Emma, but Charlotte has come across lots of people in her life.

She knew how people can pretend well. Some only humble when their pocket lacks cash.

She knew they were moving towards success in a fast motion. After this movie, things would change.

Brian is more than a star. He's an inspiration. People want to be like him. A lot of people liked him.

If his fans witness him killing a human being, they would find fault with anyone, except Brian.

To them, he was perfect. He was never wrong.

If you try to frame him, you're a villain.

If you try to trick him into scandal, you're a seductress that's taken advantage of their idol.

She had witnessed the commotion under Sammy's fan page. Sammy's fan has no idea it was all Sammy's assistant plot.

They were returning the insults of Brian's fans, which only keeps getting out of hand.

Sammy was getting the backlash, because despite how Brian's fans were insulting her, her own fans directed their insults at Brian's fans.

They didn't insult Brian at all, while she was getting called all sorts of names.

If they didn't stop it and let it get dragged too far, Brian's obsessive fans might try to hurt Sammy, to get back at her fan.

The genius among them were already claiming that Sammy was jealous that she wasn't the female leading and planned to badmouth the lucky one, which has turned on her.

Everything has gotten out of hand, which led us to Emma.

Her fans would skyrocket now, because they would try to support her to make Sammy realize that Brian had chosen well.

Charlotte knew this was a good opportunity. Sammy helped without meaning to.

Of course, she knew that Sammy was behind it. 

After this movie, Olivia would have the same chance that Sammy has been having. People would want to see her partner with Brian again, in the future.

Even if Olivia was being insultive, Charlotte was mature enough to not exchange banters with her. 

At least, not for now. They really need to work together. Fighting each other wouldn't help at all.

"What?" Olivia asked, as the woman kept staring at her.

"Let's talk in my car." Charlotte said and Olivia didn't argue.

Olivia listened to her words. She had helped her secure a project. She would be endorsing a perfume brand company. They just launched a new cologne and they also deal with jewelry making.

It was a new company, but their products were doing well so far.

Charlotte left the agency a while ago to meet with the CEO of the company. They didn't plan to choose Emma, because she wasn't popular, but after seeing the file that Charlotte tendered, which proves that Emma was about to act in a movie with someone they dream to have endorse their product, the man agreed immediately.

They have tried their luck on Brian, when they first started the company, but Michael rejected the offer. It didn't even get to Brian's ear.

The pay would be pretty good and there's an opportunity to secure a long term contract with them.

This is the start. None complained about Emma's look or shape. Aside from that, Charlotte was capable of manipulating other requirements.

She knew she chose a star.

Well, those were her own thoughts.

Olivia yawned.

"Are you done?" She asked.

"Yes." Charlotte wondered why she seemed uninterested.

"Well, I'm not interested in being a clown." Olivia said, making Charlotte's heart skip a bit.
