A morning present

   "Who are you?" I took all courage to ask him.

He smiled broadly. "You are just like I've heard". He moved closer to me and I involuntarily took steps backwards as my back hit the wall.

He smiled satisfactory "no running dear. I mean no harm." He moved so close that I could feel his minty breath on me as he placed his right hand on the wall preventing me from running. I looked straight into his eyes and noticed they were sea blue in color and held a lot of meaning. His eyes felt familiar but I couldn't decipher where I saw them.

He looked at me in a lustful manner but my courage was no where to be found.

After gathering so much courage and strength, I pushed him and luckily for me he moved.

I was about running as my room was just opposite the hall but he grabbed my wrist forcefully and pulled me into his chest. "Guess you'll really be a feisty one".

He smiled and removed my mask. I tried to hide my face with my palms but he removed them forcefully "wonder why Coker has to hide such a beauty. Anyways you are mine". He smiled lustfully again and to my greatest surprise I wasn't angry as I was supposed to because I believe I'm not a property to be owned.

He looked at my lips and then to my cleavage. I cleared my throat signaling I was not comfortable with the way he was looking at me. He smiled shamelessly.

I decided to start a conversation "guess you smile a lot".

He smiled again "you wouldn't say so if you know me well".

I decided to speak again when everywhere went silent "can I see your face since you saw mine".

He looked at his watch and smiled "Sorry baby not now. I almost fell for it with your beautiful voice but nope not now".

I pouted and took my mask from the floor and put it on.

"Oh don't be such a baby. Look we are going to be seeing each other often without masks and as I've said earlier, you are mine so you definitely own my face".

That was I realized he has been making the statement that 'I'm his'. What does he mean by that. I furrowed my brows and was about asking when he checked his watch and spoke "sweetheart , I'm sorry but I've to go now. I hate lateness. If I knew I would meet you I would have come earlier. Now do me a favor before I leave hmm". I nodded involuntary "now close your eyes sweetie". He placed something round my neck and raised my hair up and placed it down gently then he whispered into my ears "happy birthday sweetie".

I opened my eyes and looked down at my neck only to see a beautiful necklace but something attracted me to it. It was the pendant. 'This is a royal diamond which cost a fortune. How can he give me this? How does he know my name?'

Before I was able to take down the information, he kissed me and placed a substance into my mouth. "I'm sorry sweetie but you can't know about me now".

My eyes began to go dim and darkness took over me.
