Esther took a long road trip before going home, she believed it would serve her better so after that, she went home. Preparing herself to sleep, Andy called her;

"You are not going to believe whatever is happening with me"Andy shouted, the last thing Esther wanted to hear was any other person's story so she ensured to sound so sleepy so Andy would let her alone, at least for this night. Her body was tired but it was nothing compared to her soul.Her heart was inching and after hanging up on Andy, she cried herself to sleep. "Stupid me! How did I end up like this?"she would force a smile but It was far from her own self.

In the night before the release of LOW_KEY.

Esther was at her house for the whole day and in the evening exactly by 8pm. Andy called her. "How does it feel to spend days without talking to me"Andy asked. "Come on... I've been resting for all those days, gladly I am out of bed for now"Esther said. "girl. I've missed you"Andy said. "how about I come over?"Andy added. "Hell...Noooo" Esther shouted. "it's late"Esther replied. "Okay, girl. tomorrow is a big day"Andy said. "Your star is going to shine"Andy added. "You see!! tomorrow my best friend is going to be known all around the world. I wonder if we will hang out anymore!"Andy smiled. "hey... there is no Esther without Andy, always remember that"Esther said. "That's my girl"Andy cheered. "So, I didn't tell you what happened with Derrick.. Ooh my GOD! that guy is taking over me"Andy said. "Ohh my goodness, am I hearing correctly? my baby is in love" Esther exclaimed.

in that very instant, Esther heard a knock on her door, she was in a short and a crop top, in slippers and her hair was a mess, She was preparing a dessert ( something she always does whenever she is free) and she was still on the phone as she run to the door, "Andy, you don't need to rush, take your time"She said over the phone as she Hold on the door and pulled, to her surprise; she stepped back, her heart beat fast and she trembled before she would mention. "Luc"She murmured.

"What?? Luc, what is he doing there"Andy asked in high voice, "Girl, talk later"Esther said as she hang up the phone.

"Sir, why are you here?"She asked. "am I welcomed inside?" Luc asked. "Yeah sure!"She said as she gave him a way and Luc entered. "The last time you've been here, you refused to come in and now! I literally forgot that you know my place"Esther said with a smile. "How are you?"Luc asked. "I am fine. please feel free to sit"Esther said. "You live in this whole house alone?"He asked. "Yeah!"She replied. "You sure are The Divan"Luc smiled. "Am I interrupting anything?"Luc asked. "Not really! I was making a dessert and it's almost finished"She said. "Okay"Luc replied as he sat by the sofa, "So, why are you here?"She asked. "shouldn't I pay a visit?"Luc asked with a smile. "Ohh that's my honor really! let me just remove my dessert from the oven. it will take a minute, I am coming"Esther excused as she run to the kitchen and returned in five minutes with a well prepared velvet dessert. "Help yourself"she said. Esther couldn't really understand what's wrong with Luc. He seemed so desperate but she didn't ask him. she knew if there was something she must know, he will tell her.

"do you have a comedian romance drama we should watch?"Luc asked. Esther was confused. "Seems like you are not planning to go home"Esther commented. "Unless you chase me out"Luc laughed. "Well I have one from 90's"Esther said reaching on her smart television and picked the remote control and searched for the movie. "I will just bring some snacks"She said but before she goes toward the kitchen, Luc held her hand. "Don't bother, the dessert will do. please sit here"Luc said, Esther was really shocked, As he pulled her and made her sit by his side on the long sofa. He lay his head on her shoulder. "I am tired"He whispered, Esther couldn't move. she lend him a shoulder and comforted him using her hand on his head. "It's okay"She said. The movie started and the two stayed like that for some more time. "tomorrow is a big day in your career"He said. "Thanks to your effort"She replied. "I really wish I can see your first day as a celebrity"He said. Esther couldn't understand what he meant. Luc rose up from her shoulder and stared in her eyes holding her hands. "thank you for being part of my life"He said. Esther couldn't believe it's the same Luc who was there. "with you I learnt something for the first time in my life"He continued. "I learnt Love"He continued. Esther's heart beat so fast, she knew this time she won't escape. "I love you Esther"Luc said. "With my life, I love you"he continued. Esther's eyes was filled with tears, she couldn't understand if she was happy or sad, her mind kept denying but her heart wanted more to this. "I wish you can be a woman I can take care of, for the rest of my life"He said, this time, his voice was so dizzy. "Luc, what's going on here?"Esther couldn't help but tears fell from her eyes. "You are scaring me"She said, Luc held her cheeks and starred into her eyes, he came a little more closer and kissed on her lips, he then hold on her head and then lay her In his chest. "it's okay Esther"He said, "But I am not perfect, you deserve someone much better"Luc said seriously but tears were watered In his eyes. "Luc..."She wanted to make him understand how perfect he is for her but Luc seemed to not wanting to hear that. he covered her mouth using his left hand. "Give me this night! don't speak. just listen" He said. Esther rest herself in his chest as Luc kept telling her. "When you get there; your life will be like a show, everyone will say whatever they want on your life. always stay strong, don't be blinded by the spotlight, remember to live your life. And love yourself more, rumors will always be rumors and they will always be there.be a great and brave woman as you always been. I believe In you......Look in my eyes"Luc said. Esther rose her face and stared at him firmly. " Next time in this industry, if you meet other men like Luc Gustavo, please stay away from them, those guys always doesn't have a choice between a woman they love and a woman of career."He said. Esther was still in a shock. "I believe you will find a better man who will love and cherish you with every breath of his life"He said. "Can't you be that one for me?"She asked in a very low voice but Luc still heard her. "Esther, I am not the man you can wish to spend forever with! I know it's with my Selfishness that I fell in love with you"He said. "Luc"She called him and he stared in her eyes. "Why are you telling me this?"She asked. Luc removed his hands from hers and watched the television. Esther focused on the television and for almost five more minutes, everyone was silence. "I am shifted to Brazil and I will take Wendy for our engagement"He said. Esther couldn't believe what she just heard. "What are you talking about?"She asked sarcastically. "Esther, I really didn't have another choice"Luc tried to explain but Esther was Angry. "you were right! why did you tell me about your feelings just now? you really are selfish"She shouted with tears in her eyes, "Esther, please don't cry! it Hurts to see you cry"Luc said trying to comfort her with a hug and Esther was fighting to avoid his hug but he was stronger so she surrendered. "I am stupid why am I crying? you weren't mine In first place"She forced a smile but tears were too much to hide. "I am so sorry! I am so very Sorry"Luc would murmur in every little minute. "pleaseeee don't cry"Luc said and Esther stopped crying. "I couldn't go without telling you my feelings for you but I didn't expect it to be so tragic. I am sorry. okay?"Luc said wiping the tears that was flowing on her cheeks. "when are you going?" she asked as long as she calmed down "Early in the morning, only Derrick still got time here, like a month"He said. "Wendy's father will stay on the headquarter"He said. "So, He is the one who is In charge of everything here?"She asked. "The main shareholder of EM ENTERTAINMENT. we both got shares there so we made lots of agreement for us to be where we are now"He said. "Like which?"She asked. "rest, I know your evening was long. please sleep, don't bother with our battles"He said allowing her head to rest again on his chest as he keep brushing through her hair with his hands and kisses in her hair. "I am afraid I won't see you when I wake up"She said and she seemed worried. Luc didn't say anything, he just would touch onto her hair and comfort her.
