Chapter Two Hundred Forty

Siegfried exhaled heavily after Blaze and Theo left. It feels too heavy. He then removed the plate of food in front of him. He's lost his appetite now. Yvan, who sat next to him, could only pat his shoulder and stand up.

He turned his head and saw the figures of his parents walking towards them. He sighed as he put away the plate in front of him. The atmosphere has now turned quiet and awkward. Oh, they didn't expect that they would come to this picnic.

"Uncle Arthur. Aunt Ysa," Yvan said.

Arthur smiled. "Ah, sorry if Uncle came suddenly." Then the chairman of the Lowells Group looked around but couldn't find any children. "Where are the children?"

"Oh?" Yvan glanced at his cousin, who didn't even greet Arthur or even glance at Ysa. "They went to see the swans with Seya. But what brings Uncle here?Anything to talk about? When it comes to work…"

"Not a job, Yvan." Arthur then looked at Siegfried.
