Chapter Forty Six

Blaze woke up and realized that they were in the rest area. The car engine was still running, but he didn't see Siegfried anywhere at all. He unbuckled his seatbelt and stretched a little. He glanced at the digital clock on the car dashboard.

"It seems I slept for quite a while. Why didn't you wake me up?"

He then saw the figure of Siegfried walking towards the car with a plastic bag. The man opened the car door and was surprised to see that he was awake. Siegfried climbed in and closed the door again.

"You are awake,"

Blaze nodded, "Just now. Why not-"

Siegfried handed the plastic bag to him. "You must be hungry. Eat it."

Blaze put the bag on his lap and looked at the contents of the bag. The man bought some snacks, two rice boxes, and a few bottles of drinks. He looked at him, "Two boxes of rice? You haven't eaten yet?"
