Chapter 7

--Sapphire--

Somehow I don't wanna talk to my brother because I know they'll ask me why I am with the new girl.

But then Wither left me with them. How mean…

The twins and Reven are standing up, scattered in the room but they're not too far from each other. While Zach, Lucas and Justin are still sitting down in their seats. All of them are looking at me.

"What is it?" I asked my brother Reven as I went near him.

"Who is she?"

"Huh? Didn't she introduced herself earlier? She's Wi-"

"We know that already" Reven interrupted me, making me frown a bit.

If they know her already then why are they asking me that question?

"How did you know her?" I looked at Zach who suddenly asked me.

"Oh she's my roommate, we met yesterday" I smiled as I remembered how I had fun inside her room.

Uh…that doesn't sound right…

"What's with your smile?" I smiled widely at Reven when he asked me.

"You know what? She's awesome. Have you seen how she melted the sudden ice in her foot earlier?! She did it like it's the easiest thing to do on earth! When I know even you guys took 3-5 minutes to melt it or whatever! No offense" I said as I grinned widely at them.

"None taken" Wade behind me answered. "We were also surprised at what she did earlier"

"I'm also very flattered at how she protected me earlier while we were on our way here. She walked like there's nothing wrong. Even I wouldn't notice it if I didn't felt it behind us. I never had a friend like her. She's so awesome! And strong!" She's clearly happy with Wither. The way she's so excited and the way she smiles, it tells it all.

I even saw my friends look at each other because of it.

" And then in our dorm last night, if only you saw it! She has so many gadgets I swear! She even bought an extra table for them! She also has these huge speakers and something like a mini piano on her desk. It's really awesome! Last night we had a little jamming in her room and I really had fun!" and now she started jumping a bit. Even my friends are smiling at her. She looks like a kid talking about her favourite story.

It's been so long since she told us something like this. She became quiet as we grew up and I know it's because she thinks that she's weak and the bullies are also saying that she's weak compared to me. I once got involved in a fight because of that.

It's because it's totally not true. I know that she has a potential. It's just that, it's yet to be seen by all of us.

I'm so happy to see her like this though. It's like the joyful and happy Sapphire came back.

And it's because of Wither…

"Hey Reven!" I looked at Hade as he called me. "Sapphire already left a few minutes ago!"

"You look stupid smiling alone there" I glared at Zach at what he said.

"Sorry I just remembered something" I said as I rolled my eyes at him.

"Sapphire said earlier that Wither has many gadgets" Justin suddenly said.

"Looks like Wither's family is rich." Lucas said as he close the book he's reading.

"I still can't forgot Zach and Wither's fight earlier!" the twins then laughed so loud after that.

I joined them as I also remembered the fight. It's really funny, the one and only Zachary Deon Deinsford is roasted!

I laughed more at what I thought.

I just looked at Justin and Lucas as Zach started running to the twins when they ran away after laughing so hard.

We all just shrugged at each other while smiling to ourselves..

As I was walking around the school I noticed this school is really huge as heck. Walls are still scarlet colored with dirty white tiles and ceiling. I even passed by a hallway full of training rooms. It's obvious they practice their abilities/powers in those rooms since it's almost empty except for a few gym equipments and benches. Then suddenly someone called me from behind. As I turned around I saw that it was Nicho so I stopped walking.

"Hey! So how was your first day?" he asked when he reached me. We started walking again as I thought what to answer.

"Bad" I answered not long after

"Well that's okay, you're still adjusting here... I heard you fought with the president"

"Yeah, he even gave me a very pleasant welcome earlier. It's so pleasant that I would've been late if I'm weak"

"Well I can't do anything about that. Besides, I know you can handle yourself. Just please keep in mind that you have to hide some of your abilities/powers"

"You mean most of them? I even have to control myself when I use those abilities/powers that they already know,so that I wouldn't reveal myself." I rolled my eyes at him.

He sighed at my retort "Yes most of your powers. Look, I'm sorry about this but you really have to keep it hidden. You know how dangerous it is if everyone knows about it."

I just nodded at him because I know he's right.

It just pisses me off. It would really be wonderful if I can reveal myself.

I can show everyone that they should not mess with me. And who I really am. I

I've been isolated my whole life, I don't talk too much. They say I'm a creep and because of that they bully me at my previous school. Even there I can't reveal myself because they're humans and most of them doesn't believe in us.

I thought when I transferred here I could finally reveal myself and be free but it obviously didn't happen.

At least I can use my fire power tho…

"I have to go now, take care of yourself" Nicho said in which I nodded again and he's gone afterwards.
