(8) Kidnapped!

3RD POV

Kireina was playing with her friends in the nearby forest right outside the village. Their secret base you could say; Just a place they found a few month back.

"Found Ya!"she said popping out in front of a brown haired girl, swinging herself on the landing in front of the brunette

"Awh you cheated" the girl retorted

"and how would I" The Uchiha female retorted back with her hands on her hips "Will you stop being a sore loser now, will ya Mika. this is hide n' seek there's no way you could cheat in that." she chastises

"hm. I guess so" Mikasa cocked her head thoughtfully "hey, its getting late we better get home, our parents are probably wondering where we are" Maka points out

"Yeah, I just hope we don't get in trouble." she replied

A light rustle of the leaves then Tamaki hoped down from a tree "so does that mean the game's over?" she questioned, I nodded and said "that means I win"

"I guess, I mean its getting dark we better get going." Kireina said simply, Maka nodding in agreement 'Papa's gonna kill me for being so late, for sure.' The raventte thought 'not to mention I blew off my studies today'

as we were wandering back to the village I felt something bit odd, I just though it was the anbu who hung near these parts so I just brushed it off. little did I know I was wrong

"...Your lucky" Maka starts as we started to walk back to the village

"how?" I questioned putting my hand behind my head lazily

"you have not only one, but two big brothers" she states

"yeah but they can be overprotective sometimes" she scratches the back of her neck bit embarrassed like "but I guess that means they really care" I chirped with a small smile

"Yeah, but they're really cool." Tamaki commented

"you, and every other girl would say that." I retorted as Mika chuckled a bit

we took a shortcut through the forest Parkouring through the tree's lower branches.

"C'mon you slow poke" Mika taunted, running ahead of us

"slow poke" I huffed, running after her.

"Wait! guys-" I heard Tamaki call out

Back flipping onto the branch above me diving down, tackling my brown haired friend. "got ya!" I cheered victoriously as we laid on the grassy floor. suddenly the two heard a faint rustle from the trees above them.

"what was that? did you hear that?" Maka questioned, lifting her head in a sudden alertness. I followed her gaze and caught a glimpse of a shadowy figure lurking in a high branch, suddenly he disappeared and suddenly reappears behind us, quickly knocking out the brunette who was a few feet away, I got out a kunai but before I could comprehend or even get a glimpse of the mysterious person darkness came over me.

TAMAKI'S POV

"C'mon you slow poke" Maka taunted and ran ahead of us

"slow poke" Rei huffed, running after her.

"wait! guys-" I called out, rushing after them, but the two were far ahead. I let out a sigh and chased after them "Uchiha" I muttered to myself

I caught up and saw the two in a clearing Kirie was on top of Mika "got ya!" she cheered victoriously as they laid on the grassy floor. She tossed the raventte off her then suddenly cocked her head like an alerted deer,"what was that? did you hear that?" Maka Said Rin followed her gaze and so did I. I saw what it looked to be a ninja a few trees farther from where I am. They looked liked they haven't noticed me yet, so I kept quiet and just kept observing

The ninja disappeared from his perch and reappeared a few feet behind them, quickly knocking out Maka then took advantage of Rin's shocked state, teleporting behind her and knocking her out cold. The blade made a small clung as it fell to the ground. I guess the ninja didn't notice me cause he then took Rei and Mika then vanished.

"did they just-NOPE! They did!" I jumped and dodged an incoming sneak attack, quickly making a bee-line towards the Uchiha compound, losing the pursuer.

3RD POV-MAKA AND KIREINA

Maka eyes opened to three shadowy men sitting around a campfire. She listened to the faint conversation of the men. Her eyes widen reaching for a hidden throwing knife in her sleeve. 'and they said it was a bad idea, they said oh no there is no danger. That we'd be fine' she quietly scoffed

'but how-It doesn't make sense' she thought as she quietly cut through her rope 'who did these people get pasted the barrier'

"how much do you think we will make with these brats" one of the thugs said

"better be a lot, have you seen their crest" another one pointed out

she continued until there was a small 'snap' ,she clutched the ropes, letting them drop with a little to no sound.

She quickly shuffles over to the unconscious raventte "hey rei-rei, reika" Mika said shaking her lightly "reika wake up" she whisper yelled

she suddenly felt a light breeze, barely dodging the incoming projectile as it flew by and lodged into the side of a tree

"you brat, get back here" one of the thugs said throwing some kuni

"why don't you be a good girl and stay still" another one taunted

'ninja' a light bulb went off in her mind your "ninja! your ninja." Mika repeat out loud, dodging said kunai.

She then was hurled into a tree from behind, getting up and barley dodged the next few of attacks but ultimately sub-come to her wounds as her vision became clouded and heard the faint voices of her assailants before she fully went unconscious "troublesome brat..."

Kireina fluttered her eyes open as the dim moonlit sky faintly shined through 'Wha-happened?' she asked herself.

"how much do you think they'll make" a shadowy figure said

" I don't know but I do know is that they'll sell for a high price" one of them said

she heard mummers of another voice this one low, gruff and care to admit menacing and slightly intimidating one that sent slight shivers down the young girl's spine.'that must be the leader. his aura, its dark, bit scary to say the least.' she shivered from the thought

'what are they talking about? And what do they want?'

She reached against the rope that bind her; Reaching for a small blade to cut herself free while they were distracted

Kireina caught a glancce at her brunette friend. 'mika!' she gasped at all the bruises and scratches.

Kireina mustered all the courage she had and held her head high, determined not to show them any fear she held. "stop it! get away from her!" she demeaned

the one in the middle, the leader turned to the young Uchiha. She let out a small gulp at the feeling of his dark presence creeping closer to her, an evil smirk dawned his face as he crouched down to the girl.

"and who are you to talk to us like that"

"your in no passion to give orders, brat"

'I'm dead-now's not the time to panic. If I keep thinking like that then that won't help me nor Mika. I need to escape, before something really bad happens. right' She quickly surpassed any fear she had and gave them a hard stare, trying to hide the fear that flooded her eyes

I arrived rushing past the gates and head to the center of the grounds heading to the head house. I knocked on the door rapidly on the door, bit panicked. A boy with the same black raven hair and onyx eyes as Kireina. It was one of her older brothers.

"hello?!" he said a bit confused "-your one of Rei-Rei's friends" he asked but it sounded more like a statement.

I nodded 'yes' to the older kid "I need your help" I blurted

"with what?" he asked "And where Kireina, she should be home by now"

I took a sharp inhale and said "WEWEREPLAYINGANDWHENWEWEREHEADING

BACKA-A-ANINJAORSOMEONE T-TH-THEYATTACKEDUS.MAKAANDKIRIE

AREINTROUBLETHEY'VEBEENCAPTURED!" I said super fast, panic lased my voice

"slow down" he breath, his hand outstretched bit wary, I started to hyperventilate a bit from all the running and just panic and worry racing through my mind for the two. "are you, ok?! Mayb-"

I sharply inhaled before spoke once more...clearly this time "Maka and Kirei are in trouble, they've been captured!" I blurted notice his eyes slightly widen.
