CHAPTER 33: DINNER

COLTON

Since my meeting at nine in the morning with the directors was very tiring and boring. I wanted to end it but I can't. We discussed important topics so I endured it until it ended.

I know it is weekend, to be in the company but this was very important to settle it for once. My brother Carson was here too.

"Bro, are you not going home? It is weekend and you are still here." He reminded me as he entered my office.

"Yes, I know. I still have to finish something then later I will go home." I answered.

"You should be. You have been very busy lately and haven't seen you at the club." Carson smirked. "Why don't you join me there tonight? Have fun, bro." He added.

Well, I forgot to mention any of my family members that I have my own woman already with a baby on the go anytime next month. Things have gotten preoccupied lately. It slipped my mind to mention to them.

"I can't, maybe next time. Besides, Leo is coming anyway." I spoke. "I told him to meet me here by 4."

Got a call from my cousin Leo this morning that he will come to see me. I told him I will be at my office until five in the afternoon.

He said he will be coming around four after his commitment. I do not know he wants because he is not coming to see me if it is not important.

"Oh, Leo is in town. I heard that he's engaged. But I never saw her woman. What about you?" Carson did not know that I met her already in Paris.

"Hmm!" I gave him a humming answer.

"Okay, I leave you now. I have to go somewhere but if you change your mind. I am at the club tonight." He left just like that.

I went back to my work and finished all the necessary files that needed on Monday.

If not, really important I rather spend my weekend to Shana than these files. Then I realized I haven't text Shana after the meeting ended.

Reaching out my phone, started working my fingers.

Me: Hi! What are you doing? Have you eaten on time? 😊

I send it once I finished. Not waiting too long she replied.

Shana: Hello there! I thought you were in the meeting. Lying down in the couch watching Freaky Friday. Yes, I already ate. ON TIME... 😋

I smiled reading at her text.

Me: Okay, I will be there before 6. I Miss you 😘

I was not like this before but I could not help it not to tell her now. I did not a reply immediately maybe she was confused. A reply came in.

Shana: You do? Well, we miss you too. 😘

I was in my heavenly moment reading again and again with her last message when a knocked on my door interrupt me

"What is it?" I asked.

"Boss, Leo is here." He spoke. My assistant Eddy informed me that Leo arrived. I looked at my watch and it was almost four. I also almost done with the last signature needed.

"Okay, let him in." I commanded.

The door opened he walked in, smiling wide at me. I stood up after putting the files inside the folder. "Hey, what a pleasant surprise! You never visit me in my office if it is not important." I said bumping our knuckles. "What can I do for you?" I leaded him to the couch.

"What are you doing here on a weekend." He sat down. "It was indeed surprise to me that you got Zari's twin pregnant." he said with devilish smile at me.

"How did you know that?" I asked raising my brows.

"Well, Zari was surprising her twin but she was the one who was surprised instead and living in your penthouse too." Leo stated.

"Oh, they were in the penthouse now." Leo nodded.

"Zari and I were planning to invite you two tonight, dinner time in the restaurant but Zari said to cancel the reservation." He explained. "There will still be dinner in your place instead because of Shana's situation."

"Yes, she will due next month. Sometimes she was too lazy to go out especially on a weekend." I informed, he nodded. "I think we better heading home since we were having dinner there." I said as I stood up.

I instructed Eddy before we go home to secure my office then he can go home early.

I was riding in Leo's car going home.

When we reached home, we saw them chatting with each other in the living room area as we came in.

Zari and Shana stood up as soon as they saw us.

"Twin, this is Leo Vince, my fiancé. Leo, my twin sister Shana." Zari said as she introduced Shana to Leo. They shook hands and kissed cheek to cheek.

Then Zari greeted me with the same cheek to cheek. I kissed Shana's lips and she was blushing. We headed to the dining table; it was already well prepared.

The food in the table were not

cooked by them I am sure since they do not have time for cooking. But I asked to make sure. "You, two, cooked all these foods on the table?" I asked.

"Of course not, Leo ordered those since Shana was lazy to go out." Zari replied and Shana smiled then I nodded.

I helped Shana to her seat before I do mine. Shana was always blushing every time I taking care of her. I love seeing her blushed, it was cute.

We were eating, talking together then sometimes Leo and I talked about business. Zari and Shana talked separately. Overall, the dinner was great having them together. My cousin Leo and Shana's twin Zari.

As I can see, the feelings I have for Shana is solid now that I see them both together. No matter how much they look alike but my heart knows who that person belongs.

It is Shana, always her.
