Second World: Taking Responsibility for Huangzhi
Wen Qinxi's body stiffened when Qie Ranzhe walked into the living room igniting sparks of anger but it was manageable manifesting itself in his sullen mood. All this while, he was rather sad than angry but the moment the Marshal entered the room Wen Qinxi suddenly felt angry puzzling even himself.
When Zhao Huangzhi pranced over to the Marshal in a flirtatious manner, Wen Qinxi neither looked nor did he want to look clenching his jaw while staring into space.
Later on when Qie Ranzhe tried to reach for his hand he subconsciously rejected him by moving his hand onto his lap refusing to look at the Marshal even for a split second. Qie Ranzhe felt a knot in the pit of his stomach being rejected this way heightening his anxiety as his fingers painfully dug into his palms till his knuckles turned white.
