You Pervert!

Yren stared at his father in disbelief, unsure what was going on. He had just been thrown into a Dungeon with no weapon, and now his father had stopped him just as he was about to win!

"Think about it! What would have happened if you had been able to get her, ya know?! How would that have looked when you got your license? Ginny will look after you after, and you won't have to worry, but people can't know that you have been in here yet, ya know," Tybrus explained, and Yren finally relaxed, letting out a sigh.

Yren was now tired; the stress and excitement had really gotten to him, but he knew he would have gotten Maki. He turned around and looked over his supposed sister but had a hard time seeing any resemblance to himself.

It wasn't that Yren thought that this was his father's child, but if this was his sister, she should look a bit like him. The furry curled rabbit legs, fur and paws from the waist down, and cute long ears flopped alongside her light brown hair.

"What? Do you think I am gonna look like you? I am not your actual sister, you dolt! We are connected through your real mother, Mira. She just treats us all as her children!" Maki told Yren, and he nodded with understanding.

*You did very well on your first try, my son. I am excited for the day that we get to meet.*

'I guess so, but it felt like cheating, just like Mika said,' I thought, and my mother's laughter rang through my mind like heavenly bells.

*Maybe, but the same trick won't work next time. You are brilliant, and you have put in a great effort. Your father always comes and tells me stories of your days in school when you were younger.*

"Even after twenty years, her voice still gets me, ya know. Let's get going back home now, you have a big day tomorrow, and you can bug Mika more then," Tybrus said, turning back to the entrance that was now open.

"See you tomorrow, little brother!" Mika said with a smile, still keeping her distance.

Yren gave her one more look over, but his eyes stopped at Mika's small chest for a brief moment. Knowing that this wasn't actually his sister made him feel a bit differently about the cute Were-Rabbit.

"YOU PERVERT!" Mika screamed at me, and she burst at me with incredible speed, but Yren's senses dialed up with his adrenaline.

The moment before Mika was about to contact him, Yren sidestepped but left afoot. Mika was completely surprised at how easily he had dodged and didn't notice the foot.

"NO!" Tybrus roared, but it was too late.

The Were-rabbit tripped and was sent tumbling, but the room dimmed, giving the room a more ominous feel. Yren had read about this, but it seemed different then what was suppose to happened when you defeated a monster.

Tybrus smacked his hand on his face and let out a long exasperated groan. This was the last thing that they needed, and now he was going to be up all night!

"Dammit! You two are acting like children, and now look what you did, ya know?!" Tybrus said, but Yren was distracted by what was floating in front of his face.

"Umm, dad. Why did I just move up to Rank two, and what is this screen?" Yren asked in confusion as he looked at the message in front of himself.

[Dungeon room 1 floor 1 Completed!]

[Were-Rabbit Defeated: Special bonus for Non-combat victory!]

[Congratulations! Rank 2 Acquired!]

[New Skill Acquired: Hot Step|Fire Based: Teleport up to 5 feet, leaving a burning after image that can inflict Fire Damage.]

"What?! Mira, What are you doing up there?! You know he can't go into the guild like this! We agreed that we would wait! And you two!" Tybrus roared madder than Yren had ever seen him.

"Sorry, dad, this was my fault," I said, but the strange text was still in front of my vision.

"Ya, it was; you were looking at my chest! You Pervert!" Mika shouted at Yren, but that actually made Yren grin, making his father groan.

"Sorry, not much to look at. How about this? You can look at my chest, and we will be even, right?" Yren asked, trying to sound innocent, but that made Maki lose it.

"DIE, YOU PERVERT!" She screamed as Maki launched herself at me, but I activated my new skill.

"Hot Step! I yelled out, focusing my body to the left in my mind, and suddenly I was in a spot beside me, five feet over.

Maki narrowly sidestepped my fiery after image but turned on me with fury in her eyes. Yren didn't know she could kill him, but he might have a chance.

"Enough!" Tybrus roared, and suddenly Both Yren and Maki were crushed to the floor by an invisible force.

"I will hide the Dungeon System, but you will have to take care of the Rank," Mira spoke aloud as if there were a speaker.

Tybrus grunted and nodded, releasing both kids from his crushing presence. It seemed that he was going to have to teach his son some manners on how to treat women, but at least they were getting along.

"Come on, boy, you two can finish this tomorrow! I need to get back now, or I won't finish before morning, ya know. Tsk! Why is this the moment that you decide to become a handful!" Tybrus groaned, scrubbing one hand over his face and heading for the exit.

"Wait! Yren, you are coming back tomorrow, right? You had better be, and you had better not try to cheat like last time!" Maki shouted at Yren, and he smiled.

"Yeah, I will be back, but you better take me seriously this time, or I might tease you again!" Yren called with a laugh as he turned to follow his father home.

"I will not lose to you again! You aren't my brother anymore; you are my number one rival!" Maki screamed at him, and Yren grinned broadly as he walked away.

Fine by him.
