" You two have been the most annoying pieces of shit I've had to fight with "

Lionel said as he stopped mid air, standing in the sky with injuries all over his body, and blood falling down to the ground below.

" Well that's too bad for you, isn't it? "

Ean replied, whilst carefully floating around Shu, keeping his swords low as Shu simply picked his nose, staring at a Lionel in the process.

" Hmm, alright, I guess you're right "

Lionel whispered before snapping his fingers, causing thousands of copies or himself to appear around the area, the only difference being that they were extremely pale.

" Ooh.. "

Shu opened his eyes and mouth wide, completely surprised by what the man just did, not only that but also excited to fight.

" Watch out Shu, those clones might be- "

Ean couldn't finish his sentence as Shu was no longer there to listen to it all, he was already gone, fighting and exchanging blows with the copies.

" He's an idiot— "

Lionel whispered whilst slowly floating toward Ean who stared at him with the urge to kill.

" Your friend I mean—Shu Himura, he not only fights like an animal, but the energy he gives off is also animal like. I truly don't understand why you sided with him, when you were born and raised in the Elsian kingdom "

Lionel added, tilting his head a little whilst getting closer and closer to Ean who stared carefully at everything the man did.

" To tell you the truth, I just didn't like the Elsian kingdom, or the family I was raised in, nothing about that place was pleasant to me… "

Ean replied, to then pause, lifting his head a little as an old memory flashed through his head.

" No, I lied, there was something nice and pleasant in the Elsian Kingdom, but it got taken away from me, and you want to know why? "

Ean questioned whilst the anger on his face became more and more noticeable as the memory of the death of his brother began to fill his mind, remembering his older brother's last words.

" Because he was so obsessed with the kingdom I betrayed "

Ean added, as he slowly raised one of his blades, pointing the tip toward the man's throat.

" But it was them, the ones you're siding with that killed your brother, not us "

Lionel replied, as Ean simply smiled, chuckling a little whilst tilting his blade a little.

" Yes that's true, but it was his dedication and love for the kingdom that ultimately killed him, even when he was offered a chance to join the side im currently in, he declined, and died, all because of you fuckers who made him believe in this fraud of a kingdom!!! "

Ean yelled whilst tightly gripping the handle of his sword, his aura intensifying as he spoke, frowning like a child after having something taken away.

" Hmm, I see, so I take it you won't come back to— "

Lionel quickly shut his mouth, whilst moving backwards a bit, dodging one of Ean's slice, which was targeted at the man's neck.

" Shut the fuck up, I don't want to hear a word coming out of your mouth, you the elites are especially corrupt "

Ean whispered whilst his aura grew and grew, causing the air around it to shake and twist.

" Alright fine, suit yourself "

Lionel replied, to then dash forward, swinging his arm forward, punching the boy right in his stomach, causing a burst of energy which would send him flying across the air, piercing the clouds, and entering the mesosphere in the process, only to be punched back into the troposphere, to then get kicked right in the chin, which sent him flying around the entirety of the planet, being met by a fist to the face at the end of it all.

" You should've joined us Ean, you should've followed master Romulus, in my normal state I can be considered the second strongest elite, but in this form… "

Lionel would spread his arms, rising higher into the air, looking down upon Ean who held onto his face, trying to stop his bleeding.

" I am second only to Master Romulus—in other words, I have no equals "

Lionel added, as his armor shined brighter, healing itself whilst his injuries began to disappear, in other words, completely erasing any trace of harm from his body.

" No equals huh? "

A voice said, as a man stood behind Lionel—a very tall man, the tallest any of them have ever seen

" Mr Ezra? "

Ean questioned whilst blood stopped to fall from his nose, and he slowly regained his composure

" Step aside Ean, I'll kill this bastard myself "

Ezra whispered as he cracked his neck, than his knuckles—the sounds of his bone being heard across the field in echoes, which was odd since there was no surface for the sounds to bounce off of

" Shu!! "

Ezra yelled, causing Shu, who was blowing the heads of the copies off, suddenly stopped right when he was biting down on one of the clone's arms

" Uuuh—yes? "

Shu questioned whilst slowly backing away from the arm he was biting

" Step aside, this is my fight to end "

The man ordered as blue smoke began to emerge from his shoulders, spreading into the air and mixing with the clouds above

" Why? I was having fun and— "

Shu couldn't finish his sentence, how could he? He just saw Ezra, who he thought he had surpassed destroy the thousands of copies with a flick of his wrist

" What the hell—what did he just do? "

Ana questioned, watching the fight from afar as Elena began to sweat, seemingly nervous about what the man was about to do

" His ability—his ability allows him to steal, control and absorb souls "

Elena replied whilst she slowly flew back, as if to step away from what was about to happen

" Okay and? "

" Normally i wouldn't be nervous, but, he has absorbed thousands of souls, nearly a million, and if he were to release all that energy at once….

Elena paused whilst Ezra levitated toward Lionel, looking down upon him as even more smoke began to come out of his body, wrapping around him like bands.

As the happened, Ean and Shu began to take a few steps back, allowing the man space.

Elena's expression turned to one of worry as the smoke around Ezra began to intensify

" then he might just become the strongest being on the planet.. "

Elena added whilst gulping her saliva, fearfully backing away

" That's—that's great!! What's wrong with that? If that's the case he can just end Romulus a long with all his followers "

Ana replied as Elena simply sighed, holding onto her forehead as sweat fell down from her head at a rapid pace

" Yes, it would be great if that was the only thing that happens when he releases all those souls's energies, but in reality, what it truly means to release all that energy is simply something demonic "

Elena whispered as Ezra's eyes began to glow red, and the smoke around him started to surround his face, creating an Oni like mask.
