End of a Saga

The battlefield cracked and groaned under the weight of their clash, shockwaves rippling across the land as Frieza and Kakarot exchanged blows.

Krillin and Piccolo watched as they tried to make sense of the sheer scale of power before them.

"Come on, Goku!" Krillin shouted, his voice hoarse, gripping his fists tightly. He could barely keep his footing against the tremors from their battle.

Nearby, Gohan was rooted in place, his wide eyes flicking between his father and Frieza. "Dad… you can do this," he muttered, though the nervous tremor in his voice betrayed the confidence he was trying to muster.

Kakarot darted forward, red ki surging around him like a raging inferno as he drove a fist toward Frieza's face. "Kaioken times ten!" he roared, He keep shifting between x4 and 10. It connected, Kakarot's punch landed squarely on Frieza's face. The tyrant's head snapped back, his body shifting slightly in the air from the impact.

But then Frieza's annoyed laughter rang out. He tilted his head back, brushing his cheek with a single finger. "Is that it, monkey?" he sneered, his tone dripping with condescension. "Surely you're not putting all your hope in this pathetic display of brute force."

Before Kakarot could retreat, Frieza's tail lashed out like a whip, catching him around the neck and yanking him forward and throwing him into the ground. In that moment Frieza dropped down hard with a knee into Kakarot's stomach, forcing a strangled gasp from his lips. The red aura around him flickered, weakening for just a moment before he managed to wrench himself free.

Kakarot Kicked Frieza back into the sky, his breathing labored. "I'm… not done yet," he said through gritted teeth.

Frieza hovered in place, arms folded, his tail swishing lazily behind him. "Oh, Monkey, your pride is amusing, I'll give you that. But you Saiyans never seem to grasp the truth, no matter how strong you think you are, you're still nothing but a filthy monkey beneath my boot." His smile widened, his golden eyes glinting with sadistic glee. "Allow me to demonstrate."

Without warning, Frieza surged forward. He appeared behind Kakarot, delivering a brutal elbow to his spine that sent him crashing into the ground and creating a small fissure in the ground with an earth-shattering boom. Kakarot groaned, pushing himself up on trembling arms, but Frieza didn't let up. He raised a hand, a sphere of crackling purple energy forming in his palm.

Krillin took a step forward, his face twisted in panic. "We've gotta do something! He's not gonna last much longer at this rate!"

Piccolo's hand shot out, gripping Krillin's shoulder to hold him in place. His stern gaze didn't waver from the battle. "Stay back," he said firmly.

"But Piccolo—" Krillin started, only to be cut off by the Namekian's glare.

"We'd only get in the way. Kakarot's the only one who can match him right now."

I couldn't help but snort. Behind them, Vegeta and Nappa, freshly healed by Dende, watched with a mix of frustration and reluctant awe. His arms were crossed, his fingers twitching as if itching to join the fray. "Kakarot…" he muttered, his scowl deepening. "The fool's pushing himself too hard. That technique of his… it won't last forever."

"Is that concern I hear, Vegeta?" I said, smirking as I leaned against a jagged rock. The winds from the battle whipped my hair around, but I barely noticed.

He shot me a glare, his usual arrogance masking the unease in his eyes. "Don't be ridiculous, Celera. I'm simply stating the obvious. Unlike you, I'm not so naive to think Kakarot can keep this up. Frieza will tear him apart the moment that ridiculous technique falters."

Back on the battlefield, Frieza hurled the energy sphere down at Kakarot, who barely managed to deflect it into the distance. The explosion lit up the sky, casting eerie shadows across the battlefield.

Frieza smirked, his tone mockingly sympathetic. "I must admit, this is the most fun I've had in years. It's so rare to find someone who can entertain me for more than a few seconds. But I'm growing bored, Monkey."

He raised his power again, his aura flaring to life with an intensity that made the air heavy. Kakarot's eyes narrowed as he adjusted his stance. "You're stronger than I thought," he admitted, his voice steady despite the strain in his body as a smile formed on his face.

Frieza's smirk twisted into a scowl. "Strong? No, monkey. I'm just toying with you." He dashed forward, the two clashed again. Each collision sent shockwaves rippling outward, the force enough to make even the distant mountains tremble. It seemed like frieze Power had shot up to 9,600,000.

It became clear Frieza was pulling ahead. His strikes came faster, harder, each one finding its mark. Kakarot's movements grew sluggish, the strain of the Kaioken x10 taking its toll. Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth, and his breaths came in short, ragged gasps.

Frieza grabbed him by the wrist mid-punch. "Is this it?" he taunted, pulling Kakarot closer so their faces were inches apart. "All that bravado, all that Saiyan pride… and this is the best you can do?"

Kakarot glared at him. "I'm… not done… yet."

Frieza sneered, slamming his knee into Kakarot's stomach and sending him flying backward. He crashed into the ground, leaving a crater in his wake.

"That's enough!" Gohan yelled, his voice breaking. it seemed like Gohan, Krillin and Piccolo were about to jump in. As Kakarot rose, Frieza floated down, his arms crossed, his expression a mix of amusement and disdain. "You Saiyans truly are a stubborn lot," he said, his voice laced with mockery.

The battlefield trembled as Kakarot's exhausted form was flung back once more, crashing into the jagged terrain. His red ki flickered dangerously, his body struggling to handle the strain of maintaining the power-up against Frieza's.

"Dad!" Gohan's voice cracked, panic clear in his tone as he took a step forward. While Krillin and Piccolo stood in front of him in their battle stances ready to face Frieza.

From the sidelines, Raditz's growled low in his throat, his tail flicking sharply behind him. His fists clenched as he watched his younger brother struggle, his Saiyan pride warring with his common sense.

"That's enough," Raditz muttered, his voice low but resolute.

I turned to him, catching the fierce gleam in his glowing white eye. A sign of the transformation he was about to unleash.

He glanced at me, his expression hard but determined. "Don't try to stop me, Celera. Frieza thinks he's untouchable? Let's see how he fares against a Great Ape."

Tato raised an eyebrow, his usual calm demeanor giving way to mild surprise. " He took longer then I expected him too."

Raditz stepped forward, his aura flaring violently as he focused his energy. His one glowing white eye burned brighter, and the ground beneath him cracked under the sheer force of his ki.

"Here we go," I said under my breath, crossing my arms as I watched the transformation begin.

Raditz let out a guttural roar, his body convulsing as his form began to expand. His muscles swelled, his armor cracking under the strain as dark fur erupted across his skin. His face elongated into a snout, sharp fangs bared in a feral snarl. In seconds, he towered over the battlefield, his massive Great Ape form casting a shadow over Frieza and Kakarot.

Frieza's amused expression faltered for the first time as he looked up at the hulking figure before him. His tail lashed behind him, betraying a flicker of unease. "Well, well," he drawled, though his voice lacked its usual confidence. "I'd nearly forgotten about this ridiculous little trick of yours. A Great Ape… how quaint."

Raditz let out a deafening roar, the ground shaking beneath his massive feet. His glowing white eye locked onto Frieza, and for the first time since the battle began, the tyrant seemed genuinely unsettled.

Frieza's smirk returned, though it was more forced than before. "Do you really think a lumbering beast like you can stand against me? Lord Frieza!"

Raditz didn't bother with a response. Instead, he lunged forward with surprising speed for his massive form, his massive fist slamming into the ground where Frieza had been a moment before. The impact sent shockwaves rippling through the air, forcing the rest of us to steady ourselves against the tremors.

Frieza dodged and weaved around Raditz's attacks. But Raditz wasn't just relying on brute strength. His strikes aimed to corner Frieza.

"You're faster than I expected," Frieza admitted, his tone laced with disgust. "But don't think for a second that you're on my level."

Raditz let out another thunderous roar, swiping at Frieza with an open palm. Frieza dodged, but the sheer force of the swing sent him spiraling through the air. Before he could recover, Raditz opened his massive maw and unleashed a beam of crimson energy from his mouth. The blast streaked toward Frieza, who narrowly avoided it by the skin of his teeth.

"Getting sloppy, Frieza," I called out, unable to resist a smirk as I watched the tyrant's composure slip further.

"You filthy monkey!" Frieza snarled, his voice laced with venom. "I'll make you regret this insolence!"

"Big talk for someone who's running out of options," Raditz growled, his voice deep and rumbling even in his Great Ape form.

Frieza's energy flared as he unleashed a barrage of ki blasts, each one striking Raditz square in the chest. The massive Saiyan stumbled back, but his aura surged in response, and he roared with renewed fury.

"You're not the only one who can adapt, Frieza," Raditz said, a feral grin splitting his snout. "You think you're the strongest in the universe? Let me show you what real power looks like!"

Frieza's composure cracked further as Raditz's relentless assault forced him to acknowledge the threat before him. "Enough of this nonsense!" Frieza snapped, his voice shrill with frustration. "I'll crush you and what is left of your race once and for all!"

He began to power up, his aura flaring as he rushed at Raditz with both of his arms Infront of him. Slamming himself into Raditz's chest and pushing through as he created a large hole in Raditz chest.

"Thirty percent," Frieza stated, his voice calm and almost detached. He flexed his ki to clean the gore off of his body as Raditz body fell down. "That's all I need."

"No!" Gohan's scream ripped through the battlefield as Raditz fell to one knee, his enormous hand clutching at his chest. His Great Ape form began to shrink, fur receding as his body reverted back to its original state. He collapsed onto the jagged rocks, the light in his eyes fading.

The ground shook under the weight of his body as it hit the ground.

"Raditz!" Piccolo growled, his voice filled with both anger and disbelief.

Frieza hovered above his fallen foe, his arms crossed and a wicked grin spread across his face. "And just like that," he said, his tone light and conversational, "another monkey learns his place in the hierarchy. Dead, where he belongs."

Nappa's fists trembled at his sides, his tail twitching with barely contained rage. He took a step forward, but I raised my hand, stopping him. "Sit your happy ass down," I said coldly, my gaze never leaving Frieza.

Tato and Hanasia stepped forward without hesitation, their power flaring as they stood shoulder to shoulder.

"Together," Tato said, his voice calm despite the rage in his eyes.

"Let's rip him apart," Hanasia growled.

The two charged, their ki blazing as they closed the distance to Frieza in the blink of an eye. Tato's punch aimed for Frieza's face, while Hanasia went low, targeting his torso. The tyrant dodged, weaving between their strikes. He retaliated with a powerful kick, sending Hanasia skidding backward, but Tato caught the opening, landing a heavy blow to Frieza's side.

Frieza's laughter echoed as he retaliated, driving a brutal elbow into Tato's back and hurling him to the ground. Hanasia's energy flared as she unleashed a barrage of ki blasts, but Frieza deflected them with ease, his tail lashing out and catching her mid-air.

"How tedious," Frieza said, his tone bored. He slammed Hanasia into the ground with enough force to create a crater, then turned his gaze toward me.

I stepped forward, my body trembling with fury. Raditz's lifeless form was burned into my vision, his sacrifice fueling the storm inside me. My blood boiled, my ki surging uncontrollably as I glared at Frieza. "Your going to pay," I said, my voice loud and dangerous.

Frieza raised an eyebrow, his smirk returning. "Oh? And what will you do about it, hmm? Another monkey throwing a tantrum?"

My power surged, the ground beneath me cracking as my aura exploded outward, a deep green hue tinged with some fading and reappearing gold. My muscles swelled slightly but not much, my eyes glowing with primal fury.

My voice guttural and feral. "Frieza, I'm going to kill you." I shouldn't had played around like this I should have ended things from the start.

The battlefield fell silent as my power continued to climb, the winds howling around us.

My Ikari-infused light green aura blazed around me, tinged with flickers of golden energy. Frieza hovered before me, his eyes narrowing as he took in my transformed state.

"What's this?" Frieza mused, a hint of curiosity and slight fear in his otherwise cold voice. "Have you monkeys finally achieved your little legend? The so-called Super Saiyan?"

My eyes locked onto his. "Guess you'll find out the hard way."

Without another word, I launched myself at him, the ground beneath me shattering from the force. I closed the distance in an instant, delivering a powerful punch aimed straight at his smug face. Frieza barely managed to raise his arm in time, blocking the blow, but the impact sent him skidding back through the air.

I didn't let up. I followed through with a barrage of punches and kicks. Frieza was on the defensive, his tail lashed out, attempting to catch me off guard, but I anticipated it, grabbing it mid-swing and yanking him towards me. I drove my knee into his stomach, causing him to gasp.

I followed with a struck of my fist slamming it into Frieza's chest with enough force to send him skidding across the battlefield, carving a deep trench in the ground. Before he could recover, I was on him again, landing a brutal kick to his midsection that launched him skyward. In an instant, I was above him, clasping my hands together and bringing them down in a hammer blow that sent him crashing back into the ground, creating a massive crater.

Frieza coughed, purple blood splattering the broken terrain as he tried to push himself up. "You filthy—"

I didn't let him finish. My boot drove into his back, pinning him down. I leaned in close, my voice dripping with venom. "No more monologues, Frieza."

Grabbing him by the head, I hurled him skyward before unleashing a barrage of ki blasts that chased him into the air. Each explosion illuminated the darkened sky, and with each hit, I felt his energy falter. The tyrant tried to dodge, weaving between blasts, but his movements were sluggish.

Appearing in front of him and slamming my knee into his stomach. He wheezed, doubling over, and I followed up with a hammer fist that sent him crashing back to the ground.

Frieza's battered body trembled as he pushed himself up again. His purple aura flickered weakly around him. "Y-you think this is enough to kill me?" he spat, blood dripping from his lips. "I am Lord Frieza—"

I descended in front of him, grabbing his wrist before he could finish powering up. My grip tightened, bones cracking audibly under my strength. His scream of pain was music to my ears.

"I don't care what you are. All I see is a corpse," I growled, twisting his arm and snapping it like a twig. His cry of agony filled the battlefield as I tossed him aside.

His eyes flashed with anger. "You insolent wretch!" He broke free from my grip, creating distance between us. His aura flared, more intense than before. "You've forced my hand."

He raised one finger, and I could feel his power surging. "Witness my true strength at fifty percent."

His ki skyrocketing. I clenched my fists, sensing the drastic increase in his power level. I should have ended this quicker but there was a part of me that wanted him to power up even further.

Without warning, Frieza vanished from sight. Before I could react, a sharp pain exploded in my side as he landed a swift kick, sending me hurtling across the battlefield. I crashed into a rocky outcrop, the impact causing an avalanche of debris to rain down around me.

"Did you really think you could defeat me?" Frieza's voice echoed as he appeared above me. "Even at half my full power, you're nothing."

I wiped the blood from my lip, a growl escaping my throat. "Don't get cocky." I propelled myself upwards, meeting him head-on. Our fists collided, the shockwave obliterating the surrounding landscape. We exchanged blows, neither of us giving an inch. But it was clear, he was matching me now, if not surpassing me quickly.

"You're slowing down," he sneered, landing a punch to my gut that made me double over.

I gritted my teeth, retaliating with an uppercut that grazed his chin. "Not... finished... yet."

He laughed, a cold, hollow sound. "But you will be soon."

He pulled back, gathering energy at his fingertips. I recognized the move, a Death Beam. He fired it and I twisted my body, barely evading the beam as it sliced past me.

But then I heard it, a sharp gasp, followed by a thud.

Turning slowly, I saw Gohan collapse to the ground, a smoking hole through his chest where the Death Beam had struck. His eyes were wide with shock, his small body crumpling lifelessly.

"Gohan!" Krillin screamed, rushing to his side. Piccolo stood frozen, his eyes wide with disbelief.

My blood ran cold.

Frieza chuckled darkly. "Oops. Did I hit someone? My aim must be off."

A surge of rage unlike anything I'd ever felt erupted within me. My aura flared wildly as my hair started to rise and shift between gold and black, the golden ki flickers intensifying. But before I could react, a scream tore through the battlefield.

"Damn you... Frieza!"

All eyes turned to Kakarot. He stood trembling, his fists clenched so tightly that blood dripped from his palms. His eyes were shadowed beneath his brow, but the fury emanating from him was palpable.

"How dare you..." His voice was low, barely above a whisper.

Frieza raised an eyebrow, amused. "Oh? And what will you do about it, little Saiyan?"

Kakarot's head snapped up, his eyes locking onto Frieza with a piercing glare. His black hair began to rise, shifting from its usual style. The ground beneath him cracked and split as his power surged.

"This ends now," Kakarot declared, his voice echoing with power.

A blinding light enveloped him, his aura exploding into a brilliant gold. When the light faded, he stood transformed hair spiked upwards, glowing golden, his eyes a fierce teal.

"A Super Saiyan..." Vegeta whispered, a mix of awe and envy in his voice.

Frieza's confident facade faltered. "So... the legend is true after all."

Kakarot fixed Frieza with an icy stare. "You won't get away with this."

In the distance, I noticed a shimmering light. The Namekian dragon, Porunga, towering over the landscape. Denda must have succeeded in gathering the Dragon Balls and was making his wishes. Good. That meant there was still hope.

I glanced back at Kakarot. His power was immense, far surpassing Mine. This was his fight now.

I moved back, landing near Krillin and Piccolo, who were tending to Gohan. "Is he...?"

Krillin shook his head, tears streaming down his face. "He's gone."

Piccolo's jaw was set in a grim line. "We need to get out of here."

Kakarot's aura flared as he squared off against Frieza. "Everyone, get to safety. Now!"

I hesitated. "Kakarot—"

He shot me a fierce look over his shoulder. "This is my fight. Don't interfere."

There was no arguing with him. The intensity in his eyes said it all. I nodded.

As we retreated to a safer distance, the air around them crackled with energy. The clash between Kakarot and Frieza would decide everything.

"This is insane," Krillin muttered. "Their power... it's off the charts."

Vegeta watched silently, a mix of emotions flickering across his face. "So Kakarot has become a Super Saiyan," he said quietly. "The legend reborn."

Nappa crossed his arms. "What do we do now?"

I glanced towards the horizon, where Porunga was still visible. "We need to make sure Dende's wishes go through. That might be our only chance to fix this."

Piccolo nodded. "Agreed. Let's move."

As we made our way towards Dende's location, the battle between Kakarot and Frieza raged on, each clash shaking the very planet.

In the sky above, Kakarot and Frieza continued their fierce exchange. Energy blasts lit up the darkening sky, each explosion more massive than the last.

[else were]

"You're beginning to annoy me!" Frieza shouted, firing a barrage of purple ki blasts.

Kakarot weaved through them effortlessly, appearing behind Frieza and delivering a crushing blow to his back. Frieza cried out, spiraling downward before catching himself.

"Is this the limit of your power?" Kakarot asked, his voice steady. "Because if it is, you don't stand a chance."

Frieza snarled, his eyes burning with hatred. "You dare mock me? I am Lord Frieza! The most powerful being in the universe!"

He charged up a massive ball of energy above his head. "Let's see you handle this!"

He hurled it towards the planet's surface. Kakarot's eyes widened. "You're insane! You'll destroy the planet!"

Frieza laughed maniacally. "If I can't win, then everyone loses!"

Kakarot acted quickly, racing towards the energy ball and pushing against it with all his might. "I won't let you destroy another world!"

With a final push, Kakarot deflected the energy ball upwards, sending it hurtling into space where it exploded harmlessly. He turned back to Frieza, his expression stern. "Your fight is with me."

Frieza's face twisted with rage. "You just don't know when to die!"

They clashed again, the force of their blows creating fissures in the ground below. The planet itself seemed to be groaning under the strain of their battle.

[back with the main group]

Meanwhile, we reached the area where Dende stood with the Dragon Balls. The enormous figure of Porunga loomed overhead, his presence casting a shadow over the battlefield.

"Dende!" I called out as we approached.

He turned, relief evident on his face. "I was able to summon Porunga! I've already made my first wish!"

"What did you wish for?" Piccolo asked urgently.

"I asked Porunga to bring back Gohan," Dende replied.

A stirring behind us caught our attention. Gohan sat up slowly, rubbing his chest where the wound had been as he was in Piccolo's arms.

"Where... what happened?" he asked groggily.

"Gohan!" Krillin exclaimed, rushing over to hug him. "You're okay!"

Gohan looked around, confused. "I thought... Frieza..."

"It's a long story," Piccolo said, a rare smile tugging at his lips.

I breathed a sigh of relief. "At least something's gone right."

But before we could celebrate further, a voice echoed in our minds, a voice we hadn't expected.

"Listen carefully, everyone," King Kai's voice said, cutting through our thoughts. "I've been watching everything, and I know what you're trying to do. Porunga can't bring everyone back at once."

"What?!" Krillin shouted. "Then what do we do?"

"There's another way," King Kai assured us. "I'll contact Kami on Earth. With the Earth's Dragon Balls, he can bring everyone Frieza and his men killed back to life. But you need to use the remaining wishes wisely."

I nodded. "All right, Dende. That means we can focus on something else."

Dende hesitated, his gaze flickering to the distant battle. "Maybe we could wish to help Goku?"

I shook my head. "He wouldn't want that. This is his fight."

Before Dende could respond, Vegeta stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Enough talking! Use the wish to make me immortal!"

I shot him a glare. "We're not wasting it on you, Vegeta."

A massive explosion in the distance drew everyone's attention. The planet shook violently, fissures cracking across the landscape.

"This has to end soon," Nappa muttered. "The planet can't take much more of this."

"Agreed," Piccolo said. "Dende, decide fast."

[back with Kakarot]

Kakarot landed a powerful blow, sending Frieza crashing into the ground. The tyrant struggled to his feet, battered and bleeding.

"I won't be defeated by a Saiyan!" Frieza screamed, his voice hoarse.

"It's over, Frieza," Kakarot declared. "You've lost."

Frieza's eyes darted around wildly. "No... No! I refuse to accept this!"

He began gathering energy, his body shaking with the effort as his muscle swelled. While Kakarot stood off, allowing him to power up.

[ back with the group]

"Wish everyone off this planet, but leave Kakarot to deal with Frieze," I order while staring down Vegeta as I had finally fully tapped into super Saiyan, while Raditzs made his way to the group. There wasn't anything else we could do. And as Denda made his wish, we all vanished just as a death ball hit the planet but judging by its power it wouldn't destroy the planet.
