the bishop face turned into a grin seeing the murmurs

"jikan corresponded to asner, while the powers we faithful have corresponds to begas, what is the power corresponding to urnos than? S.P" 

"its the power of tools, that our souls can give a new infinite edge to, of course only with proper vassals and connection" he smiled

"you lot, you may not remember, but there were times where the only usable guns were not railguns, all of them were considered lethal, but when jikan came to be, people could move faster than guns, so what do you think will happen now?"

"asner nobility will have a bigger edge, as they are the ones blessed by their planet, to be able to see and move faster, to be able to conquer diseases, and be one step closer to immortality than the rest of us" he said with a frown

"so whats our purpose? we take from them, this is for example a weapon that can use S.P" after the bishop said that he pulled out a gun from his windbreaker

it was a pistol, that looked unnecessary flashy, and there was lines of blue flashing light on its barrel

with a smile the bishop showed his right hand, his palm looked like it was black plastic, with metal lines woven onto it

"for you to use such a weapon for example, you need it to be connected to you, specially be linked to here" the bishop said while pointing at his head

after he said that he held the gun with his right hand, which made the lights on the barrel turn golden

he than pushed the trigger, which made the gun, shot a laser beam

or so they thought, even with their jikans activated they couldn't see it Cleary, it was just a flash of light

"that flash of light that you saw, is the sign of this new power, you can be holding swords, and they would turn into light sabers, if they are build correctly that is, your cybernetics can also see a boost in their performance too, but remember, your cybernetics, will make you slightly crazier the more you use this power" what he said made the excited deacons turn silent

"and as for parasites, they are a pleasant surprise, unpleasant for some, you will become a super human the second one of these parasites, that is compatible with the new power enters your body, you will have a symbiotic relationship than, and each parasite has one single unique ability, but that unique ability, can cost us our humanity, in a literal sense so be wary when you find a new one" seeing that everyone was waiting for his next speech the bishop laughed and told them they could continue as they always were

which made most of the members start talking to each other

morzerk however was having a slight headache, as he was remembering all information related to this new power, 

this new power, it was like winning lottery if one could use it, legally you would have to pay a fortune to have any cybernetic related to it installed in you, his remaining savings barely cut one

and for the parasites, it was best to not even think about it, these stuff were end game, so he didn't even think about them

he even felt his decision somewhat pleased the butterfly, even if for wrong reasons

with a sigh he started to look around in the gathering, there were alot of people, either standing or sitting in a corner, so he went and joined a larger group

what ever they were talking about seemed like new knowledge to him, it seemed unlike other stuff(s.p) anything related to the goddess in his memories was hard locked

it seemed that each of the either neutral or eviler faiths had a type of underground market, where they would sell illegal weaponry, food, and information, a even put bounties for others

the gatherings that the order of corruption had were meant mostly spread information amongst members, but it doubled as a underground market too, 

so he went around and found out that... there wasn't anything he really wanted

only the information and some weapons interested him, weapons so when he is locked on corruption mark he could use them instead, so he got a a thing and long sword, it looked like a modern katana, with a black sheath and black handle, it also had a blade that could heat up, which made it pretty efficient at cutting, he also got a semi railgun hybrid, it had a longer barrel than the average pistol on earth, and could only fire a single shot every ten minutes, and if one was aware of it one could dodge its bullet semi easily, it was mostly a tool of silent assassinations

so why would morzerk get such a thing? well it was simple really, for the sake of options, who knew it might come in to clutch one day

after putting the sword and the gun into holsters he got for them and hiding the inside of his robes, he started buying information

this visit alone cost him half of his credits, but well it was worth it, the information he bought were mostly related to the church of light, and of course related to arenas and asner plans, he even bought a list of nobles related to his family's, who knew of their demise and fall was planned or not 

he found out quit a bit, arenas were under construction and were planned to become a thing in the next 30 days at least, which was both worrying to morzerk and good news, worrying because it meant he couldn't slack as much, and good news because he could start climbing the ladders and become nobility once again

as arenas were a important part of his plan to climb back up, one part of it was to create a fame, and another was to create fortune, arenas were basically colosseum's, where people would fight each other for honor

and his memory wasn't as complete as it once was, and he remembered certain details of what he had written were changed, so he needed the most complete information he could get his hands on

checking the information he had gotten he started going back to his rented house

after returned the butterfly came out of his robe and started flying around in the room, morzerk was too tired to change his clothing's and just fell asleep

tomorrow was going to be a long day, that night morzerk had a dream

it wasn't anything unpleasant unlike the recent ones, just a sweat dream

after waking up and stretching up a little morzerk first showered, and came out to check the information he was given

he first checked the information related to his family, as it was the biggest factor he had to check, and checking it he realized that his parents had died due to a heart attack

which in this world was a very rare event, their bodies were checked but no sign of any foreign substance were found

due to the two of them having the same cause of death and being nobles their story became a hot topic, with many believing that they died due to foreign influences, but no noble could be blamed due to lack of evidence

they were murdered, but by whom he didn't know, and the files of the related nobles didn't have any related information, his only suspect was his ex fiancé's family

as there weren't anyone who could have benefitted from it, and he didn't know what was truly going on in the background

he than checked whatever asner nobles had any plans, it seemed they wanted to reinforce their forces on each planet with new weaponry, and arenas were actually meant to scout talents for something that was going to happen, and they were already scouting talents, be it nobles or beggars anyone could become a noble of asner, and be trained... for something

morzerk couldn't remember what was going to happen, and however much thoughts he put into it he remembered nothing

putting it at the back of his mind, morzerk spent a bit talking with epilla on his phone before wearing his clothes, and of course his weapons, he started to go outside, but while he was going out he realized the butterfly had changed forms, before it looked like a corrupted being, but now it looked like it was made out of light, 

his mark also had changed to the one of light, and he realized he could use the abilities of a light paladin

with a good mood he went outside just strolling the city and preaching the words of the goddess, as it was one of his duties that he couldn't forget, specially now that a... very nice butterfly was following him around

with a sigh he realized his stomach was in severe need of real food, so he went inside a fast food restaurant and got himself some quality food, he even got a discount due to him being a member of a faith

with a smile he picked up his tray of food and sat in a corner to enjoy his long deserved food... until he noticed the one sitting across him
