C47 - Break

"Bloody hell, Worden you brought a newbie into our Party, are you trying to get him killed, this is a bloody Grade F dungeon" Verrona shouted loud enough to wake up everything that was sleeping nearby before Shane could defend his honor the adventurers' team heard growling coming from different directions.

"Fuck we are surrounded," Wooden said while drawing his bow, he knot an arrow aiming at one of the wolves "They are just low-grade pawn-rank wolves, but the number is the problem," he said mentally calculating the numbers of the wolves, they were 13 in numbers, the wolves looked like normal wolf back on earth, they had grey fur.

"I count 13, why don't we let the new guy handle this for us, let's see how many he can kill before he begs for our help," Verrona said with a sadistic smile on her face.

"Now is not the time for that, we aren't here to clear the dungeon but to map out its layers, you know how much such information costs right" the other girl in the team Riniya said placing her spear forward.

"Tsk.... Bunch of killjoys, ok let get this over wi...." Before Verrona could finish her sentence, two of the wolves' bodies spit into two, blood rained like a fountain, but it didn't stop there as two more wolf bodies also spit into two by some invisible attack.

Shane smiled as he saw the effect of his [Cleave] spell, he used 15 MP in each of his [Cleave] attacks and honestly, he hadn't expected the wolves to be that weak to not be able to react to the attack, swinging his two hands vertically he sent out another two [Cleave] attack at two different wolves this time around one of the attack missed a wolf but the other was cut clean through, 'I need to work on my control, using two hands makes the control a little bit tricky' Shane thought.

After killing 5 of the wolves shane didn't bother to attack again as he was smart enough to know that he needed to reserve his MP in case they met stronger wolves because he couldn't believe that those were the wolves that killed most of the adventurers that entered into this Dungeon, he had a nagging feeling that something more terrifying was lurking deep with the dungeon.

The others were a little bit surprised by the death of more than 5 wolves in an instant, they couldn't see what had killed the wolves so they raised their guards to maximum "We need to kill those wolves fast before whatever did that returns" Wooden said as he shot an arrow at one of the wolves, before the arrow hit its target Wooden muttered some words °Skill- Repeater° as he said those words the arrow turned into 3 wolves killing them.

The other five grey wolves charged at the adventurers, Riniya immediately ran in front of the others as the only close combatant among them, with a swing of her spear she was able to decapitate two wolves at once, meanwhile at the back, a wooden staff appeared on Verrona hand, the staff had a round orb on it as she infused her Mana into the staff the orb glowed green, she hit the bottom of her staff on the floor

°EARTH-BIND°

The den's floor grew thick grassland and vines that immediately bound the remaining wolves °FIRE-BOLT° A large bolt of fire shot out from her staff engulfing the three wolves and burning them to a crisp even after the death of the grey wolves the others didn't let down their guards as they waited for what had killed the first first wolves.

Seeing as all the wolves were dead, Shane wanted to walk forward but Wooden quickly stopped him "Don't move, there is something in, something we can not see" Wooden said.

Shane looked around but he couldn't see anything so he asked "How did you know that there was something here"

"You see why you shouldn't have brought a newbie with us into a dungeon, he doesn't even know when his life is in danger," Verrona said in anger, sure the grey wolves were just Middle Stage Pawn rank wolves they were still the ruler of this dungeon floor so their Alpha sound be nearby, maybe it was the one that killed the other wolves but that was highly unlikely.

"Seriously guys I can't feel anything, let's move on, whatever you guys felt might just be your imagination," Shane said, no matter how hard he tried he couldn't feel any other presence on his floor with them so he couldn't understand why they were acting this strange.

"New kid, don't you see how those wolves were cut in two, nobody among us has that type of magic and my arrows can't do that," Wooden said he was also getting angry at Shane's behavior in the presence of an invisible danger that might take their lives anytime.

Shane looked at the wolves and back at the group, he almost burst into a fit of laughter realizing that the group was acting this way because of his magic, seeing the human covering his mouth to stop himself from laughing Riniya the sea elf snapped "What's so funny, are you too dense to not realize that this is not the place or time to joke around HUMAN" she said, not caring to hide her animosity towards Shane.

It became clear to Shane that there might be some sort of bad blood between the Humans of the world and other races, well it wasn't a new thing for Shane so he just smiled and explained to them that it was his magic that cut the wolves into two.

They didn't believe it at first but after he demonstrated it for them again with the body of a dead wolf they apologized, Shane didn't mind them, he just wanted to have fun adventuring, two of the wolves he killed had Mana Crystal in them and with the help of Wooden, Shane learned how to extract the Mana crystals.

"We are not here to Clear the Dungeon, we are here just to map it out so it would be great to avoid combat as much as possible," Wooden said while they continued to the next floor.

Meanwhile deep within the dungeon on the last floor, a wolf as huge as a minivan sat, around him were bones of the adventurers it had eaten and some of those bones were even from the wolves that were supposed to protect it, the Alpha Wolf had become so starved that it even ate its kind just to satisfy its unending hunger.

The more the wolf ate, the stronger it could feel itself because 'Just a little more and I will breakthrough, just a little more food' it thought as its stomach grumbled asking for more food, it placed its paw on a shining orb floating beside it 'Come my children' the orb glowed and more wolves appeared out of thin air, using its power as the Alpha of the wolf den dungeon it ordered the wolves to go out and bring more food for it to eat.

Within a grade F dungeon, something unexpected was happening as the whole dungeon vibrated violently and the sound of a glass breaking could be heard by the people outside the dungeon.

"Great Heavens, a dungeon break," one of the adventurers said.

"How this dungeon isn't even a month old yet how can it break," another said.

"Someone hurry back to the Guild let them know what is happening" the strongest adventurer there a STEEL rank adventurer said.
