Start of the First Day

After Ozpin's announcment of the official teams. Ruby and the gang, as well as for the other students, proceeded to go to their respective dorm rooms as it was now night time.

But before they were going to sleep...

"I'm so happy for you, Jin!" Yang said out loud as she and Ruby hugged him.

Jin just smiled in hearing Yang's praise, "Thanks, but I feel that I wouldn't have gotten here if it wasn't for you two, my wonderful and supportive sisters."

"Oh, you~! Hehehehehe..." Yang 'bashfully' purred as she clinged on to her taller brother's arm.

"What do you mean? We didn't even help you or anything, you became an Elite with your own efforts!" Ruby said before hyperactively shaking Jin's other arm while jumping around.

"You're an Elite, Jin! An Elite! The first Elite Student in Beacon Academy! Kyaa! That's so cool! Imagine the highers ups or something calling out 'We gotta send in the elites', and then your gonna come down to the fight gloriously with guns blazi-amph!" Ruby rambled on before her hood was suddenly pulled down.

Ruby was acting so crazy, that Yang had to let go of Jin and actually do something to stop her. Jin just whistled at their antics before wondering on his current position in the Academy.

"The first and only Elite Student in Beacon, huh. Hehe, I already know some on why Ozpin gave me this title, but I bet he has some other motives." He spoke his thoughts out.

"Well, after seeing the footage on how you fought in the Emerald Forest. I wouldn't be surprised if you'd be put on an advanced class." Blake said to him.

"Well, what can I say? I'm talented." Jin said with a shrug.

Even though he said it in an non-bragging tone, Weiss could still sense his smugness and her left eye twitched.

'This little.....! Did he become a narcissist after his achievement?! On the inside, I bet he wants to brag and gloat about his title with a smug look on his face!' Weiss thought to herself with a sour look.

She wasn't happy that Ruby was the leader of her team, and so was for Jin in being an Elite student in the first year.

Though, she did feel like the man actually deserved it. Thus, somewhere in the inside, she was actually happy for him, but his sister was the actual problem.

A girl like that? Becoming a leader in her team? A childish and a hyperactive younger girl that gave off an annoying and a troublemaking vibe...

The heiress was frustrated, but she did her best to hide it.

"So, Jin! Where are you sleeping?" Yang asked while patting some dust off her hands, as if she just finished on doing something.

While in the background, Ruby can be seen behind them, and was struggling on removing the hood off her head.

"I canfh tape et ofh!" Ruby called out with the hood on her face.

Yang originally pulled down her hood to calm her down, but the reason why Ruby couldn't take it off afterward was a mystery.

"The headmaster told me that I would have my own room. Similar to yours, but the room is mine, as in solo." Jin said with a smirk on his face.

"Lucky!" Yang said with a jealous look. Ruby finally removed the hood, and she turned to Yang as she gave her a small glare.

"Talk about special treatment..." Weiss said.

Jin just smiled helplessly, "Well, we better sleep now. Its almost late at night and class will start tomorrow."

Everyone nodded in agreement and said their goodnights to Jin before they all went to their respective dorm rooms.

Jin opened his room door and saw that the place was really decent with four beds, a window and a good, if not, too much amount of space.

He reallt liked the idea of not having to share his room with anyone else, but the space was really enormous.

'This room is suppose to be for a team, but I'm having it solo huh. I don't know what to do with the extra beds and spaces though.....Meh, might as well leave it alone. I don't like decorating, its too much effort.'

Jin placed his stuff on the bed and started to get changed into his sleeping clothes, which consists of a plain black shirt and his favorite black sweatpants.

As he sat on the nearest bed, a light bulb suddenly appeared above his head at the thought of an idea.

'Might as well make the most out of these things...'

Jin then proceeded to push and combine the four beds besides each other, making himself a 'King-sized Bed', as well as having all those four fluffy pillows to himself.

Satisfied with his arrangement, the young man proceeded to lie down with his arms open, wondering about the things that just happened today.

'The test is over and somehow I managed to become an Elite Student for the first years, huh. Well, I guess its normal for a genius like me to achieve such a feat. But still, what's up with that Werewolf Grimm? It could speak in human tongue, was abnormally strong, could possibly command an army of Beowolves, and knows martial arts?'

'Man, having only watched till Season 3 sucks. I don't have too much information about certain things...'

'But still, that was so weird. This world has changed, possibly because of my presence. Years ago, I didn't feel those kinds of big changes, but now.....*Sigh* Whatever. If Grimms like that guy appears again then I'll just have to kill it too.'

Ending his thoughts, he then closed his eyes to rest, and soon, he was rewarded with sleep.

.....

.....

It was early in the morning...

Jin was peacefully sleeping in his room as the sunlight slowly touched his face.

*PRRRRRRRTT!*

Jin's eyes immediately shot wide open at the sound of a loud whistle, and he let out a groan. He also heard a girl screaming in good morning from the other side, and he knew that only one person would do that.

'Ruby...' Jin thought with a frown of annoyance.

'She didn't forget to bring her damn whistle.....Of course...'

As for why Ruby had a coach's whistle, it was a weird story.

Back in the days when they were in Signal Academy, Ruby's friend, Cereza, had a hard time on getting a birthday gift for the hyperactive girl two years ago, so she just settled for a whistle on a whim.

From that day onward, Ruby used that thing to wake Jin and Yang up back at Signal for months, and it really got on their nerves. Especially Jin, as his hearing was sensitive.

'We got her to stop because of some bribes.....and some threats.....but still...'

His dorm room was just right besides team RWBY, and he couldn't really do anything about the noises, as the room wasn't soundproof.

Along with his heightened senses, he could still hear them even if he didn't want to, or if they talk in a low voice.

'Well at least I'll hear everything if they do some gossip around me, hehehe...'

He then let out a sigh as he decided to get up, do some stretching, and get ready for the first day in Beacon.

After a quick stretching session, he then went out from his dorm room and he jogged towards the Dining Hall. He could hear some noises coming from team RWBY's room, but he just ignored it all.

Jin quickly ate some ham-and-cheese sandwich and he took a nice, warm bath. After that, Jin brushed his teeth and dried his hair.

It was still the same silky, lustrous, black and red hair, all brushed down before he quickly made it into his favorite hairstyle.

He then got to his closet and opened it before taking out his Academy uniform, provided by the school. It was washed, cleaned, and ironed to perfection.

For males, the Beacon Academy uniform consisted of black suits lined with gold, accompanied by a blue vest and a white shirt with a red tie.

And from what Jin remembered, the females were supposed to have a red plaid skirt, stockings of various length (which is an optional component), and a brown jacket with a tan vest and white shirt with a red ribbon tied at the collar.

But Jin's uniform was the same as the males, but the shirt was colored silver and the vest was red, as well as having a golden tie.

His different uniform basically screamed that he was a special student.

'I gotta say, this feels nice.' Jin thought before examining himself on the mirror as he fixed his tie.

Many students would have some trouble on putting on the tie. But, because of Jin's habit on always wearing some outrageously formal clothes, even while fighting, he was an expert on fixing it.

As well as making himself look good, of course.

'Handsome as always. And this uniform adds a unique charm for me.'

After getting ready, Jin then came to the neighbor room besides his. He wanted to check on his siblings if they were ready, but as he was about to knock on their door, he noticed that the door was slightly open.

Curiosity getting the better of him, he opened the door slowly and Jin's face immediately frowned after seeing the place.

Team RWBY was standing with their backs being front of him. They were already dressed in their uniforms, with Ruby even wearing her trademark cloak.

The team was looking at their room with both accomplishment and disappointment. Their room had a fair amount of work done to it, with, among other things, a picture of the Forest of Forever Fall from Weiss, a bookshelf filled with books from Blake, a poster of the boy band 'BTS' from Yang and strangely enough, a set of curtains that were ripped and repaired by Ruby.

The room looked pretty good if it weren't for the fact that their beds were piled up in the middle.

"…This isn't going to work," Weiss pointed out.

"It is a bit cramped," Blake agreed.

"Maybe we should ditch some of our stuff…" Yang suggested.

"Or we could ditch the beds…" Ruby said slowly as a smile grew on her face, "And replace them with bunk beds!"

Weiss frowned at the idea, "That sounds incredibly dangerous."

Yang however grinned brightly, "And super awesome!"

Even Blake thought the suggestion was good, "It does seem efficient."

"Well, looking at your room, that does sound like a good idea if you think about it."

The girls then jumped in surprise and turned around, only to see a smiling Jin that was behind them and was standing at their door, arms crossed.

"Don't do that!" Weiss scolded.

"Sorry, hehe."

"Good morning, Jin." Ruby said fo him.

"Mornin." He gave them a small wave before checking around the room.

Their room actually looked decent, but the beds being piled up in the middle was really a dirty sight for him.

"Who the heck thought of piling those things up? This just made your place look like Yang's room when she's drunk.....No I bet she was the one who had the idea." Jin said before he instinctively dodges Yang's smack and moves away from her.

"Same tricks won't work on me twice." Jin said with a smirk on his face, which made the blondie irritated.

"For your information, we are decorating the room." Ruby said to him. Jin just raised an eye brow at that.

"Decorating, huh. Well, you guys sure are doing a good job so far." Jin muttered before he shook his head and turned to the girls.

"Anyway, I just came to check on you guys. I can see that you're handling things here pretty fine.....Well, I'll see you later in class."

With that, Jin just left the room and completely ignored Ruby and Yang's attempt to speak to him.

He could tell that they wanted some help in fixing up their room.

But there's no way in hell that he would help them in cleaning that place up. It was too much of a hassle.

"Be aware of the time, guys." Jin yelled in reminder.
