Chapter 215: RWBY Prime—Hero from Another World (1)

~Third POV~

After making some certain calls along with ensuring to have his own party members stay back taking care of everything in Remnant in his place Jack began to make some calls and prepare for a long or short trip of his vacation.

Preparing everything he needs along with food provisions and a large assortment of Dust in with some weapon repairs and a few other items Jack called his friends to see if they were interested in joining him on a 'vacation' with him for a few days.

Although some of his friends answered not all of them could come which Jack understood clearly as they have their family matters to deal with in understanding that the event of the Battle of Beacon was clearly still bothering them in their minds family troubles.

Ren and Nora denied it after finding the time to hunt and kill their Nightmare Monster they decided to have their own time off to unwind after the events to themselves with Jack mischievously hinting the two are going fast into bed which got a response of a sudden phone call is cut off immediately.

Pyrrha was one with free time and agreed to join in packing her own things for a long trip.

Weiss couldn't come as her family matters along with the employees of the Schnee Dust Company needed her attention along with Willow taking the reigns, again with her, Winter, and Whitely trying to help out more in the family.

Blake couldn't as she was on her own little vacation with her family and friends again trying to reconnect after so long of leaving them behind making for lost time to which Jack understands altogether replying to have a good time.

Yang couldn't as she was still processing what happened in the Battle of Beacon Tai, Qrow, and Summer tried to comfort her to move on while Ruby on the other hand joined as she tried to cheer her sister on but told her to go follow her own path thus making Ruby able to join as she packs things up.

Penny agreed to come to see this as a chance to have some time with Jack after saving him and wait for the process of being enrolled into Beacon Academy in the process with everything going on taking time to heal.

And thus Ren, Nora, Blake, Weiss, and Yang were the only ones to not come to a once and possibly more than-a-lifetime event to happen of going into another dimension with Jack not giving out the exact details.

Ruby, Pyrrha, and Penny on the other hand already packed their things as they confirmed they waited for their rides when The Future Foundation ships began to pick them up would they only then be revealed where their destination would be going next?

All three of them in separate Future Foundation Bullheads had their eyes widen in shock but the excitement of traveling to a literal new world as a vacation and must keep secret from everyone surely lighted something in their hearts….

Elsewhere in Remnant Prime…

"You told them?"

"Hm."

After Team RWBY, JNPR, Oscar, and Qrow were taken in by the Atlas police by their Ace-Ops they were immediately taken in to meet the General, Winter, and Penny inside his Headmaster's room.

Qrow began the conversation about how they had vital information but then was surprised to hear James talk about revealing the truth to them in shock.

Ironwood stands from his desk and retrieves the Relic of Knowledge from a drawer, making it grow to its normal size as he holds it up gesturing to the Relic, "Did you really think you were the only one who got to work on a new plan after Beacon? With Ozpin gone, I needed my own team of people I could trust. So yes, I told them. The Ace-Ops too. Which is why I'm so glad you're here… with this. Until now, I believed it was impossible to turn the tide against Salem truly. Oz has pushed her back, has kept victory out of her claws, but she will keep returning stronger and stronger… unless we destroy her."

He places the Relic atop his desk, while Ruby looks deep in thought as she asked the question, "But… what about the Atlas Relic?

Ironwood replies Ruby's question with a smile on his face to her, "You mean the Staff of Creation?"

Penny chips in happily as she spoke to them, "It's safe inside the Vault!"

Qrow glances at Ironwood with a curious gaze at him, "And the Winter Maiden?"

Winter replies in a calm but cold tone to him eyeing him, "She is secure and in stable condition."

Yang asked confused about what Winter meant as she spoke out, "Stable condition? What does that—"

Qrow shushes her with short words to satisfy her curiosity, "She's, uh, not exactly a spring chicken."

Ironwood nods at this as he glances towards the window and explains his actions to them, "I know how this all looks. Recalling my military? The embargo? I probably don't seem the most trustworthy right now."

Blake confused like the rest of her friends asked the question, "Then why continue it?"

Nora voices out wanting to know as well and her concerns for the people, "The people of Mantle are hurting!"

Ironwood nods as he explains his reasoning as to why he did his actions, "I needed to ensure Salem couldn't infiltrate Atlas. And I wanted my military here, protecting my people."

Yang moves her hand out motioning to the outside view of Atlas but below as well about the people, "But it's not protecting them! It's making everyone hate you."

Ironwood reaches over to a glowing panel of buttons on his desk and taps a button that resembles a table emitting light from its surface as he continues to explain, "It's a price I'm willing to pay. Just as you all have been entrusted with the knowledge of Salem's existence, I need you all to trust me. I have a plan."

*THUD*

*THUD*

Shutters come down outside the windows, darkening the room. A circle in the center of the floor bearing Atlas' emblem begins to rise up, prompting Ruby and Oscar to step off of it.

As Ironwood talks and makes his way over to it, the circle continues to rise and transforms into a table continuing to explain, "Ozpin believed the best way to fight Salem was to do so in secret. Whether that was the right choice or not isn't for me to say. But we find ourselves in a position of needing, well, a new approach."

Qrow next asked another question to the General wanting to know what's next, "And what do you suggest?"

Ironwood brings out a tiny remote and presses a button, activating a hologram display of Amity Colosseum, which hovers above the table answering Qrow's question, "That's… Amity Colosseum."

Oscar looked amazed to see the Amity Colosseum as he mumbles to himself before finally asking Ironwood, "Where the Vytal Festival is held?"

Ironwood then presses the button again, and the hologram Amity Colosseum gains an antenna atop it. Ruby and her friends stare at the hologram and look at each other as he speaks to them all, "Indeed. When Beacon fell and everyone on Remnant lost contact with one another, I knew our current system was outdated. Amity was built to bring the nations together, and it will serve that purpose once again."

Penny is overjoyed by this as she explains the purpose of the Amity Tower and the reassurance of global communication fixed, "Isn't it great? We're not going to just replace Beacon Tower. Building a new tower on top of the Amity Colosseum will re-establish global communications!"

Winter lets out a small smile of this as she began to explain the schematics of their new and improved invention, "By launching the tower high into the atmosphere, our scientists believe we can create a sort of… satellite out of reach of the Grimm and capable of maintaining global communications even if we were to lose another tower."

Everyone was wowed by the words and promising hope that came with them as Ironwood explained more of the consequences for releasing the info about Salem, "I will for the next part, where I finally tell the people about Salem. Yes, panic is inevitable, and panic brings Grimm. But I believe we are ready. Once Atlas has come to grips with the fight ahead, I'll use Amity Tower to spread the message to all of Remnant."

Weiss was the first to respond about this as she spoke to them shock in her voice, "But everything will fall apart. Grimm will be everywhere!"

Winter agrees with Weiss but the determination on her face says otherwise to her little sister, "You're right, but Atlas is willing and prepared to assist."

Ironwood presses a button on his remote, and the hologram disappears, the table transforms and recedes into the floor and the shutters pull away from the windows wanting to spread the truth, "Trying to hide the truth from the world will eventually kill us all."

Qrow looks just as shocked as everyone in his group working out their purpose, "Oz spent his whole life, many lives, keeping this secret."

Ironwood agreed with a nod as he begins heading back to his desk replying to Qrow behind him, Oscar shifts uncomfortably as if sensing something, Ironwood stops and looks back listening, "I know. But since Beacon, things have changed. Without him here to guide us, all I can do is use my best judgment."

Next came Ironwood wanting to know what happened in their adventures when Ruby lied to him about all the questions being wasted as he slumps down defeated but grins seeing the group in front of them and the 'truth' of their words earning his trust.

Ironwood picks up the Relic of Knowledge, walks over to Ruby, and offers it to her. Ruby gets confused as she asked him in clear shock, "You're giving it back to me?"

Ironwood nods to Ruby trusting her with this task of guarding the relic as he explains his reasonings to the group, "After what happened with the Ace-Ops, I don't want you to think I'm keeping anything from you, especially something as important as this. For the time being, I think it's safest with the people who brought it here."

He hands the Relic to Ruby as she thanks him while bringing up another topic, "Um, thank you Ironwood sir."

She shrinks the Relic and hooks it onto her belt, exchanging a look with Oscar while Ironwood shakes his head as he began to speak to everyone about what they want to do for everyone, "We must work together if we're to fight Salem and win. Now, if you're all on board… it's time to get work."

~Jack POV~

I really hope everything is going according to plan along with them agreeing—no wait.

They did agree since they came along since I gave them in great detail of what to be unaware of at the current time as I see three of my company Bullheads soon come down on the landing area as I awaited – saw it.

*SWOOSH*

*BAM*

"Areweseriouslygoingtoanewworldohthisissoawesome!!!"

The first to immediately rush me was Ruby speaking all in word gibberish before I responded to the cookie monster, "Ruby you know I can't understand you right now right? You are speaking gibberish again."

Stopping herself sitting upright I notice she's carrying the capsule cases I gave them to store their belongings easier, "Oh sorry about that Jack but… Are we seriously going to a new world this is so awesome! A different Remnant!"

Laughing lightly seeing Penny fly right in along with Pyrrha coming not too far behind as she spoke to me with a smile on her face, "Jack! Is it really true we're going to a new Remnant?"

Grinning like an idiot I replied with a nod with Penny not too far behind shaking with some excitement in the process, "Oh! This is going to be so much fun! I for one can't wait to see what the state of the other Remnant is going to be like!"

Agreeing to that I then began to take them to my lab to get themselves some upgrades before we go to the RWBY Prime dimension replying to them, "I can agree with you on that Penny. But for our safety, I decided we need a little upgrade and change of our appearance."

The three looked a bit confused by what I meant when I further explained to them before going into another dimension, "You know to help us blend into the other Remnant. Don't know if we accidentally stumble upon our counterparts don't you know? I don't want to be the one when we accidentally revealed to be two same people without coming off as crazy people explaining we come from another world."

"Oh…"

"Yeah makes sense."

"Affirmative friend!"

With that, I began to take them into my inner lab for upgrading weapons along with some new clothing and armor for them well at least for Pyrrha and Ruby anyway, "In this room, Ruby and Pyrrha would choose any weapon, clothing, and armor you need to change your appearance before we go in. Don't be shy and try to be different from what you usually wear ok?"

The two agreed as I gesture towards Penny she seems happy that I didn't left her out of getting a change, "Don't worry I didn't forget about you, Penny. I was happening to get you an upgrade sooner or later anyway. It will change you physically but at least you can look more human. How about it?"

Penny nodded her head as she began to hug me tightening her grip as she replied, "You have no idea how happy I am to hear! I promise to make this the best vacation ever boyfriend!"

Petting her hair lightly like an own a dog I agreed with her.

Hopefully, we can fully relax and quite possibly have a more exciting adventure to behold and the fun hasn't even begun, yet.

Although I do worry about them when real danger is around with me around at the very least, I can safely assure them comfort and safety being near me or at the very least outfit them with new gear.

Hopefully, it will be enough.

For that, I gesture Penny towards the robotics lab with her body frame having the same build as, 2B exoskeleton model to follow and then add the skin texture coating along with a few other things involved in the process.

But in the end, it will make Penny more human than this current form of her could cause alone.

For the time being at least I wonder how the original members of Team RWBY are taking care of the situation they are in or not?

I really hope I don't have to save their world because that's becoming a fucking cliché trend at this point.
