Chapter 116: RWBY/Justice League (17)

~Jack POV~

*Thud*

Dropping me and Penny off on my island and allowing them to enter I waved at them as I told to Jessica what I'll be bringing, "Don't worry! Come tomorrow to pick us up for the final fight! We'll get as much as we can on your end and call me through the private number!"

Waving at them while they flew off to Arthur's kingdom, I need to finish this Kiryu project as soon as possible.

When I landed down guiding Penny to my home base, she looked surprised to see everything I have as her eyes shined, "Wow! You managed to find a private island for yourself friend Jack! And all of these old robots… they are superior to the Atlas models and you even have the old ones…"

Next, that was when I saw 2B coming towards us as she bows a bit before updating me on the situation, "Hello Nights. It's a pleasure to see you again and you brought a guest. I'm 2B Penny I'm an android like yourself with aura pleasure to meet you."

Penny's eyes widen but soon smile shaking 2B hands, but I can tell she's happy to meet another like her, "Whoa! This place really is full of surprises friend Jack! Another Automaton like me and Diana. A pleasure to meet you 2B."

At this I see 2B bring out some Merlot Bots coming over as she began to direct to Penny of her condition, "Penny if you follow these two, they will provide you syntenic skin that will last longer. I have been briefing of what's been happening and I promise to assist as much as I can sir."

Nodding at this Penny followed the Merlot Bots away from earshot distance as 2B comes to me as we began to talk, "Sir the Arc Reactor that you wanted has finally been created. Managed to create 3 Arc Reactors for the suits and the larger one for the base. Took some time but this facility will only need to recharge once a year now. The Project Arc Reactor is a big success."

Smiling at this good piece of news it was time to increase our time date of Project Kiryu.

Agreeing this is good I began to talk to 2B about increasing the mandate of it with me working on it, "Good. Is it possible to use the Arc Reactors in Mechas Godzilla Kiryu as soon as possible by tomorrow? We need it for what's to come."

At this 2B ponders this before she gave me a realistic idea of it to me with a straight face of my plan, "Hmm… with your clone's help and pull an all-nighter along with your <Technopathy> and <Polarity> it will be done soon. It was fortunate that your clones began the groundwork and using the Orichalcum+ as its exoskeleton it should withstand a lot and the Dust Cores idea would be ideal. Now if we only need a pilot –"

A pilot huh?

Smirking at this I notified 2B that I will be driving Kiryu using the Dust Cores and Arc Reactors to power it, "I'll be a pilot. Remember I have the <Riding> skill on me there is no better pilot than me in this case. We just need to increase the speed of it pronto."

Agreeing with me 2B began to gesture to the underground place where my Mechas Godzilla or known as Kiryu resides in the prototype phase.

This one is the monsterverse version of Mechas Godzilla.

This Mechagodzilla is considerably thinner than previous incarnations of the character. Mechagodzilla is primarily a bright gunmetal silver color, with small hints of black, accented by a rich neon-red energy glow shining throughout its body through the gaps in its armored metal plates. Mechagodzilla's neck is ribbed and laced with robotic "gills," while its abdomen is reminiscent of a ribcage. Its head and toes bear a striking resemblance to King Ghidorah's while bearing Godzilla's lumbering frame.

Mechagodzilla's back supports three rows of small, square-shaped dorsal plates, the edges of which are akin to axe blades. There are bright red lights at each tip that travel downward from its head to its back, which then converges into one row as they move down its tail. Mechagodzilla has a long, segmented tail with a set of small twin blades at the tip which can spin like a drill.

Its head has a pair of small, bright red eyes that flashed blue when it begins to go out of control.

The mech's arms and hands are noticeably larger and thicker in proportion to the rest of its body, and the panels on its arms and legs are laced with armored plating. Its claws are sharp and resemble claw cranes, with small razor-sharp circular saws at the bottom of each finger and black absorbing pads on the fingers' tips. It has concealed four-cell missile launchers within its shoulder pads and two 16-cell missile launchers behind them which fire forward.

Both of Mechagodzilla's enormous feet support a total of five digits, with four at the front and one at the back. Its legs are shown to contain various pieces of machinery such as hydraulic pistons to support its massive weight.

But most importantly despite its monsterverse counterpart it has something that truly makes this beast dangerous…

While it has the Arc Reactors Scream, Elemental Dust Scream, missile launchers, jet boosters, swimming, tail power drill, Rotor claws, and drones but the most important and dangerous weapon it has when I add the Ice Dust Cores…

The Absolute Zero Cannon.

Absolute Zero Cannon, which will be stored in its chest behind a trio of folding panels, the Absolute Zero Cannon fires a ball of energy that flash-freezes its target to Absolute Zero, thereby causing it to disintegrate under the weight of its own mass at the molecular level.

That will be my trump card against Starro and I need to finish this as soon as possible…

Time to get to work.

Good thing I left my clone with everyone else to give me all the memories that will happen time to glitch spam Bullheads carrying my robot army.

I hope Team RWBY and co. would have a plan.

Because my own is this monster I just hope they have something better because if we don't… we are fucked.

~Third POV~

Arriving at what seems to be a utopia of paradise landing down in front of what could be assumed to be an ancient city for the water Faunus Arthur began to introduce everyone to it explaining what it is inside his very own castle, "Pretty sick, right? Its name has been lost to time. But to me, it'll always be… my really cool house. All right, we got bunk beds, king beds, waterbeds –"

At this Blake was the first to comment on this as she spoke out surprised, "Waterbeds?!"

Arthur merely looked at the place gesturing all to see with an obvious smirk, "Girl, look around you we are surrounded by water. Of course, will be making waterbeds. Everybody pick a room. Diner's in an hour, then we gotta figured out how to save the world. And no candy before supper time. You'll spoil your appetite!"

Making his point he knocked the candy cane that was used to serve to guests out of Bruce's hands with Yang commenting on Arthur, "He seems pluckier."

Victor crosses his hands over his waist looking around the place speaking out facts, "Denial is a heck of a coping mechanism."

Yang nods at this as she speaks to Victor about what Arthur thinks about the whole Starro situation, "I think he really wishes he had realized where Starro was sooner, it has been hiding out in the ocean –"

That was when Diana enters in the conversation cutting off Yang's words talking to her, "It's easier for him to be funny than, to be honest that he's a little scared."

Yang closes her eyes at Diana as she does the same with Yang talking to her, "It's nice to have you around and speaking awkwardly emotional truths Diana."

Diana merely replies in a happy mood glancing at the clone of Jack talking to his friends again with a smile on her face, "Thank you, friend Yang! But glancing at Team JNPR it was ashamed that the original isn't here to meet with us for the night. But if he says he needs to bring his own forces the more the merrier to help our cause yes Friend Yang."

Yang nods at this while Nora was impressed with everything around them with Ren tailed her while Pyrrha talked to the other members while Jack walks towards Yang's group, "Yo! Yang, you are doing ok you know everything that happened?"

Yang scoffs at this before jabbing a light punch on the clone's shoulder as she talked with a smile on her face, "Yeah. Just a lot to process but even so all we need to do is discuss the plan and you clone go poof to send memories about the plan huh? Still would be glad that we have the original, but can you let this girl in a secret to know what the original is planning?"

Smirking with a small smile forming on his face the clone of Jack explained to Yang what the original is bringing, "Oh… that. Well, the OG is bringing with him a large force to combat Starro and a project of his. But the thing is it's not finished yet, so the original wanted it to be ready by tomorrow for what's to come. He sent me here to bring morale support and update on the plans."

Yang raises an eyebrow at that as she glances over to everyone talking asking another question to the clone with a curious tone, "Sigh… you know when I thought I get to be a Huntress I thought of going on a wild adventure was the life for me but now? It feels… inappropriate at the current time I was acting with the whole world on our shoulders. I mean we are basically the only ones that know what's going on and can't fail it's just… overwhelming scary even... but I have to ask how you are handling the situation?"

Diana soon left leaving Jack alone with Yang to talk as he raised an eyebrow with Yang smiling a bit looking at everyone talking amongst each other before she elaborates further, "I mean… just a few months ago you were a civilian that helped my sister one day and in the few days later saved her while I couldn't handle the Ursai Grimm, but you came in time. Then with Blake's issues with the White Fang and after that Weiss Nightmare you helped save her even though you two hated each other but then became friends..."

Yang stops a bit before finally wanting to know why Jack isn't afraid despite the dangers they face, "You always seem to put up a smile on your face being brave through this… I was just wondering how you do it. You are just the brave type or courageous? Or you don't feel fear?"

Sighing at this Jack replied in an honest tone catching Yang by the surprise of his response to her, "Honestly? Scared. I smile to show the pressure ahead of me is nothing I can't handle and to trick the fear inside of me."

Listening to Jacks's words made Yang silent with Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Ren, Nora, and Pyrrha silent in pure shock at his words.

They usually see Jack being cheerful or courageous at times but hearing him scared seems to make him more… human in their eyes instead of seeing him as courageous with Jack speaking up more, "But even so when I thought about everything thus far, I'm glad you guys came to my life. I'm pretty sure I can't live without being helped."

Hearing this shocked Yang a bit while nearby the two Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Ren, Nora, and Pyrrha were listening in to Jack's words with a smile on his face keeping it up, "But against something like this though? If we don't take this risk, we can't create a future where we all see another day at Beacon. Enjoy the futures that come after this. If we give up now, we're going to regret it without even fighting once."

"Hahaha!"

Yang soon laughs in a burst of laughter hearing Jack's response slamming Jack's back as she spoke to him, "Hahaha! Glad to hear that then! At least we have Team JNPR and Penny helping us not everything is hopeless. Don't forget that we're all in this together. That means we take all the risks for a better future. Besides, we all have things needing to do. We simply got to beat it up and win right?"

Jack could only smile at this as he agreed with Yang unaware that their teams were eavesdropping on them with smiles on their faces pushing past the fear, they all have against the odds…

Each of them wears a smile to trick the fear each of them has about tomorrow wither they win or not they will be risking it all for their better tomorrow in their fight.
