"Lucas…?" Queen Charlotte called out to him yet again, in a way that he couldn't deny hearing her annoying voice calling out his name.

In a flash, Lucas recalled his brief encounter with Edna before he set out on his mission to lead Alpha Ryder's men into the fortress that was once his alpha's. It seemed like her warnings were happening right there and then.

"Where the heck do you think you are going?" Edna inquired furiously, as she stood in his path. "Don't tell me that you're actually thinking of helping out Alpha Ryder."

"What if I was?" Lucas asked, hiding how shocked he had been by the sudden confrontation with the powerful witch who seemed to have appeared from out of the blue. She was sounded like he was in grave danger, and that had him scared out of his skin.
