Alpha Charles's heart was racing frantically as he stomped all the way to the Queen Maya's residence. He was stuck in mixed feelings of fear and surprise. What could have happened to him to make him suddenly sick?

He recalled the sight of the strange being that had flown to the where the building was, and that made him wondering if that could have been the reason for the sudden sickness. Could the spirits have been trying to visit the consequences of his actions on his child?

The cries of the child permeated through the air, and that made his blood run cold. How severe could it have been? He walked into the front door which was open, he saw Maya carrying the baby who was red from the incessant crying. The anguish went all the way down to Alpha Charles's soul. He could almost feel the baby's pain from where he was.
